You changed the settings so many times, Was hoping at the end you would give a recommendation on the final settings.. I7 , RTX 4080, Quest3, Virtual Desktop

      Hi thanks for watching.
It was more to give you an idea of what each setting looks like. Also depending on your rig, will depend on which looks best for you. I need to give it a bit more time to decide on what I prefer
Thanks for watching & commenting. I’ll post some follow up videos soon 😊

What do you think about VR performance in comparison to dirt rally 2.0?

That’s a good question. I’ve not played it enough to be sure but I’d say they’re probably on par. I need a bit more time with WRC to give a clear cut answer
I don’t monitor frame rate etc. I just go on what a game looks & feels like to play. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got it up & running- which took ages btw 😂👴🏻

It looks 1/2 as good as DR2 and doesn't run very good even with a 4090. Been messing around with settings since launch and I'm just about to give up. Hopefully it improves in the next few months.

Thanks for the responses... I think I'll wait... Not that I have a round rim yet since swapping from a t300 😜

@@SCoeSimRacing it’s on sale on steam atm which is why I picked it up but yes I would advise you wait. Hopefully it’ll only get better over time.
Thanks for stopping by, watching & taking the time to comment ✌🏼☺️

@@SCoeSimRacing I didn't give up yet and it's playable for me now. Still doesn't look as good as DR2... If I could get Open XR going again (crashes all the time) I could probably make it better.

Actually I didn't see any difference between hogh and ultra in this video. I have Quest 3, RTX 4080 Super and I7 14700F and it seems so weird blurry etc... I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with my setting or this game VR graphics are just shit. I don't have experiences to compare what is good graphics in VR and which is not. First time in VR.
Oculus Debig tool settings seems to be okey like simracers recommend, Oculus App settings are 90hz and max resolution at 1.5 and game graphic settings are on ULTRA. Some guys tell me that I have too high settings for clear graphics but it's unlogical for me that you have to lower your graphics to get better graphics :D I don't have perfomance issue, I have visual graphics issue. Like lot of pixels and after few meters from car all ground and nature are blurry :(
Maybe someone can give me some advice what to try out ?
Just don't get it I'm doing something wrong or it's just reality with VR and this game.
Another issue for me is that no matter how much I rotate my wheel while I calibrate, settings shows always 180 or 181 degree. For driving it's good feeling and cars don't be lazy but virtual wheel in cockpit view don't match real wheel rotation. It's pretty annoying when you play in VR. If I disable the virtual wheel then I have to zoom cockpit view closer Like I do with my triples but in VR mode there is no this kind of option to change FOV and distance of dash. Some guys tell me that in VR you can change all the same cam positions like on flat screen but I don't know how it works in VR. Shoulf I enable all CAM views in settings and then I can change it ? Because on flat screen there is also two cockpit views and only one of them can change the positions of camera.
    Thanks !

How are you connected to the PC? Wired or wireless?

      Using link cable

@@henryrebane1481 I actually had a similar experience when using the debug tool. Clearly it works because lots of people swear by it but for me it made the road directly in front of me blurry. I’m not experienced enough to give direction but that’s likely your issue. I mostly use virtual desktop which gives me a great result. If I douse the link, I don’t use the debug tool. I need to learn more about it before trying again

garbage compare to DR2. Also VD is better performance wise than Steam Link?

    • @mrmobbs350
      @mrmobbs350  หลายเดือนก่อน

I do prefer the audio & car handling to DR2 but yes I do tend to agree it’s not at the same level. I do really hope EA continue working on this as I’d like alternatives to play
As for VD it’s my preference over steam link. It performed better for me & had more features. However I’ve not used SL for a while now so there’s a chance they have improved things.
Also what works for one, doesn’t always work for all. Just my personal preference
