I just turned 18 I'm 13 days away from graduating high school and I'm gonna join the Marines. Most of my family sell drugs and In n out of jail. I don't want to be like that and I'm ready to be a Jarhead
I think one reason we watch these videos is because we wonder deep inside if we would have had the balls to do this and have some regret at not trying.
I remember at the graduation ceremony after we were dismissed back to our families I was just 18 years old and I ran to my mom, tears running down my face I hugged her and said "I made it mom, I've accomplished my biggest dream" "I'm proud of you baby" I will never forget that day and it still brings me to tears to this day.....
@@raybraud1568 Douche!! No I'm using my phone, and I'm a girl pretentious Douche!! ...It took you a week to reply? DAAAMM your mommy's strict with your computer time😂 Did she finally let you off of youtube kids? You sad sack of sh*t!😂
Heres how to survive from a old timer which took me awhile to learn myself. Do what your told WHEN your told to do it!!! Simple enough huh?? WRONG. When you got 3 seconds to shave left side of face and get back on line then you get back on line on 3 seconds with a razor stuck in your face and cream falling down. Its simply testing you to follow orders. They know you cant shave in 3 seconds...they just want to see who will stop and get back on line AS ORDERED and who stands around a few more seconds trying to finish the shave. They wont be pissed if you return to line as ORDERED with only a half done face. Thats a order that was given and you immediately carried it out., That pleases them. More than likely. I know I stood on line many times with shave cream all over my face and blood running out of my cuts...but I was ordered to stop and get out. The guys who panicked and hung back trying to finish were the ones in deep shit. The recruits that immediately stopped shaving and ran back to line each time often were rewarded with being able to go back and finish shaving until your done.. The DI knows you cant shave in 3 seconds...its just a exercise to see who can follow orders. .if anybody is going to the island keep that in mind. Always without any hesitation do what they tell you to do!!! If your not done getting some clothes on or anything just go to the line when ordered even if your underwear is over your head instead of your ass. Might look like a idiot but you FOLLOWED ORDERS and thats what gets you off Parris Island alive, happy, and damn proud!!
I leave for Marine Corps Bootcamp in 6 days. I'm going into this pretty well versed on all that will happen during my time there, but I'm sure reading forums and watching videos doesn't compare to the atmosphere of actually going through it all. I'm not all too nervous about anything in particular, except for my cardio. As an ex-wrestler, I understand the importance of having good stamina and such. I know I probably could've trained more (as in running before shipping ) but... I didn't and I'll just have to deal with it. I'm only writing this to see how naive I was before shipping. I know that I am only gonna be one marine and that I more than likely won't matter too much to anyone, but as I said before - this is little spill is for me and something to hold me accountable to. I started thinking about joining the Marine Corps back in 2014, the year my brother graduated from Paris Island. I was in middle school at the time and I remember seeing my brother for the first time in several months... Man, he looked so fcking cool. After that, I used to mention that my brother was in the Corps anytime I got Lol. "Oh yeah, that's sucks you got a C? Oh well, I got an A and oh yeah my brothers a Marine." - Lol wasn't that bad, but you get it. A little later when I got in high school I started wrestling and I became good friends with this kid and we started training together. At the time, my mom was going through a lot so, my friend and his family took me in. I honestly can't be more thankful for them. During my time with my friend, I met his stepdad and he was tanker for the Marines. He was a cool dude and would cook the most bomb ribs. Towards the end of my senior year, I realized I haven't done shit for my future. I didn't apply for any scholarships, I didn't visit anywhere and kind of felt left behind my piers. And it's not like I was dumb or anything I graduated with a 4.26 GPA and was 5x state qualifier for track and field. I honestly just didn't know what I wanted to do for my future. So I went to talk to my brother to ask him how the Marines was for him because at the time I started considering the military. He told me," Well if you want to go into the Marines, don't. Go join Navy or Air Force." So I took this information with me and headed to a recruiting center near me and I signed my papers to be in the dept to become a United States Marine! All I can say is thank you to my brother for those encouraging words and I can't wait to become a Marine! (I'll edit my post whenever I hopefully get through Paris Island!) 