That was awesome. I loved how you changed the rod without taking off the head, I didn't know it'd be that simple. The stock head on my motor is stuck on here. even my drill can't get it off and I stopped upgrading my bike. Because of it. But I can definitely get that billet rod now and that fire cam too. I have a Hot 265 but broke it by putting it in a stock setup motor and the first sign I got something was wrong was the bike slowed down dramatically and the stock muffler turned orange 😂when I took the hot 265 cam out it had scratches over it and It was faster for a little bit. Also thanks for showing us how to take off the billet flywheel the proper way without beating it to death with a crowbar. Before this video I was just going to buy a whole other billet flywheel just because I didn't want to crack it trying to pull it off. This is an early Christmas gift for me thank you so much I can't wait🥳😎
I know this is pretty old but I have a Tillotson 212 with 1.2 rockers and ported hemi head. Im running the hot 265 and my fire is due to my door any day. I'll let ya know what I think.
Hey good stuff Brotha! I appreciate the videos. I do have to ask why everyone keeps up with these different 265 cams.. I’m trying to tell you all the 285 cam is only .020 more lift but it’s absolutely insane duration. To the point that it’s almost square nosed because the lift and duration are almost the same number. 285/260 get your 260 Duration and let’s see what these bikes do then
Ok let’s do this.. take your 263, stick the 285 in it and match it with some 1.2s or something and put a tall ass gear on it and let us all see some speed trials. I’ll bet your top speed is somewhere in the range of absolute rude.😂🫡
Bro you’re gonna have to start selling some of these soon.. seriously how can you possibly continue without? Obviously I’m not even telling you what to do BUT you could with your reputation sell pre built projects purely based on what people know about your “brand” if you will. Make some $$$ and some space for a new beast
What’s crazy is even the 356 cam is only 240 duration… I’m convinced that if you have a heavily upgraded head the best thing to do is 285 cam with 1.35 ratio black venoms. That gets you just under 385 lift with a 260 duration and that’s where your long power bands come from. High lift power is nice but if it’s a quick cute little power band what’s the point, ya dig? I know I’m beating this into the ground but I can’t help it because Iv been doing tons of homework on cams and the fact that GPS just force feeds 265 cams to every package is just crazy to me. They need to make the cruiser kit a fire 265 and the racer kit a multi option cam. That way people who go hard don’t have to buy that expensive kit and buy an extra cam for $100. If I wasn’t so lucky to have the career I do I wouldn’t even be able to afford all these upgrades but I still have limits and a wife who sees no value in my murdercycle 😂😂… Aside from know what’s on my mind all the time and knowing there isn’t another “Her”… I’m just cheating with HP 😂😂
My 263 works really well with a 308 cam and plain ol shaft mounted 1.1 ratio rockers. That thing has such a great flowing head it makes power from way down low all he way up through the RPM band. Its a great combo! The bore size with the evolution head help out a lot. You can see it in the GPS 180 video. That thing had plenty of low end torque and power even with its tall gearing. I'll keep trying different cams and combos in the future . Cheating with HP LOL
I think It really depends on how clean you keep the oil but I know folks that replace them every 5 or 6 races . But for the average minibike riding on the street I have used them for years at a time.
I see that you have clutches on most your toys. Do you like them more than torque converters? And what reason? Building a stage 2 predator and am wondering what you suggest. It will probably go on my coleman200 which I installed a torque converter but sometimes is slippy and finicky
I usually run a clutch on the smaller bikes because they are lighter and usually run smaller wheels and tires. The clutch is simple. For the heavier big bikes, I will usually run a torque converter with a juggernaut driver. With their variable ratio, they get the big bikes up to speed quicker and they last longer than a clutch. I have run a clutch on the big bikes for all out top speed but it's much harder on the clutch with the big tire and weight of the big bikes.
Got a question what cam will fit a non hemi predator i got the 265 hot cam bt it isnt fitting right super loose everyone keeps saying its the right cam
Hello, I have a COUPLE 200UEX mini bike I have built my 212 engine. With all billet parts 32 lb. Springs, chrome olly pushrods, billet rockers, 265 cam, pvl flywheel, Billet rod, 26mm Mikuni, 6° advanced flywheel key, But I can only get 46mph out of it. Do you have any ideas on how I can hit 60+mph. Plz advise. Thank you 🏍️💨💨💨💨
Yeah see I went on GPS and confirmed that the fire 265 is only 245 duration. That gives it some ability to run dual springs and it’s about the same ratio as the 285/260 cam but it’s not because if it was I would be watching your bike put shame to many….not mine but you know, less cool people 😁….As will mine😆 don’t waste time on Hot 265 it even less duration it’s 226intake 236 exhaust… get that 285 and make me proud 🫡

Wake That BEAST up 💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨 dope skully ✨️
That bike is simply awesome and from the sound you can hear the power in the rpms as it gets to the sweet spot after the upgrades.

Awesome! Happy the video helped you out. Thanks for watching therm. 👍👍
Amazing how easy you make everything look. Love the bike love the video keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍
Thumbs up! You should do a leader board with the top 10 combos including a few budget engines!
Good idea!
Yes! Good idea 😉
I am currently running the Hot 265 cam but kept debating on getting the Fire 265. I look forward to seeing it tested too

@Cereal_Killr how did the fire compare to the hot cam
Badass video!! Good job
Great video! I’m always curious how different cams perform against each other.
Great Video !

I hear ya, I figured I would test the 265 . It was meant for a different project but never made it.

The 263 is running a bigger cam . I will do some speed trials with it on the new bike that I'm building. @@RaceReady2A
That’s awesome. I like the sound of new projects… 😎

Would like to see that fire 265 cam paired up with the predator 212 hemi
I have a few Hemi videos on the channel . Check out the CC100x Predator 212 playlist and other playlist. th-cam.com/video/z5_0F4tSO5M/w-d-xo.html
I got a br200 what carburetor would fit on it, and also how do I remove the governor?
How long do the arc bearing inserts usually last in an application like this?

@@Black66 thank you very much
Hi David, quick question, what oil do you like to use for reassembling your engines?
What went wrong with your camera...john...Australia
Not sure. It lost the video feed for some reason. Or maybe it was in the video editing software. I guess I'll find out in upcoming videos.

Wrong cam you have a hemi cam in a non hemi motor
💯💯💯💯
Isn’t the Gov gear needed to control side play on the crank ?
No sir. You can add shims on the crank to control side to side movement.
??Why do the cam lobes on my my hot 265 look smaller then my stock cam lobes???
Re up? 😮
Had to fix the ending . There were parts not showing video only audio.
@@Black66 oh ok. I just thought it was you tube 😂😂 I just watch through them

You should check out his Coleman bike videos. Chances are that your issue is gearing.
Yes i agree, he's got a video changing rear sprocket on a coleman mini bike. I personally test road it before and after and it definitely was faster.

It’s a hemi so he can go much higher on lift !
That’s about the only benefit to the hemi’s imo !
