Had my Crosswave for almost 2 years and LOVE it
Do I need vacuum with it for my carpets everyday cleaning Or it is enough
This is a machine that does a good job on a dirty hard floor, would not be without it in our house we share with 5 dogs! Agree the main niggle is that it does not clean right to the edge. I am sure that the clever people at Bissell could redesign the cleaning head, after all the Karcher cleaner does get to the edges.
I guess I'm going to be the grinch. We bought the Crosswave primarily to deal with pet issues - from spills to puddles. Spills on hardwood are no problem, but although it does a creditable job of extracting urine from carpets there is a high price to pay. The urine effectively contaminates every inch of the wastewater path. The brush and wastewater container are not awful (although the inevitable dog hair mixed in makes it a task) but there is an enclosed hose from the brush to the wastewater container that is not readily cleaned. As a result, using the machine after the first urine cleanup filled the room with stale urine smell.
We still use it (when necessary) for non-urine spills on our new LVP floor, but there is a lingering odor after all these years.
Love the crosswave pet! Ive been using it all over, like crazy on carpet and hard wood floors plus linoleum/vinyl! Does such a great job and I would definitely try the other brush rolls In the future
Can you clear the brush with Clorox?
Are you using it on a whole carpet or area rug?
They work great. Of course they say it’s self cleaning. Maybe the roller is. You still have to take the tank out and empty it/rinse it out and the filter. Only takes a few minutes though. Totally recommend this unit. They are awesome!!!! Expensive but awesome!!!

Amazing product!! I absolutely love using this bissell crosswave!! Makes my life so much easier being a gardener and having a frenchie that loves to dart around the backyard. We just bought our first house and I can't wait to use it!! I know it's already going to make cleaning so much quicker and easier.

A LOT MORE AFFORDABLE than the KIRBY vacuum cleaners I sold
briefly in Springfield, Missouri, back in the 1980s. What a horrible company! I quit that job because Kirby used unethical hard sell practices that utterly disrespected their customers.

I went to buy a mop and bought this instead. (Cordless version of it) and never been happier. Saved a lot of effort even on bathroom tiles and shower. But it didn't get all the soap scum in the shower. Maybe I need to do it a couple more times? And it can't get the edges so I had to manually clean with hand. But otherwise it saved me a ton load of backache! Worth every cent.
It;s not a shower cleaner.
@@DrinkWhiskeyRaiseHell its a multi surface cleaner, which includes tiles for bathrooms and showers. And I'm not saying it doesn't clean it, it does clean, but it struggles with any area which may have soap scum.. shower or not.
@@Mudassar_Khan This is a powered mop. not a bathroom scrubber. where does it advertise it was for use for soapscum or showers? its for tile floor, not shower tile.
@@DrinkWhiskeyRaiseHell fair enough. Anyway, after a bit more usage, I found it very useful in the shower tiles. As long as you first get rid of the soap scum initially with a scrubber, then do a daily clean with this powered mop, it keeps it clean and free from soap scum. Its a great daily maintenance mop for bathroom area.

I’d like to see it clean up litter, my long hair cats leave litter around when they leave the litter box.it gets caught in the squeegee and drags a gray film. I clean it out as I’m cleaning the floor but I do like it. I feel I am somehow doing something wrong

can it work on low shag carpet?
Just got one for $119 at Ollie's! Our floormate just stopped turning on and we have pets. The floor never feels as clean with just mopping.
I still sweep before I use it. The first thing it did was clog up on pet hair.

I think he wasn't pressing the same button again. If you have it set to rug and then you press floor it just switches modes. You have to press the same mode again.
Is this good for a floor that has been waxed?

He should have hooked the cord up to the holder under the handle. To convince folks that he has actually used the machine. By the way, it is a great machine!

Absolutely horrible. I clean offices and my boss bought these Crosswaves. They do a horrible job cleaning surfaces that have dried, crusty gunk that's been sitting all day long. I'm going to stick to manual mopping.

Yes it works great, great for daily cleaning, like a quick clean carpet cleaner, great for day to day maintenance, I don't think it will replace your carpet extractor though

Yes. You can use any cleaner except dishwasher soap because it makes bubbles

Question to anyone, Must the trigger, be on the entire time you are working on floors, I understand about the carpet
Bunnie Jatkowski You just press the power button once & it stays on until you turn it off. It has a hard floor button or a carpet button.
Bunnie Jatkowski The washing solution comes out when you squeeze the trigger. You have to hold the trigger the whole time you want solution to be coming out. That trigger is separate from the on/power buttons. Those buttons are on top & the trigger is inside the handle where your pointer finger will rest.
I have the same question. I understand where the buttons are but do you press down on the solution button the entire time you’re cleaning your floors? Or only on certain areas that are very grimy.

Just change filter, it has auto shut off if filter is to dirty
