I repaired one for a guy. I remember it had the sweetest pure sound. I remember it had huge hollow chambers with, what looked like, masonite top and bottom. Adding a lipstick and filtertrons to my Strat build.
Hi Robert, Baba Emir here. Daniel will be a happy camper. I'm happy for him. I'm enjoying the excitement myself. Back to business. John Mayer's trio on the song: Who did you think I was. The riff's 16th note figure run , and slides are mighty mello. Thanks for taking us on this adventure.
Favorite riff would ABSOLUTELY have to be the very beginning to Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, man, I have never heard anyone replicate it's harsh, dirty, and just all out face melting gnarly-ness. Such a beautiful riff. RIP EVH. Thanks for your contributions to the music world Robert! You're really helping to make this community a better place for all. 🤙

Don't know why but that Danelectro brought an instant smile on my face. I'd like to have it almost as much as watching Robert's agony trying to pronounce my name. I remember one of the first riffs I ever played - "Should I Stay or Should I Go" so it got to be my favorite.