2019-10-01 Edited 20200501 Hey! uhh, I did it, I became a Marine! Sorry, it took me so long to update this comment. I totally forgot I did this. But to my surprise, it got some attention. Well here's my thoughts on Bootcamp - Long 13 weeks lemme tell you! And it's not as intense as you think it will be. It's nowhere close to Full Metal Jacket, or like as "painful", you think it may be. For me the only hard part was being away from my family. Shits tough. You never really realize how much they mean to you and how much you miss them until that first letter. (about 2 weeks in). Once I got that first letter I was in tears man... pretty much everyone who got letters was crying. And that for me was the like first realization that "We are in the suck together ". After a while, you get used to the day to day things, like waking up at 4 am in the morning / then chow right after cleaning the squad bay / then go to morning pt ( The sun wasn't even up) then pt till the sun just about raises ( Around 7-8, pt for around an hour to 1.5 hours ) / then go back to squad bay and get cleaned up. / Head to class. / Sit in class for what seems like hours. / Go to chow / then go back to class / then leave class and learn how to drill or get fcked with by your DI's. / then go to evening chow - That's pretty much the first phase. Here's some advice for you for Bootcamp; you should and will live by this quote, "Live chow to chow, day to day, Sunday to Sunday." ( It'll make more sense once you get there. Lol ) / Fcking put out and be the loudest. The DI"s want to see you put tf out. They may seem like they hate you, and that's because they do. But in the end, they want to see you become Marines. / If you want to become (1) Guide or (4) squad leader, ( These billets usually get meritoriously promoted coming out of Bootcamp. ) Be fucking loud, scream your lungs out. Oh and learn how to drill. - ask one of your recruiters and practice it. It may sound and look dumb at first, but if you want to succeed and go from a Pvt to a PFC, as I did coming out of BC, then you better learn how to drill. If you want to know more about Bootcamp or like have any questions feel free to msg me on Instagram @Thaitutt / I'll be more than obliged to answer all questions about my experience thus far in the Marine Corps. Semper Fi. Edited 20210905 Greetings again! This is another update! I recently just picked up Cpl ( E-4 ) and doing so under my first 2 years of being in! This was a big goal of mine so now onto the next, being a Sgt! As for my job, I am a RADAR Technician. I work on radars that help ATC see aircraft and guide them in. I know it's not what most think of when you say you're a Marine, but it is what it is. I very much enjoy my job and all the knowledge that comes with it. For me, I didn't join the military to see action or go fight the bad guys. I am using the military as my first step into adulthood. Now many would say my reasons to join are wrong and that I'm a pussy for doing so, but I mean it's the truth. So I'd advise many of you, youngsters, to look for other paths than the military. Try for college, make good grades, and go for scholarships. Don't be dead set on joining the military and specifically not the Marine Corps. If you are wanting to serve there are other options, such as the Navy and Air Force ( pussies go to the Army ). I had Navy peers going through the same schoolhouse as me in Pcola, but when they graduated they had 10k waiting for them. I on the other hand had zip, zilch, nothing waiting for me.// I understand that money may not be a factor in your choice of branch, but it was for me. I grew up poor with a single mom and I was too naive/ stubborn to go and talk to the other branches. My main goal in life is to have financial stability and a family to take care of. I encourage you, youngsters, to go to the different branches and check out what they have to offer. And if you're dead set on being a Marine then please think about other MOS's than being a grunt or the infantry. Yeah, it may sound cool and stuff but there are other MOS's that help your future in the long run. I know a lot of grunts and infantry who get out and don't have many options in life other than being security/ policeman work. That's 4 years of destroying your body with rucks and exercises to just get out and be right where you started when you joined. And when you do join take advantage of TA and get some college classes done while you are in. It also helps you rank up and saves you money if you plan on using your BAH when you get out. Semper Fi Marines.
