I’m sad Reducto is exclusive to enemies, because it was one of the absolute staples in the LEGO games, along with Wingardium Leviosa and X button. Also for anyone 100% the second game, there is a character token you would return to in free play in the level in deathly hallows when you are going to blow up a bridge, you might THINK you need the wall climbing from the Weasley box in free play… but you can just jump off of a bit next to it and get the token immediately…
The basic cast is vermilous, the spell used to shoot red sparks. The hp wiki specifically states “vermilous was a charm that precipitated a jet of red sparks from the tip of the wand, something that might be useful to signal an emergency and call for help. It could also be used offensively as a minor duelling spell, but it was not effective against armoured or metallic opponents.”
One thing to point out, in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, when Gunnar Grimmson kills Irma and Credence releases the obscurus on him, Grimmson makes a protego bubble around him, just like the one in Hogwarts Legacy.
Missed evanesco. The vanishing spell Snape used to make the snake that Draco summoned in Chamber of Secrets disappear. It’s also used in Hogwarts Legacy to remove objects from the room of requirement. 🤓
I also thought that Basic Spell is Stupefy because of its red color. But, I think the developers decided to make Basic Spell without casting it, because of technical perspective. Just like an RPG-Range Combat, it needs a basic attack and special attacks that have a cooldown system to make the game more interesting.
I thought Basic Cast was just Basic Cast, which was kind of in the films, when Harry just waves his wand at Ollivander’s without saying anything and it shoots out force.
Sectumsempra was created by snape many years after hogwarts legacy and arania exime its so useless there are better and more effective ways to kill spiders
I believe that basic attack spell is Flipendo, essentially a knockback jinx that delivers a force or a blow on the target. It was taught to first year students at the beginning of Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Basic cast can be what harry was doing to the locket in the woods when he just kept flicking his wand in Deathly hallows, he got upset and didn't verbalize any spell.
@GM5609 Yeah, I suspect you could think of it as legitimately just being, well, basic magic. Nothing special, just raw magical intents with no added effects. No incantations, just the sort of magic one expects to be discharged when a wand is waved.
Actually Evanesco is the encantation to make objects disappear. Like when Snape casts Vipera Evanesca on that snake Draco conjured in chamber. As for Descendo, it has been changed, before it was spelled "descendio", used to pull things down. This spell is used to open the passage to the candy store on the one-eyed witch statue. Love the analysis
The vanishing spell actually did have an incantation which was “evanesco” and although i don’t recall the conjugating incantation you can find it during Harry potters court hearing in the 5th book
Hermione also used Aresto Momentum in the movies, in OoTP when they were falling inside the ministry after the door to the area of Siriu's death as well as in Gringots when they fell from the cart due to the thieves downfall
Basic cast is Jinx Just like a whip crack like attack, that is shown in almost every movie and is only explained in some games released before the series was completed. I believe 4 or 5 explained it.
The animation for Arresto Momentum in the game looks more like Immobulus imo. Hermione used this spell in the Chamber of Secrets, in the DADA classroom to stop the Cornish Pixies (freshly caught Cornish Pixies!). Levioso should have been Levicorpus. I think the red flash with the Basic Cast might be Vermillious, another spell that was only used in Harry Potter games (like Flipendo). I might be wrong on this. My favorite spell, as a true Harry Potter fan, is Expelliarmus. I wish we could cast the Patronus charm though.. hopefully in a sequel or DLC.
But levicorpus didn’t exist then (unless you watch Supercarlin brothers in which case you could use their argument that Snape only invented liberecorpus
Excellent video! It really tickled my fan boy fancy, thank you! My notes because I'm a Potterhead. Aresto momentum is also cast in the film the Deathly Hallows Part 2 by Hermione in Gringotts at the thieves downfall sequence (you could also argue we see a similar moment when the group fall down to the Archway area in OOTP film - not sure if it's an official cast however). Finite is also used in the game (when Medusa's portrait turns you to stone it is heard being used in the game and Hermione uses it in the film on the rogue bludger in Chamber of Secrets, however they add incantatum. Levicorpus (made by Snape), Wingardium Leviosa, Levioso AND mobiliarus (used in the Prisoner of Azkaban book to move a Christmas tree) are all very similar levitation related spells, it's strange. Evanesco is used by Snape in the Chamber of Secrets film to vanish the snake. I love that the original game created Flipendo, the Philosopher's stone created Lacarnum inflamare, Chamber of Secrets created Finite incantatum. I wonder if there are more I've missed.
