I can't stop listening to Zlatopolsky's D1s at 6:53 and 7:03, they're just so awesome and the gentle choir only makes them better. Sounds like something echoing through the Mines of Moria.
@@AlyoshaBelushin4444, I'm being hyperbolic. I am a trained basso profundo, with my lowest chest note being an E1 and down to C#2 in fortissimo (cannot get to that C2 in fortissimo many Oktavists are known for). I found I suck at opera, so now I just do choral music from time-to-time.
@@r1p2m32kurt moll, the opera singer at the beginning, has a super full voice. Opera doesnt have the same resonance as a church, so singing a C2 is CRAZY impressive. Hes been said to have a strong voice down to E1, and he taught vladimir miller for a while.
Zlatopolski's vocal range is from A0 to F4, what do you expect? Of course his photo is everywhere. And yes, his voice is scarier and more monstrous than Pasjukov's, believe me or not, because Zlatopolski/Zlatopolsky had an interview where he talks like a monster from another planet, his natural voice in dialogues is much lower than any other octavist's.
Why do you think he's not the best? Of course, it seems to me that the Russian singer Mikhail Zlatopolsky is a real bass with a powerful voice, but Geoff is in second place for me in terms of power and fullness of low notes. Although Geoff said that he does not consider himself a real bass, but his voice is very beautiful, every note of it is clearly audible and he can sing high notes as well as low ones
Whats my Voice type my chest voice goes from Low Bb1 To High F#4 i think was Bass-Baritone but whats Bass-Baritone i am Lyric Bass-Baritone or Dramatic Bass-Baritone because i can hit Bb1 and F#4 easy but i sounds thickness and a combination of Light and Thickness deep??? Whats my voice type pls😢?
In 1:29 you have ivan rebroff and the oktavist on the back doin the b1, but theres a version of the same song were ivan himself did the b1, and its incredible. Here it is : th-cam.com/video/aWqe2ZCfp_k/w-d-xo.html
Pasjukov sounds like he's Treebeard rousing the Ents into battle.
Pasyukov. The most true, the most full , the most effective and loudest.
Great to see bass2yang on the thumbnail there :)

Being good to a strong A1, I will go hide now, lol. These are some insane bass singers.
A1 is incredible as well

@@johndeeregreen4592what do you mean? how can this be trained?
@@17ischaemia, in reality, only part of this can be trained. You do need a deep voice naturally.

This one's my favorite. Sounds so majestic and powerful, it's insane.

Pasyukov will always be the most resonant and scary voice
I must agree, having listened to most of oktavists. Fullness: Zlatopolsky, Pasjukov. After them, who? (American mic-'singers': forget in shame.)

4:21 I knew it that is probably my favourtite G1 from geoff!
Zlatopolsky and Glen Miller in my opinion are the fathers of Oktavism
@TheDevilishSmile no. He is oktavist. He can reach to B0.

Jesus Glenn miller has such a loud G wtf?
Yeah he's a beast
I know he's not the best, but something about Geoffs voice is just so special. He'll never not be my favorite.

Great video!

Geoff Chest register sounds a lot different to all the others im always not sure if its mixxed or nah
That is pure chest he just won the genetic lottery to have that tipe of low notes cuz F#1 sounded so rough but buttery smooth!
I think his is strohbass. He has gone very low in a pure chest voice but I think for a lot of his lows are strohbass for that extra power
@@dominiccastles5450 Geoff doesn't use strohbass he said that himself
@Hunt3rPLAYZ Nah, Kargyraa has a pretty different sound than that. He’s just got a very thick/dark lower end.
@Hunt3rPLAYZ He used regular true vocal fold subharmonics. No involvement of false folds.