Look at it like this. When you watch DI videos on TH-cam there's no trying to remember anything and no pressure to not screw up. In actual boot camp it's 88 days of hell. But it does gets better. Only advice I can give is this. No matter what you do your wrong. Once you understand that they will mess with you just because, then it becomes bareable.
I was in the Army, did basic at Ft. Knox I concur that friggin bayonet assault course broke my ass off, I thought I was going to die of heart failure at the top of the hill, I ripped off my IBA and BDU top so I didn't feel like I was going to suffocate.
My dad was a Marine and a real champ with the pugil stick from what his buddies told me. I am so proud of my dad, he will always be my hero. SEMPER FI dad, I love you
One of the only true "regrets" in life is not joining the military when I had the opportunity to. My life was on track to go that way, when I was 16-18 I was motivated to do it, I was staying in shape, exercising after school at the gym 4 times a week or so, was probably in the best shape of my young adult life. I had already been talking to recruiters, gave them all my information. The Marines recruiter I talked to was probably the nicest adult I had ever met at that time in my life. He called my house often to speak with me actually, which I thought was a little weird but awesome at the same time. It wasn't even like he was bugging me about signing the papers because I wasn't even 17 yet so I couldn't but he'd check in every so often. I hadn't decided on going Navy or Marines yet but he was definitely swaying me I remember. Either way, everything changed when I met a girl and my naive selfish self wanted nothing to do with the service and everything to do with having a really attractive girlfriend and everything that came with that like partying, drinking, doing stupid adolescent shit. I remember it being the first "serious" long-term relationship I had ever been in and it was all I cared about, pretty typical teenager stuff. So yeah, being in my mid 30's now, when I watch videos like this it always makes me reflect on my life choices around that time. My life worked out ok with the path I chose so I really can't complain but I still have that sort of longing that comes with wanting to be a part of something greater and to serve a country I dearly love, just as my relatives did. Nothing but the utmost love and respect for our servicemen and women. Thank you and God speed.
RetroCNY I’m joining the Marines and I know I should be excited but at the same I’m really scared, not because of the training but because I might fuck up and get at everyday. Some part of me telling me not to go and some part of me saying don’t be a pussy and do it. I really wanna do it but at the same I feel like I don’t. I don’t want to make regrets later in my life that I miss something awesome. But right now fuck it whatever happens.
Man I used to watch this everyday back in 2009-2011 in high school. Ended up going to college and getting my masters, working in cancer research now. What a crazy transformation. Often wonder what would've changed and how things could've ended up. Legit memorized all these words.
BigBetasur we are smart at what we do. Tell ya what, we can sit side by side, take an IQ test, then fight,,, I’d beat you badly at both. BTW,, I am 58 and have leukemia, 22 years in the Marine Corps, I’d bet you $100 to $1,000 for you if you win, I’d beat you badly at both. That’s how confident I am. You ready?
I’m 13 right now. Had dreams about joining the military since I was 6. As soon as I graduate highschool I’m going to join. Respect to everyone that has already served or is currently serving.🎉🎉
@WhatTheHawk91 oh I definitely agree, could you imagine what would happen without a military to defend us? We’d see an invasion of millions of foreigners, streaming across our open borders, committing acts of violence and changing the political landscape of the country.
I used to watch this back in highschool like 2012 and was so pumped to go to the marines. Backed out last minute. Fast forward 11 years im 28 now and left with regret wondering what my life would have been like had I enlisted
I wish u all good luck, I served 4 yrs In the Marines Active Duty, 14 Yrs Army Active duty and 6 yrs Army Reserve. Retired July 2019 with almost 24 yrs in total service. Remember than less than 1% of the US population ever served so keep your head up and dont quit. When the going get tough, the tough gets going, Be proud and GOD keep you safe
It's like that on purpose. When you're learning how to shoot they want you to soak up the fundamentals and actually use them. They're purposely not putting stress on you when you learn to shoot because if you're stressed, you're probably not going to learn anything. After you've learned the fundamentals and shoot correctly, then you'll learn stress shooting later on.
live ammo makes them .... well I wouldn't say nicer, but they want you a lot calmer on the shooting range, I think they were pretty calm but made up for it the following week, that has been 30 years ago, but Im sure its still pretty close.