Always love to meet a fellow Potterhead! And yeah it’s interesting how there’s a few versions of a levitation spell. It’s almost as if there’s a standard ones that are taught at school, but then there are those that people create on their own
honestly, the basic cast used in Hogwarts legacy reminds me a lot of the form of stupify seen in goblet of fire, when the wizards mistook Harry and his friends for voldemort's loyalist after the death eater attack. A simple burst of red energy emanating from the tip of the wand as a sort of small beam projectile
What about the spell Harry accidentally used in Olivander’s in the first movie? The one that pulled the shelves out was probably accio but what about the one that broke the flower vase? Bombarda? The basic cast in the game has certainly proved useful for breaking many vases in my play through lol.
I love that this game gave a name to the basic cast. In the movies there’s so many moments where characters fight and just fling their wands in the direction of their opponent without saying anything, which results in some damage to the nearby setting or a block by the opponent. I always thought, what spells are they casting? So I love that this game clarifies what they were doing. It also adds a little more to the art of dueling, that you have to contend with blocking and sending out basic casts between more specific spells that could help you win the duel.
Some of my favorite spell combinations are: -Using Levioso on a dugbog to suspend them by their tongue, followed by a Diffindo, which usually kills them instantly, -When fighting a troll, wait for them to slam their club down onto the ground and use Flipendo, making said club hit them in the face, -Use expelliarmus on one of Ranrok's loyalists to make them drop their weapon, followed by ancient magic to yeet it back at them
The visual effect of Crucio in Hogwarts: Legacy made it my favorite spell, and I never had one before. The lightning is so incredibly violent looking, which fits the spell perfectly. I love it so much. The film version was lame.
i really hope the next game is more expansive, its an amazing game and experience but i felt underwhelmed by the spells power and how soon you can pretty much get to full power early on without gear, i feel you should be able to upgrade them past what they offer and after finishing the game imagine going into a bigger world after graduating from hogwarts, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
I think the basic cast is just like a slash. A quick wand flip that can be weak or very strong. Easy to block as well so that's why other more powerful soells are thrown around in major combat.
Hogwarts Legacy 2's endgame could feature more powerful spells like Protego Diabolica and Fiendfyre, alongside advanced potion-making challenges. These additions would make mastering late-game magic feel more authentic and rewarding.
When Harry initially tries to destroy the Locket Horcrux, after saying some spells, he stops saying any spells but is still casting something. That is the Basic Cast. And we saw multiple times in the Battle of Hogwarts spells being fired without saying anything. All were Basic Casts.
@@danyelpeter1376 From my understanding, you have to be quite the experienced wizard to be able to cast without incantations. Dumbledore and Voldemort show this in their duel. Basic cast is, like others have explained, a jinx that likely has no incantation. It's a basic spell that just about anyone can do. That's what we would see in the movies when characters were fighting without saying anything. They were very "basic" spells that didn't seem to have any additional effects like other incantations.
If the sequel to this game has you play as your same character but moving into their next year then I do really hope that we are able to not only get more spells but hopefully more powerful versions of the spells we already know. For example, it would be cool if you could unlock a higher level of spells that requires you to maybe hold the spell for a few seconds to charge it before it unleashes something really massive similar to spells cast by enemies that we fight in the game.
I feel like the "basic cast" just refers to random bits of magic, and it's seen in the books, especially I think in the Weasley household. There's lots of references to Molly flicking her wand at houshold items like dishes or laundry to get chores done. It's also important to remember that magic doesn't come from wands or spells; it comes from the witch or wizard themself, so it makes sense there would be some magic that doesn't fit nearly into a specific spell.
The ring of fire thing that dumbledore does, and the dark wizards of the game do, isnt quite a spell rather an ability. Its actually extremely rare and impressive. Drawing a blank as to what its called, in the books i believe dumbledore and voldemort were the only living people with that ability. Possibly grindelwald too.
basic cast is the one in deathy hallows in the woods when ron and harry start fighting notice how they just fling there wands and dont say anything also difindo is thr games equivalent of scetum sepmra (yes i know its spelled wrong)
I wish in the game arresto momentum was immobulus because in my eyes arresto momentum is very complex magic that can slow down the entire scene, not a spell that freezes the motion of the target
Actually Imperio works as it was supposed to in the films when cast on the Goblins in the bank. It was supposed to be used in conjunction with the cloak of invisibility. As the spell was made by the creator of the cloak, who was also Harry's ancestor - Hence why he had the cloak. So the spell was meant to be used to bring blissful thoughts to the recipient. Not caring what happens around them. As we see in the films. But it also had an unintended side effect - Mind control. It was the side effect that made it unforgivable.
