    I will add.....it’s been over a year that I have continued to use this machine and yes I figured out where to hang the cord👍🏻😂 ! It’s so easy to clean after each use and I use it often as I have an older small dog and it cleans up his messes that I don’t notice on the dark carpet. I love this machine, it’s worth the $! And I know cleaning very well because I do in fact do it on a daily basis, having two dogs, two kids, and a husband. Thank you for the kind comments.

    I travel alot for work so my house hasn't been really cleaned in several months. I just received this today and will use to clean my house for the upcoming holidays. I'm curious to see how it performs in my home. Thanks for giving us an honest glimpse of how it performed in yours.

    If you go a bit slower it does a much much better job

    Great carpet tutorial👌 You should go slower on the area rug to make sure it's cleaning it good.

    FYI: I have one & it is GREAT on AREA RUGS, HARD FLOOR SURFACES but DEFINITELY NOT GOOD ON WALL TO WALL CARPET. I have had friends and family ask to borrow mine thinking it’s good for wall to wall carpet but it is NOT a heavy duty carpet cleaner it will just make a mess and cause thicker carpets to get soaking wet & smelly. My cousin borrowed mine & didn’t tell me she was using it on her bedroom carpet and she ruined her carpet because the excess water got trapped & caused mold so she had to get all new carpet

    There is a "c" form on the back of the handle which will hold the cord up ( out of the way). Be well!

      I was about to comment about the cord holder. I’m debating if I should return my carpet cleaner I got. I only have area rugs and they’re low pile rugs. I tried it on the area rug I have near the front door and it came out looking new . Would you recommend returning the carpet cleaner or keeping it? The crosswave does a good job it’s day 3 for me owning it. I had a Hoover floormate but it was heavier and not even a month and the solution was spraying on the floor and out the back so I returned it.

      @@davidarmstrong1421 It's me again. I'd keep the carpet cleaner. The Crosswave doesn't really replace what a designated carpet cleaning machine is designed to do.

      Ken Belmont thank you for your response but I already returned the carpet cleaner. I have very low pile area rugs only and the crosswave cleans them to like new. I already tested it on one of my area rugs what had a stain and it got it so clean it looks new but I also purchased the area rug brush for my crosswave and it’s amazing.

      @@davidarmstrong1421 Nice. Yes, I'm considering to get the area rug brush roll for the Crosswave. I think you're right. It will do better on a low pile carpet.

      Ken Belmont I got mine from amazon but buy the genuine Bissell brush as the knock offs could strip the brush roller mechanism.

    Thanks for the review. I just ordered the Pet pro. How is yours holding up? I do like that it has a 3 year warranty too.

    Slow down. You’re going way too fast.

    I think you did too fast on the rug. Thank you for sharing

      It also helps a lot if the rug is vacuum before using the water. You'll see better results, plus of course slow down a little.

    what about performance on dry use on the carpets and rug? how long does it take to dry again for the carpets?

    • @jamieleatipton7575
      @jamieleatipton7575 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t use it for dry use only! This is mainly used for washing my floors and small area carpet use. You don’t want to use it on installed carpeted area! It doesn’t have the built in suction for that when using water. It takes a couple hours to dry on area rugs.

    Do you change the brush before you switch to carpet?

    • @confessionsofadomesticengi68
      @confessionsofadomesticengi68  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope! There’s a switch that you will use to either wash floor or area carpet. It adjusts the brush. You will change out the brush as it gets older or if you want one for just the floor and one for just the area carpets then that’s an option you choose on your own.

    Is that slate tile floor? I am trying to find out how this goes on slate tiles which are not as smooth as porcelain tiles and look similar to your floor.

    • @confessionsofadomesticengi68
      @confessionsofadomesticengi68  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s actually tile! But I do have a River rock floor in my bathroom and it still works great!
      I don’t see why it wouldn’t clean a slate floor! I’m enjoying this cleaner very much!

    What can I do for my dirty water isn’t going into the dirty water tank!

    • @confessionsofadomesticengi68
      @confessionsofadomesticengi68  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      🤔make sure you press the clean water disbursement bottom on the handle so there’s water to suction up from the area carpet. Perhaps something is stuck in the hose. I haven’t had this problem so I’m sorry I can’t help you.

  • @kae587
    @kae587 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How wet does it make the carpet ? Does it seep all the way through ? I’m just worried about how long it’ll take to dry and it getting my wood floors wet

    • @confessionsofadomesticengi68
      @confessionsofadomesticengi68  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not too wet at all as the suction works great. I have wood floors also and leave the area rugs in place to dry. It takes maybe an hour depending on the thickness. It also depends on how much water you dispense as you suction. I love this cleaner! So easy to clean too!