Adam Alexander Ponton why not some people wanna serve their country others wanna spend 4 years of their life in college and then the rest of their life paying it off, others wanna sit behind a desk all day, other wanna become surgeons just let people do what they want
@@revolttookhim0833 if you go to college you will then do the job you like for the rest of your life, while being payed a good amount of money for it, and then live your life however you want after retirement
Chappie in some cases yes in others not so much, for example the law scene right now is so oversaturated most of them can’t find a stable job, I know a guy who majored in engineering got his degree and everything he could only land a job as a teacher teaching high schoolers the very basic code and not getting payed much, plus after the marine corps you can also go to college or you can even go to college while in the marines only difference is Uncle Sam will pay most if not all of it off
@@plstne48 They do. A calm environment while dealing with a firearm for the first time keeps everyone including the instructor safe. These kids are already stressed out to the max. Yelling and screaming during fire arm training only makes things WAY worse.
I have the utmost respect for these guys. I don’t have what it takes and I openly admit it. These guys deserve and have my utmost respect. They are more man than I am. Well done.
fucking with a recruit for ten minutes before granting permission to use the head, push ups, bends and thrusts and mountain climbers until you feel like you're near death, the whiskey locker, getting hung with your own belt...old breed shit they probably don't do anymore
im not in the marines but i am in the Finnish defense forces. we dont have to do even a fraction of the u.s training but man i teared up when the ceremony happened. i aint much but getting to become a part of a bigger thing really made me happy and i can feel what they felt :)
@No limit ty enlisting after college provides so many benefits that you should google. You wont be a private and youll be respected right off. youre viewed as an asset more than another recruit. you wont have the same terrible experience some have or dont have. I've heard its much easier to serve in the capacity you desire. When he's 55, he can go to school for free. Or let his offspring go for free (GI Bill). Life is about opportunities and choices and you dont seem to know much about the Corp. good luck. dont make any vets angry.
The drill at 6:45 has the softest, most understanding voice. Even months after watching this video I come back to that specific section in week 7. I don't think he's screamed at a private once.
During marksmanship training it's a diff instructor to actually help you get better at shooting, getting screamed at by ur D.I will js fuck up ur shots so ya
Wanted to join the Marines when I was 20. Girlfriend, now wife was w child and didnt want to leave her for bootcamp. Have great respect and admiration for these patriots. I settled for law enforcement but I always think to myself today, over 20 years later- What if? I've been blessed more than I deserve and things turned out for the best. No member of a military branch will ever receive a citation. I always buy a vet a beer too. Much respect for these men and women
This is the EXACT reason why I am going to the Marine Corps when I get older. This is awesome and I would love fighting for my country. Much respect to marines who make America amazing as it is. PLUS I LOVE SAYING YES SIR AND IM IN JROTC!
gamersfun98 dude, right now, I’m in high school and taking JROTC (you should know what that is btw if you don’t then oh well). I’m gonna go to college to join regular ROTC. Then I’m either going to become a firefighter or I’m gonna join the service. That’s only one of the ideas for my life after high school. I have backup plans as well.
20 Lbs to go . I can’t wait. Been training for it. I couldn’t run a mile without stopping 3 years ago. Now I run a mile everyday without stopping under 9 mins . God is good .
I’m waiting to head to MEPS to be a Marine and this just encourages and excites me to keep moving forward to being a MARINE. Thank you all , for your service.