I always just pictured the basic cast as a simpy light damage attack that can be casted non verbally and is one of the first “spells” as student can learn. The only requirement being a bit of focus and intention while flicking the wand at an opponent.
Honestly the game feels empty I mean I love the game and all but my god you literally have no reason to stay in hogwarts considering 95% of the game is outside of the castle not to mention the fact the common rooms are just for decoration you can’t sleep, sit anywhere, talk to anyone besides the ones with actually names and don’t get me started on the night time like where tf does everyone disappear too why aren’t they in their commons rooms sleeping or roaming around the place Plus why isn’t there more mini games like the dueling one i honestly thought if I retrieved all those ball things on higher surfaces it would unlock a new mini game but nooooo I was wrong all you do is just watch as she plays by herself you don’t even get to play you just retrieve and watch or walk away with nothing
Imagine a hard mode of the game where spells actually have a 1:1 effect from books to game. Even stupefy would end up making you lose a fight, BUT if you cast it first, that person is out of the fight. It'd also be exhilarating having to dodge the unforgivables
You mean the Glock 18 then? That's the full auto Glock. The Glock 19 is the compact 9mm model. EDIT: Nevermind, I just looked it up. I hate how that modification looks but it's interesting.
You forgot Alohomora.....! Also I think "Basic Cast" is supposed to be the Tickling Charm used once in the movies, and commonly in the games: Rictosempra. I think because it's such a simple spell, some advanced wizards can cast this spell without saying the incantation, which is exactly what's happening here.
For those that want to try howarst legacy and havent yet or want to do a 2nd play, I recommend 2 mods, higher lvl enemies, this give the enemies from 7 to 15 levers more than you, and the mod called healthier enemies, this give enemies a lot more HP, this make the battles last longer and your spells wont feel broken as in the base game :D ofc play max difficulty to enjoy more
they rlly need to add the patronus charm as an interchangeable spell for all houses, not just hufflepuff. it would make so many more questlines and it would add dementors. you can choose the patronus form. how cool would that be?
Basic cast is like when they use the wand like a gun in the movies (i.e. when Harry and co were being chased by the enemies in the forest in the Deathly Hallows Part 1, and they're just slinging energy at eachother)
Also in Half-Blood Prince, if I recall correctly, when Harry swaps the cover of his new Potions book with that of the Prince's. Followed smoothly by Reparo.
In Deathly Hallows Part 1, when the trio is escaping the Ministry of Magic, the character Yaxley shoots off a spell that I think could be the basic spell in the game. Both are nonverbal, both cause a decent amount of damage when they hit a solid object, and both are used for battle. The only difference is Hogwarts Legacy colors it red while it’s more of a golden color in the film
Know where I remember _Diffindo_ the most from? *_The Chamber of Secrets_* PC game. @@CinematicSeriesGaming interesting 🤔 well maybe the holiday season will make people think of Hogwarts more and bring them back replaying! A DLC could help too!
There you go!
One thing to point out, in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, when Gunnar Grimmson kills Irma and Credence releases the obscurus on him, Grimmson makes a protego bubble around him, just like the one in Hogwarts Legacy.
Ohhh you’re 100% right! I forgot about that
Missed evanesco. The vanishing spell Snape used to make the snake that Draco summoned in Chamber of Secrets disappear. It’s also used in Hogwarts Legacy to remove objects from the room of requirement. 🤓
@@Icehawk41 oh yea 👀
I also thought that Basic Spell is Stupefy because of its red color. But, I think the developers decided to make Basic Spell without casting it, because of technical perspective. Just like an RPG-Range Combat, it needs a basic attack and special attacks that have a cooldown system to make the game more interesting.
Yeah, that makes sense
I thought Basic Cast was just Basic Cast, which was kind of in the films, when Harry just waves his wand at Ollivander’s without saying anything and it shoots out force.
In the Fantastic Beasts trilogy, Protego is used numerous times throughout the films. When it’s used, the caster has a bubble surrounding them.
