how was performance in the headset itself? i saw some fram drops during the recording didnt know if it happened in the headset as well, i want to get a bigscreen myself as the Quest 3 isnt very good for stability. thanks for any response :)
Yeah it's weird running the headset in 75hz and recording in 60fps and upsampling to 1440p in post - I didn't see frame drops so hopefully was just the streaming from YT. I like the Beyond... Its very light, it's very crisp, and the microOLED screens are gorgeous. That being said, I think it's a lot of trade off for the money (I had to also buy base stations and knuckles so the $$$ was a LOT to start). Also it takes WAY more cpu/gpu/ram power to run than a quest 3 - but the graphics are way better in the Beyond. So if you have the money and the PC it is worth it I think!
@@nongamerplays yeah money isnt the issue its the performance promise thats concerning me, what pc specs do you have and woulld you say you could get away with worse specs or not? thanks
@wolfgaming5592 I think I need a 4090 to get the most out of it with new games. EA WRC is a mixed bag - sometimes it works, most times it’s too choppy 🤷♂️ AC / DR2 / RBR all work flawlessly. I can play RDR2 max graphics in VR - gta 5 as well. So it should be enough I think! I have: I9 12000k cpu 64GB ddr 5 memory 3090 ROG gpu Nvme gaming drive The tricky part comes in when I’m trying to record same time. Some work well, some get real choppy
Hey awesome thanks for the sub! I appreciate it! I haven’t been able to play DR2 above medium settings in so long! So I’m totally loving Ultra! My VR headset? It’s the Bigscreen Beyond! It’s really good, albeit not sure worth the cost. The customer service has been pretty good (but I’ve had to use it a lot)