Protect my your dad's gravestone...? What do you guys have grave robbers or something?😅 you dont need to join the marines to prove something to everyone you know? You join because you love your damn country, it's people, and every little thing in the US...Not for personal agendas which is pretty selfish. But if you are truly serious about joining for not the wrong reasons, then definitely do so!!
im not even planning on joining the marines ( i’m planning on joining the air force ) but i love watching videos of other branches to see how different they all are
My brother is a Marine. I'm Air Force/Space Force. He has an amazing military pickup truck. I have a prius. We both served. There is no comparison between branches. But there was no way I was going to be the black sheep. All of my family served, and I continue to serve. I once asked my brother if I could make it in Marine Corps boot camp. He said that "I know you have the determination, but I don't think you could deal with the bullshit." Love all my brothers in arms.
I leave for bootcamp in 2 days. I know it will be hard, but I know that it is mostly mental. I am physically capable of pulling through, now I just need to mentally develop throughout bootcamp in order to graduate. Luckily, I’ll also have the grace of God on my side as well to help me when times get tough. Wish me luck, guys. See y’all in 13 weeks.
Curl ups work core well, and exercise is ALWAYS great for losing weight, but the biggest part of it is your diet. Keep strong and remember what you're struggling for
I saw an episode of "Celebrity Boot Camp", were Coolio thought it would be a good idea to steal a muffin from the mess hall. The Drill Instuctor squished the muffin with his size 12 shoe and made Coolio do push-ups on it.
Aye yo. Y'all gonna make me lose my MIND up in here! Ya understand that? Y'all gonna make me lose my COOL up in here! Ya understand that? Y'all gonna make me act like a FOOL up in here! Ya understand that? -Bayonet Trainer DMX
WHO SAID THAT? WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT? WHO’S THE SLIMY TWINKLE-TOED PIECE OF SHIT WHO JUST SIGNED HIS OWN DEATH WARRANT?! NOBODY? THE FAIRY FUCKING GODMOTHER SAID IT!
Angel Juarez I have a top tier truck driving job, mainly because I have kept a good driving record and work history. And I do what my employer expects of me. But the reason I wish I would have joined the military is to have the character and confidence that it instills into people. And then of course I would have been able to pass that on to my kids and saved them a lot of trouble in life.
The one thing I remember from boot camp 29 years ago now is that the PMIs during rifle qual week were NOT like DIs to us. They deliberately made rifle qual week much more relaxed. They were coaches to us. And I can remember the feeling of wanting rifle qual week to not end!
@@dongsondoantran2233 if you’re trying to join, bootcamp is the easiest part lol The actual marine corps is the hard part. You get to be more of an individual at thAt point but the biggest issue can be working with so many different people actually. Most important thing I learned was do not compromise on your morals, be a good person and set boundaries and lastly learn to tactfully stand up to yourself to anyone ( if you’re in the right ) probably not the most exciting wisdom but you’d be surprised the amount of shit people that get in the military…so anyone can pass bootcamp but not everyone can adapt to the actual military. But if you have questions lmk
I may have survived cancer, had multiple surgeries, and been stuck more times than a pincushion, but I very much doubt I would last more than 72 hours (and I'm being extremely generous in my estimate) in Marine Corps training. Technically, I probably wouldn't be fit for military service anyhow, as I remember taking a phone survey with someone from the Armed Forces when I was 18, and when I gave him my height and weight, he asked, "Do you have any friends who'd be interested in joining the military?" Nevertheless, to all the men and women in the Marines (and the Armed Forces in general), I salute and respect you.
I don’t know if you still have this account but you would likely do great. Having that history of struggle and suffering made you into an adult way before most I reckon
@@danieldennehy3578 Yes, this account is still active, and thank you very much for your kind words :). I will agree that my bout with cancer (the first of two, it turns out) kind of pushed the Fast Forward button on my aging, as I wasn't really concerned with most of the things my peers in high school and college worried about (i.e. wearing the latest fashions, having a nice car, fitting in). Moreover, while a fair number of my relatives (both grandfathers, a great aunt, two cousins, an uncle) have served in the U.S. military, I'm thinking that my ADD wouldn't be of much help in processing and following instructions right as they're given. Then again, I think taking the "Forrest Gump" approach ("What is your sole purpose??" "To do whatever you tell me!") might be useful.