Spells they should add if there is a dlc should be: sectum sempra, arania exime, and protego diabolica
Sectumsempra was created by snape many years after hogwarts legacy and arania exime its so useless there are better and more effective ways to kill spiders
In any case, "Bombarda" remains my favorite spell throughout the game, and in movies that is simple but an amazing - "Reparo".
Bombarda is so satisfying to cast!
0:16 like a WHAT now?
Lmao immediately went to the comments after I heard that
@@MhartisBalls yo me too lmfao
Dear Benjamin I was literally SO confused and thought that sound was the Moaning Myrthe and not the LUMOS XDDDDD
I believe that basic attack spell is Flipendo, essentially a knockback jinx that delivers a force or a blow on the target. It was taught to first year students at the beginning of Defense Against the Dark Arts.
I would think so too, but Flipendo is already in the game
Basic cast can be what harry was doing to the locket in the woods when he just kept flicking his wand in Deathly hallows, he got upset and didn't verbalize any spell.
@GM5609 Yeah, I suspect you could think of it as legitimately just being, well, basic magic. Nothing special, just raw magical intents with no added effects. No incantations, just the sort of magic one expects to be discharged when a wand is waved.
When Harry duels Malfoy in the second movie and casts "Serpensortia" Snape uses a form of evanesco to make the snake dissappear.
@@florianhuybrechts3862 oh yeah, it was definitely a version of it 🤔
Actually Evanesco is the encantation to make objects disappear. Like when Snape casts Vipera Evanesca on that snake Draco conjured in chamber. As for Descendo, it has been changed, before it was spelled "descendio", used to pull things down. This spell is used to open the passage to the candy store on the one-eyed witch statue.
Love the analysis
I believe the spell for opening the passage was dissendium
@@east5763 oh, you are right haha
The vanishing spell actually did have an incantation which was “evanesco” and although i don’t recall the conjugating incantation you can find it during Harry potters court hearing in the 5th book
Flipendo is there in the books, although the incantation is not present. It's the knockback jinx.
The primary difference between Levioso and Windgardium Leviosa is the fact with Leviosa you had control of the object and Levioso you didnt
Hermione also used Aresto Momentum in the movies, in OoTP when they were falling inside the ministry after the door to the area of Siriu's death as well as in Gringots when they fell from the cart due to the thieves downfall
That too
Basic cast is Jinx
Just like a whip crack like attack, that is shown in almost every movie and is only explained in some games released before the series was completed. I believe 4 or 5 explained it.
Loved the video! exactly what i was looking for 💗💗
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh that’s true! Immobulus does look similar to arresto momentum
But levicorpus didn’t exist then (unless you watch Supercarlin brothers in which case you could use their argument that Snape only invented liberecorpus
This video is so well curated!! Thank 🔥🔥
Thank you!
There's nothing more satisfying than a panic avada kedavra.
Yeah, it does look similar
The spell that dumbledore uses in the cave with the locket is Fiend fire
Yah know the magical combat should have been more destructive in the movies.
And the games fills that
Basic cast - is similar to a basic stunning jinx in the books. They don't exactly show this in any of the films to my recollection
Yeah, that’s what I think it is too
What about the spell Harry accidentally used in Olivander’s in the first movie?
@@AkronSkater13 yeah, it works perfectly
Some of my favorite spell combinations are:
-Using Levioso on a dugbog to suspend them by their tongue, followed by a Diffindo, which usually kills them instantly,
-When fighting a troll, wait for them to slam their club down onto the ground and use Flipendo, making said club hit them in the face,
-Use expelliarmus on one of Ranrok's loyalists to make them drop their weapon, followed by ancient magic to yeet it back at them
The visual effect of Crucio in Hogwarts: Legacy made it my favorite spell, and I never had one before. The lightning is so incredibly violent looking, which fits the spell perfectly. I love it so much. The film version was lame.
It is very satisfying to cast!
Luna Lovegood's patronus was a hare instead of a bunny. Just a correction.
The parts in 4:50, where was that again in the game?
i really hope the next game is more expansive, its an amazing game and experience but i felt underwhelmed by the spells power and how soon you can pretty much get to full power early on without gear, i feel you should be able to upgrade them past what they offer and after finishing the game imagine going into a bigger world after graduating from hogwarts, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
They definitely will expand on everything they’ve built here in the sequel
I think the basic cast is just like a slash. A quick wand flip that can be weak or very strong. Easy to block as well so that's why other more powerful soells are thrown around in major combat.
