she may be old asf, but she is like one of the most powerful fighters in the harry potter universe, and she even held her ground in the books against voldy himself, like she is not weak. and when she fought snape, i dont think she was going all out at al, like at all at all. like homie, she took on snape, made all the suits of armor fight for the school, which is hundreds or thousands of them, helped put up a massive force field around the school, fought in the battle of hogwarts which everyone brushes over, like bro how many death eaters did she kill during the battle? like when i think about that, im seeing her flawlessly duel like 3 or 4 at a time and not to mention she literally took on voldy one on fucking one for what was probobly not a 5 minute duel but like 30 minutes WITH HIM ALONE. THE DARK LORD FOR 30 MINUTES WHILE DEATH EATERS ARE THERE BY THE HUNDREDS, DEFENDING THE SCHOOL, AND FIGHTING ANY DEATH EATERS THAT ARE OVERPOWERING A STUDENT NEXT TO HER, LIKE BRO. WHAT. shes my favirote charcter, like she is one of the three most powerful witches or wizards in the series in my opinion.

Also it was probably 5 mins cause it happened right after Harry stopped playing dead and left his position laying on the ground. But yea, her duelling Voldy anyway and actually managing to hold her ground just shows she is very powerful.
@@agayfrog893 Well, Mcgonagall is surely a powerful with, definitely in the best ten in the wizarding world, but mostly if you see the wizards sorted by their power, Snape is on higher place than she is. First is always Dumbledore, second is Voldy/Grindelwald, third is also Voldy/Grindelwald, fourth place mostly belongs to Snape, because he creates his own spells, masters dark arts, can make patronus as the only one of Deatheaters... and somewhere near behind him is Mcgonagall. That means she doesn't belong to the group of the most powerful wizards, but she is probably the most powerful witch at all. That also sounds as a good goal.

True. I heard that the game was a mixture of both the book and the movie canon but I wish after Snape’s health bar’s decrease, we saw at least a cutscene treatment of the said fight.

@@Monkonmunky I dont know about the whole game but this dialogue seems pretty reasonable to me given that the only one who knew Snapes true agenda was Dumbledore. From McGonagalls POV Snape could be Voldemorts servant all along
Snape is somewhat a coward though. He was brave for being a double spy and protecting Harry, but he also chose to bully Harry just because he is James's son. That is somewhat a cowardly thing to do. Not that he can't move on from the past but to hate a student just because he's the son of his bully in school. I still have respect for him but I get where Minerva's coming from

I knew that Deathly Hallows had a game for PS3 and I think PC, I don't know if XBOX too, but at least PS3 and PC it was. Never played, cause I didn't have anymore a PC when it was released and never had a PS3. HP games for PS2 were the ones until Half-Blood Prince

I think this scene is the most badass among teachers. In the book, in the game and even in the movie. Snape didn't want to fight or hurt anyone. He was doing his job of hiding his true purpose!

They can’t accept that James and Sirius are bullies and Lupin an enabler. They can't swallow the truth that they contributed in Snape’s eventual descent in Dark Arts.

Well, in the books Luna stunned Amycus (the woman) Harry then tortured Alecto (the man) and with McGonagall eventually using the Imperius Curse with him as she both tied the Carrows up, eventually leading to the duel as Snape discovered them on the Ravenclaw headquarters. Yeah, ew.

I love how he actually helped the people he was loyal to, in other words the Order Of The Phoenix, he only blocked spells and then knocked out the carrows and took there wands before he escaped
That was in the movie, in the book, McGonagall took care of the Carrows in Ravenclaw tower and then battled Snape in a corridor while the students were asleep. Also, during McGonagall and Snape's duel, Snape did use offensive spells to play the 'bad guy' part in front of McGonagall, Luna and Harry, but McGonagall is just so powerful nothing really damaged her (and the same for Snape, though he was eventually overpowered and fled through a classroom window, not flying out out like in the movie, but jumping out and flying away)
@@caveboy5677 No. Snape fought evenly with McGonagall. It wasn't until the other teachers joined when he was forced to flee.

They should make a real simulation sandbox/story rpg like Elder Scrolls out of this. Complete Character customization, you get sorted, learn spells, set and use your favorite spells for combat, maybe you’re more elemental, dark magic/unforgivable curses, maybe create some custom or uncover secret spells, face all the threats Harry faced throughout the seven books, make friends with characters in the lore or any random NPC and they’ll be you’re “Ron and Heromine”

For the duels, it could have been more epic if they did what's in the book, just like Minerva, Filius, Pomona, Horace vs Snape and the Carrows. Or before Bellatrix vs Molly there was a 3(4? I forgot) Hermione, Ginny, Luna vs Bellatrix.
@@thepinoychoppingboard1012 yep. All the girls were fighting Bellatrix. I also wanted to kinda see Harry casting protection spells to everyone under the invisiblity cloak before he went one on one with Voldy and the fact that others took on Voldemort, before Harry himself.
The thing is they took away one of snape's good moments. In the movie there was a death eater on either side of him and McGonagall pushed harry aside and snape reflected McGonagall's spell on the two death eaters to protect them but still not be noticed that was not a mistake. Snape was trying to protect them but in this it looks like he attacked them cause he set the carrows on them

One thing about the harry potter games that I hated was the fact that whenever you do the patronus charm (wether it was this game or harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban) they always made it a ball of light and I hated it. I would have wanted to see a giant stag come out of Harry's wand when he does it. Im hoping that Hogwarts legacy will actually have animals come off the charms and not a damn ball of light.

Flitwick with the solo protega maxima... it's underrated just how powerful the little guy is. I think any of the professors at Hogwarts could've stood their ground against Voldemort (not indefinitely but could definitely slow him) but if prof. Flitwick put forth dedicated effort towards finding a counter, handling dark arts magic would be a trifle matter for the charms gawd

I know I’m a few months old and this might be kind of a big comment to explain but who cares, none of what you guys said is right about what actually happened because the only thing that can make a stupefy get ricocheted is a protego at the first 2 seconds of its animation so it isn’t possible for the door to do have done it. If you throw spells that get too close to Harry he will use protego and for some reason his protego activates one second before the protego animation shows up, since in this level he uses a Protego that’s big enough to protect all students behind him then what happened was that Harry blocked Minerva’s stupefy (because it got close enough to him/one of the students he was protecting) which made it deflect back at Snape when he was 1 hit away from losing (which is why it seemed like it was part of a cutscene for the person playing).
When professor mcongall pushed the tables away and called severus a coward i was like "dammmnnn" lmao

This looks more like Snape protecting Harry and gang from Minerva lol (because of positioning).
I don't like this part very much, Snape is shown here as a full-on villain. While in film he was calm and reflected McGonaggal shots into the Carrows and took their wands before leaving.
Also the crowd of students looks like a mess while in film they were in squares and all had to wear uniform.
And why the hell Carrows hold teachers like hostages?
The Harry's part where he reveals himself is over exagerated, seems a bit fake, and the door behind him had to open and reveal people who helped him all the way through.
His voice makes it worse for me. I know the actor is trying, but, agh…

It looks like the only ones who returned to record any lines for their characters in the game were Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Dave Legeno (Fenrir Greyback), Warwick Davis (Filius Flitwick), Adrian Rawlins (James Potter), Geraldine Somerville (Lily Evans Potter), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).