I’ve had thoughts of joining after graduating from high school in 2009 but something told me not to do it. But to the people who did I salute you and wish you nothing but the best 🫡
LOL - Ear plugs? We had none of that when I was in the Corps! My ears are still ringing from all the live fire exercises we did! Damn tinnitus I forgot about the old air strip where we did the Crucible. I remember doing the hand grenade toss, some moron dropped it in the fighting hole but the instructor was aware enough to pick it up and toss it in time
I'm a Marine veteran from the 1970s. I still respect the Corps and its training, as well as the values that it instills into your future adulthood. There are differences I noticed though in this training video compared to what Marines of my era experienced. Two notable ones; back then the DI's could rough you up physically and often did. Also on the firing line, we weren't issued ear protection of any kind. Could be why I have marked hearing loss in both ears as well as severe Tinnitus in my left ear. Of course, being a 'grunt' in combat didn't help either. No offense to WM's; but, we didn't have co-ed basic training either. I went through basic at MCRD, San Diego, CA. Always Faithful!
I may not be American, but in 2020 or 2021 I'm enlisting into the Royal Canadian Army. I have all the up most respect for everyone who fought and still fights to protect Canada and the United States.
6:40 seeing the drill instructor speaking calmly and like an experienced mentor to that recruit was honestly kind of endearing, considering they’re basically constantly murdering their vocal cords 😅
Honestly the USMC boot camp is whatever you imagine hell is but 1000x harder -- and looking back on it I realize that I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT! (NO i wouldn't do it again though)
It's not fun- it's miserable. Slowly after each week it gets tolerable and acceptable. Initially, there is no toilet paper, you can't go to the restroom but when told- they tell you when to do everthing. People just dont get it. It's a lot of bullshit.
You guys are crying about the USMC how hard and difficult it is. Join the Dutch Marines. The Dutch Marines are the best marines in Europe. You need sleep in the forest for 1 week each month (3 at the barracks and 1 in the forest with almost no food and heavy bags) you need to walk 20 + miles with heavy bags and take big steps every time. Dutch Marines is more harder than the USMC, believe me!
I feel for the marines that will wind up fighting for politician's nonsense wars. We haven't been in a serious war in years. I can respect everyone who wants to fight for our nation. However, I feel sorrow for those who are stuck fighting for corrupt politician's profits.
Borne Stellar iraq, afghan, as bad as it sounds, is actually some necessary ones. US needs puppets in the golf, and it needs, sometimes to flex muscles to whip these puppets in line.

(I'll edit my post whenever I hopefully get through Paris Island!) 2019-10-01

Hey! uhh, I did it, I became a Marine!
Semper Fi.

Greetings again!

Hope you made it
Hey that is awesome how did it go
watching is nothing like the real thing
Clarence Gilbert tell me what is different, not disagreeing just would like to know what its really like
Look at it like this.
Clarence Gilbert what u said they think its simple shit is a real deal workout
my number 1 fear is not understanding them I can usually understand fast talking but in a new environment with people screaming at me.. yea..

Weapons instructor was clear and calm.
They have a different style for different sections?
DC Voices Probably, you don’t want people flustered when learning how to handle their weapon
@@dreamweaver391 especially while deployed lol
live ammo makes them .... well I wouldn't say nicer, but they want you a lot calmer on the shooting range, I think they were pretty calm but made up for it the following week, that has been 30 years ago, but Im sure its still pretty close.
Dude idk, when I was infantry in the army. They screamed, yelled, smoked us for hours and then we shot

I didn't realize DMX was a drill instructor in the marine corps
The one thing I remember from boot camp 29 years ago now is that the PMIs during rifle qual week were NOT like DIs to us. They deliberately made rifle qual week much more relaxed. They were coaches to us. And I can remember the feeling of wanting rifle qual week to not end!
So this is what happened to DMX after his rap career spiraled...
Scarface 927 not a bad career choice. Everyone can use some discipline
Thats exactly what was going through my head 😂😂
Well I leave Monday, this is gonna be awesome.