Yeah, something like that. I thought it was the sparks Harry once tried to make in early years..
th way you struggle to say "visualization" every time is adorable lmao
😅
Hogwarts Legacy 2's endgame could feature more powerful spells like Protego Diabolica and Fiendfyre, alongside advanced potion-making challenges. These additions would make mastering late-game magic feel more authentic and rewarding.
I think Basic cast is some kind of punch spell that is very simple and for which you don't need a formular.
When Harry initially tries to destroy the Locket Horcrux, after saying some spells, he stops saying any spells but is still casting something. That is the Basic Cast. And we saw multiple times in the Battle of Hogwarts spells being fired without saying anything. All were Basic Casts.
Are you sure?I thought it wasn't necessary to always say the words
@@danyelpeter1376 From my understanding, you have to be quite the experienced wizard to be able to cast without incantations. Dumbledore and Voldemort show this in their duel. Basic cast is, like others have explained, a jinx that likely has no incantation. It's a basic spell that just about anyone can do. That's what we would see in the movies when characters were fighting without saying anything. They were very "basic" spells that didn't seem to have any additional effects like other incantations.
Protego could be circle shown in one of the fantastic beast movies
If the sequel to this game has you play as your same character but moving into their next year then I do really hope that we are able to not only get more spells but hopefully more powerful versions of the spells we already know. For example, it would be cool if you could unlock a higher level of spells that requires you to maybe hold the spell for a few seconds to charge it before it unleashes something really massive similar to spells cast by enemies that we fight in the game.
The "basic cast" should be stupefy... Never understood why they choose a basic unknown spell 😭😮💨
Will always be a mystery
honestly, i would like to enjoy to use Immobulus rather than Arresto Momentum and the spells has those same effect
Possibly grindelwald too.
basic cast is the one in deathy hallows in the woods when ron and harry start fighting notice how they just fling there wands and dont say anything also difindo is thr games equivalent of scetum sepmra
(yes i know its spelled wrong)
Ooo yes! That could it! I forgot about that deleted scene
@@BenjaminSnow yeaaa i was aculay watching the deleted scenes when i stumble on your vid and though i should metion it 😁
I wish in the game arresto momentum was immobulus because in my eyes arresto momentum is very complex magic that can slow down the entire scene, not a spell that freezes the motion of the target
or impedimenta maybe
Actually Imperio works as it was supposed to in the films when cast on the Goblins in the bank. It was supposed to be used in conjunction with the cloak of invisibility. As the spell was made by the creator of the cloak, who was also Harry's ancestor - Hence why he had the cloak. So the spell was meant to be used to bring blissful thoughts to the recipient. Not caring what happens around them. As we see in the films. But it also had an unintended side effect - Mind control. It was the side effect that made it unforgivable.
Evanesco is used in "Chamber of Secrets" and in the game as vanishing spell
Oh yeah 🤔
I always just pictured the basic cast as a simpy light damage attack that can be casted non verbally and is one of the first “spells” as student can learn. The only requirement being a bit of focus and intention while flicking the wand at an opponent.
@@strixsoren6847 yeah that’s kind of it
the incantation for the disillusionment charm is Invisiblus, one of the students uses it on a book
@@nervshmrv1245 oh really? 🤔
@@BenjaminSnow yeah he shows off in front of his friend in the game and then his friend uses it on his essay
@@nervshmrv1245 that’s cool
Honestly the game feels empty I mean I love the game and all but my god you literally have no reason to stay in hogwarts considering 95% of the game is outside of the castle not to mention the fact the common rooms are just for decoration you can’t sleep, sit anywhere, talk to anyone besides the ones with actually names and don’t get me started on the night time like where tf does everyone disappear too why aren’t they in their commons rooms sleeping or roaming around the place
Plus why isn’t there more mini games like the dueling one i honestly thought if I retrieved all those ball things on higher surfaces it would unlock a new mini game but nooooo I was wrong all you do is just watch as she plays by herself you don’t even get to play you just retrieve and watch or walk away with nothing
"It simply lights the tip of the wand and works like a flashlight."
I see what you did there
Imagine a hard mode of the game where spells actually have a 1:1 effect from books to game. Even stupefy would end up making you lose a fight, BUT if you cast it first, that person is out of the fight. It'd also be exhilarating having to dodge the unforgivables
Yo I’d love that option! Maybe it could be like an alternative super high difficulty 🤔
I love how many spells you get to shape your playstyle.
