We agree. He has a very relaxing and calm demeanor. Yes, this interview was "hard," because of how similar it is to our personal tragic story. Thank you for your support. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Scott is incredibly articulate in the telling of his story about the death of his little boy Keaton, and how he has processed and managed this profound loss. His words, reflection and wisdom are profound- that he has been living through the pain of losing Keaton, not getting over it.
Yes, he is very articulate and able to convey his thoughts with ease. Good catch on what he communicated, "Living THROUGH the pain." There are some nuggets of truth in this podcast, along with principles to overcome life struggles. Thank you for your support of the podcast. Hope you have a wonderful night.
We agree! Thank you for your comment. We are glad you got value from this interview, because we also got value from it. He was a great person to talk with. It was great to get his perspective of his journey.
I'm so glad this morning again that I found out of this podcast, where we can confidently share our painful experiences, Thank you Scott for sharing your journey with us, I can so much relate to so many of your experiences, I thought it was only me but I see now that we have so much in common. First off I'm so sorry for your loss, but here we are together where we never did choose to be. We are new in our journey of pain almost one year now, But I find that me and my wife are grieving different, I'm the one watching this podcast testimony s ,an it so helpful for my healing, But my wife is more into watching movies to distrec and find her way through, We're watching in different rooms because we have that so different. But at end of the day we two are the only people that can feel the deepest pain that none else will.
Love you guys! Yes, as you can witness, your experience differs from your wife's. However, you are both unique in that you are both Megan's parents. We continue to pray for you. God Bless.
Blake and his wife can COMPLETELY relate, as they sort of had the same thing happen with Sunny. Makes me so sad that another family has gone through this
The force is strong with this one... Glad this video had an impact on you and that you are saving it to listen later. Thank you for your support. Have a great night.
What u said about ‘how could everyone else’s world continue turning when mine had stopped’ resonated so acutely with me. A few weeks after my son died I was in the car with a friend. She was driving and there was this incredibly beautiful sunset in front of us. I began to cry….how could the Lord create such beauty and majesty? Didn’t He know that my child was dead? How can both exist at the same time? I’ll never forget that moment. It was so profound…..my complete emptiness and the fact that life around me truly didn’t miss a beat. It just continued on.
Yes, how could there be such beauty and tragedy at the same time. One thing that will press forward no matter what is TIME. That clock will keep ticking. We are sorry that you have experienced a loss, and we find joy that these podcasts are helping you in some way. We pray for you. God Bless.
What a wonderful interview. And a story of grief transformed. I learned a lot from this. Loved his thoughts on the importance of fully opening to our experiences, no matter how terrifying the feelings can seem. So good. This is hard earned wisdom. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for commenting. We are glad that this interview had an impact on your life. We are glad you learned some things from it. Yes, he has an interesting perspective on opening to our experiences. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a blessed day.
This podcast/TH-cam channel should have way more subscribers by now. Unless ppl dont want to hear constant tragedy's in every episode i cant understand its such a great channel.
Thank you for your support and thoughts of our Channel. Yes, I can understand if people don't always want a "tragic story" with each video. There are many principles we can all learn from these stories. We do intend to have a variety of guests on the podcast, including experts in different fields (including EMDR, Psychology, Therapy, etc.) Thank you for showing your support by continuing to watch and comment on our videos. Hope you have a wonderful day today.
We have little worried all the time. As someone either anxiety, and a medically complex kiddo, you can’t listen to every guy worry or bad feeling or you’ll never leave the house. Listen to the big ones. But you still have to live. Praying god eases your burden and grief. God bless
Yes, it's hard to know what "feelings" to follow and which ones are fostered from anxiety. You are right, we must live. Thank you for your prayers, hope you have a wonderful night.
My daughter, age 44, died in her sleep 44 days ago. I still cannot grasp the loss. It is so hard to "be normal". I know we will be together again yet the pain of the loss is still there.
We are so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing some of your story. What we have found out talking with so many people is, it doesn't matter what age it happens at, losing a child is very difficult. Yes, the pain is real and still there. We are sorry 😢
My sister died as an adult and it was if the loss was all that mattered to my parents. Almost as if the living kids did not matter. I then realized that the pain was so overwhelming that all my parent's could think about was their loss. We did matter, but the loss mattered most.
Think i will look into somatic therapy when i suffer from really debilitating anxiety and depression, it was not only mind suffering but body too i was completely paralysed to life i spent so much money trying to get help from physciatrists but a lot of what i was experiencing comes on due to how you experiencing lifes challenges if i could have been aware of body and mind and caught myself before i got bad i might have broken the cycle love this interview im very spiritual too i believe we only see 👀 a small amount of real lifexx
We are glad this podcast had an impact on you. We hope to showcase many different avenues for healing and coping with anxiety, depression and loss. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Have a wonderful night.
The hosts of this podcast might want to connect with parents who are experiencing what the Mama host is feeling. This guest- now a clinical psychology student is in a very different place in his journey. That’s great but let’s honor this Mom’s feelings, too.
Thank you for your perspective and for taking the time to share it. Camille connected with Scott and invited him to share his story on the podcast. Our whole goal is to give many different perspectives from different people at different points in their healing journey. Thank you for your feedback. We will take this into consideration as we locate future guests for the podcast.
I’m confused by your comment. Are you saying Camille needs to connect with someone or the mom of sweet Keaton needs to connect either Camille? Whose momma’s feelings are you referring to?
@createconsiderconnect3356 Yes, it took me a couple times reading the comment and rereading the comment to decipher it. I still have the question you have, but I took it as the Moma Host being Camille. Hopefully, @yoohoo614 can add some clarity for us. Thank you for asking the question.
That was a hard watch .My heart went out to you all especially Camille. You are all amazing people, the strength you all to keep fighting is truly inspiring.love to you all❤️