Jacob Green good luck to you soldier thank you for joining 🙏🏾
So how was Marine boot camp jar-head?
@@radicaledward3018 he got dropped
@@timberwolvesfanforlife7734 there's a difference between a marine and a soldier. Soldiers are in the army.

1:04 I didn’t know it was possible for anyone to speak this calm at marine corps boot camp
Great Job Marines!
Thank you for your service!
Blessings
Recently enlisted and I’m getting myself ready physically! Did my first pull up the other day too!!!!
Oh shit.
Ah fuck. My brother are you still alive?
@@dongsondoantran2233 damn right I am lol I’ll be getting out of the military in the next 60 days actually
@@FRESCO_KUN Very nice. Any great wisdom for posterity?
@@dongsondoantran2233 if you’re trying to join, bootcamp is the easiest part lol
The actual marine corps is the hard part.
4:25 Week 5: Guest instructor DMX
Then again, I think taking the "Forrest Gump" approach ("What is your sole purpose??" "To do whatever you tell me!") might be useful.
i’m just worried about not being able to understand what they’re saying when they yell when i go to boot camp
I’ve had thoughts of joining after graduating from high school in 2009 but something told me not to do it.
But to the people who did I salute you and wish you nothing but the best 🫡
Do you understand that!!??
Some recruit: *Yo!*
Drill sergent: 😲
LOL - Ear plugs? We had none of that when I was in the Corps! My ears are still ringing from all the live fire exercises we did! Damn tinnitus
I forgot about the old air strip where we did the Crucible. I remember doing the hand grenade toss, some moron dropped it in the fighting hole but the instructor was aware enough to pick it up and toss it in time
Marines are the real men and woman this nation needs. Semper Fi.
I wish you the best of look in whatever country you serve. Not everyone is built for military service. God speed son.
Dilan Matthews hopefully you get it
As an American, I'm a bit jealous that I don't get to join a Royal Army

What about Mexico??? :(

6:40 seeing the drill instructor speaking calmly and like an experienced mentor to that recruit was honestly kind of endearing, considering they’re basically constantly murdering their vocal cords 😅
my sisters at Paris Island !!! 🥰 this is some tough stuff i’m really proud :)
Honestly the USMC boot camp is whatever you imagine hell is but 1000x harder -- and looking back on it I realize that I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT! (NO i wouldn't do it again though)
God Bless those young men and women who dare to have the courage to join the Marines!!
First ones in! Last ones out!
9:57 I was laughing so hard 😂
lol
Been in the Corps 2 years now. It's kinda good to remember my roots after skatin' too long 😂😂😂
...Absolutely THE BEST MOVE OF YOUR LIFE!! ....BE SOMEBODY!
Good job guys/girls, I couldn't hack it if i tried, but you did it. Very impressive.
bruh this shit looks fun as hell
Danktato Trust me. It's not.
esketit boi you gonna regret those words
Hahaha it's not, go find out
I dropped tears watching this... December 28th 2004 I’ll never forget that day
I feel for the marines that will wind up fighting for politician's nonsense wars. We haven't been in a serious war in years.
I can respect everyone who wants to fight for our nation. However, I feel sorrow for those who are stuck fighting for corrupt politician's profits.
So the Afghanistan War isn't serious?
Borne Stellar iraq, afghan, as bad as it sounds, is actually some necessary ones. US needs puppets in the golf, and it needs, sometimes to flex muscles to whip these puppets in line.
Logan Burgess no at all U.S only wanted to steal their oil supply
David Martinez, I'm talking about the seriousness of the causalities.
Borne Stellar it’s simple. I would kill terrorists for myself and to defend our country
God bless you all and stay strong.
awww :-)
Cannot wait. I’m 17 and leaving for Paris island soon
As army infantry 7 year vet, I really love the way the Marines do rifle
Sounded like DMX was in there talking about "do you understand that" I was waiting for him to start barking 🤣
i was in spanish class while watching this, and lemme tell ya, watching marine boot camp with spanish music in the background is really great.