Yeah it’s a lot of fun!
I believe the basic cast is supposed to be aronia exuma
favorite spell gotta be
glock 19 with switch fr
You mean the Glock 18 then? That's the full auto Glock. The Glock 19 is the compact 9mm model.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just looked it up. I hate how that modification looks but it's interesting.
You forgot Alohomora.....!
Also I think "Basic Cast" is supposed to be the Tickling Charm used once in the movies, and commonly in the games: Rictosempra. I think because it's such a simple spell, some advanced wizards can cast this spell without saying the incantation, which is exactly what's happening here.
That’s a theory for sure
You can perfectly see an example of the "basic cast" when professor McGonagall attacked Snape in Deathly Hallows 2.
Hmm it was a bit fiery though, more like confringo, but close nevertheless 🤔
Protego Totalus is the accurate name of the Bubble form of Protego. For Hogwarts it was a combo
@@Yozora_Kujo oh interesting 🤔
When you get directions from the book in your hand, it should be your corporal patronous showing you the way. It would be awesome :D
Yeah! That would be cool!
And like with your Wand & House, the form of the Patronus could be determined by what Patronus you get in the Wizarding World website
I think basic cast is supposed to be the nameless spell that you usually see the characters firing at each other during fights.
I actually noticed Bombarda and Diffindo's effects came from the Dumbledore vs Grindlewald fight in fantastic beasts.
Hmm I’ll need to rewatch that 🤔
I think basic cast is the blue nonverbal spell that they spam in combat in the Yates movies
Potentially could be a version of that
For those that want to try howarst legacy and havent yet or want to do a 2nd play, I recommend 2 mods, higher lvl enemies, this give the enemies from 7 to 15 levers more than you, and the mod called healthier enemies, this give enemies a lot more HP, this make the battles last longer and your spells wont feel broken as in the base game :D ofc play max difficulty to enjoy more
they rlly need to add the patronus charm as an interchangeable spell for all houses, not just hufflepuff. it would make so many more questlines and it would add dementors. you can choose the patronus form. how cool would that be?
Totally agree!
Great vid! Currently playing the game!
Noice!
Hogwart legacy such a great game just barly got it and haven't enjoy a like this since gta5 tbh 🔥
Glad you like it
2:58 wait what about the chamber of secrets?
Basic cast is like when they use the wand like a gun in the movies (i.e. when Harry and co were being chased by the enemies in the forest in the Deathly Hallows Part 1, and they're just slinging energy at eachother)
Yeah, that probably the best description and example from the films
I personally think that if a spell is in the game, we should be able to learn it.
True.. fingers crossed the sequel will get many more 🤞
Diffindo was used in the fourth book when Harry cut diggorys bag to talk to him
Also in Half-Blood Prince, if I recall correctly, when Harry swaps the cover of his new Potions book with that of the Prince's. Followed smoothly by Reparo.
the disillusionment charm was used by Fred and Goerge in the order of the phinoex to scare their mom
Lumos works like a fleshlight!?
Haha!
I mean it does
That's what I heard too LOL!
I always thought basic cast has stupefy but this is before I learned that that’s a different spell.
Yeah, it does work in a similar way, but it ain’t that 🤔
btw the first time we heard lumos was in the 1st movie when hermione saves ron from devil's snore
she used the spell "lumos sonar"
In Deathly Hallows Part 1, when the trio is escaping the Ministry of Magic, the character Yaxley shoots off a spell that I think could be the basic spell in the game. Both are nonverbal, both cause a decent amount of damage when they hit a solid object, and both are used for battle. The only difference is Hogwarts Legacy colors it red while it’s more of a golden color in the film
Oh yeah, that’s a good one 🤔
Know where I remember _Diffindo_ the most from? *_The Chamber of Secrets_* PC game. So weird that charm wasn't used in the films until *_Deathly Hallows Part 1._*
Similar case with _Incendio_ being remembered by me the most from _The Sorcerer's Stone_ PC game but wasn't used in the films until *_Deathly Hallows Part 1._*
Yeah it’s kind of odd. I for some reason thought Incendio was used more, but it all was just me thinking about he games all the time
Patronus Charm. I dont know if its in Hogwarts Legacy ( playing for the first time) but its the most difficult spell in Wizarding History so would have been cool to learn this.
I think that basic cast is supposed to be a nonverbal version of Vermillious, which is the red sparks charm. Ofc there’s no way to know this but it would make sense
