So is this like the free videos you upload but a more refined and advanced way? and will there be a dodge and sliping system for the free one or is that only in the patreon package
Yes this is slightly more advanced and polished! And yes there will be both a dodge and slip system in the free version that’ll be the next tutorial I do!
@@MrKnowBodyUE5 alright. I will explore into that and see, cause I mean, its kinda weird the legs and hands keep passing through the enemy's body, yet our sound implies a contact/collision. Thanks for responding.
It looks broken lol I wanna start learning from you but after I watch your final stuff it’s bad bro but your better animation is good and I wish you could show that instead of existing one
It only looks broken because the animations in the Patreon version are using free animations as I don’t have the right to sell other people’s animations. Which also means the root motion is pretty bad
It’s nothing too difficult however I would recommend following the tutorial if you’re wanting this to work with ALS as you’ll understand how everything works much better. However if you’re already good with blueprints you’ll be able to integrate it no problem.
I don't know how I feel about how much the character is sliding around during animations. kinda looks like ass, would be more acceptable to miss your hit
I’m not sure which part of the video you are referring to, this could be due to animations or if your referring to the motion warping that’s just the style of combat in some games for example Batman Arkham series does a lot of “sliding combat”
@@MrKnowBodyUE5 I supposed a control rig could be added to make them take steps during motion over determined distances to really polish it. Just though of that now as well. But yes it's the motion warping, things just don't move like that
Yeah a control rig should do the job, it all depends what style your going for combat wise. The style I went for was quite animated and unrealistic anyways but if your wanting to do a realistic style then your right things should not move like that lol
@@MrKnowBodyUE5 Either way this is fantastic stuff, I'm still using a very large portion of what's here. Will share what I've made with you at some point as this was a great foundation series for some combat systems.
Def wanna try using this tutorial for a fighting game
Great!
hey good to see you are still active👋
Hey!
this is really good. i will def follow the tutorials whenever i plan to add combat to my game!
That’s great to hear!!
looking great brother!
Much appreciated
Wohoo! This looks good!
Thanks man! Your project lookin good too!
i really like this considering getting the patreon but can you make that slipping system a little more fluid? i love it though!
Brother, i noticed that the unreal mannequin was shaking in its idle position
Could you give me the time at what that happens lol?
@@MrKnowBodyUE5 right at the beginning of the video: 0:04
Its not very noticeable though
That's just an idle anim
@@chirayugupta7698 yes thats an idle animation, but if u see closely the characters upper body shakes with a high frequency
Ah this is because there really bad Mixamo animations I had to use because I can’t release it with the ones I bought off of the marketplace!
Awesome 👏
Thanks!
Nice video , Can you add Network Replicated?
Sadly I cannot as I’m not that experienced in that and it would probably be quite a long series. Sorry for that.

@@MrKnowBodyUE5 Alright, thanks man. You do such a great job on these videos and explaining : )
could we add collision to the character so the hands or legs of the enemy does not pass through our body and vice versa, thanks ?
Hmmm… I’m not sure if collision would work. You might be able to use some sort of ik system though.

@@udoma8 Yeah I agree it is a bit strange and not very immersive, I may also have a look at what can be done.

So i can get this on your patreon for $5? How easy is it to integrate into ALS?

So theres a ALS tutorial merge? @@MrKnowBodyUE5
animations are so bad, and why there is no enemy patrolling?
Enemy patrolling isn’t really important as this isn’t an ai tutorial and is a combat tutorial
