    Great video! Especially since the kit doesn't come with instructions. I remove the front bucket fairly often on my 1025 and always hated the placement of the hose connections. This setup is so much easier.

      A couple questins, if you be so kind to awnser please! I noticed that the original bolts( Stock Bolts) that you removed have a nut shape neck, so it secured to the tractor frame, eliminating the need of using wrench inside. Why JD does not supply a same shape bolt, just longer? The new ones had treads all through the end, making room for future movements and coming loose. Also, only JD sales this kit? By the way, kudos to you, great video, not at speedy Gonzales, as many videos on the green tractors, too busy selling products, 😂. Great and clean job, and a very clean shop! I want to install this kit on my recently purchased 2019 1025R. Already boutique a seat cover, a step bracket.

    Great video! I am going to get a new 1025r that actually comes standard with the single point connector now. One question about something I noticed. When you were showing the single point in action, I notice you left the tractor running when you connected/disconnected it? Is that an added benefit of the larger connector is that you don’t have to shut the tractor off and wiggle the joystick to release the pressure?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kyle.. Thanks for stopping by the channel.👍🏼 Congrats on the new 1025r you’re getting. You’ll love it, it’s a great little tractor. To answer your question, You’re Correct… One of the best things with having the single point connection is you don’t have to shut the tractor off to swap attachments.. Before installing the single point I’d have to shut the tractor off and wiggle the joystick to relieve pressure so I could unhook those four connections. Then if I unhooked the loader outside in the sun where the lines would build up pressure from the heat, then I couldn’t get the connections back on without pushing in the center to relieve pressure off the hose. It was so frustrating and I hated it. The money the single point cost was well worth the ease of use and no frustration. Take Care and enjoy that tractor 🤙🏼

    Did you use the extra washers that came with the kit to space out the new bracket so the side panel has more room to slide off?

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey JM, Thanks for stopping by to check out the channel. No I didn’t. I don’t believe it showed in the directions to add them behind the bracket to shim it out. I don’t like stacking washers to make a shim. If I was going to move the bracket out I would just buy one specific thickness spacer like a 1/4” spacer from McMaster Carr and just add one spacer per bolt to move it out. Would just have to make sure there’s enough thread for the nut to go on before deciding how thick to make the spacer. I agree the bracket is a little close to the side panel but as long as the rubber trim is on the bracket it doesn’t hurt the panel. If I was constantly removing the panel I would look into it more. Take Care. 👍🏼

      Hey Davis, Thanks for stopping by the channel. My Tractor doesn’t have a mid mount mower so I will only be able to venture a guess on this question and only assume it would be no different than my snowblower. I will be doing another video soon on what will need to be done to make my snowblower use the single point once I converted it over to single point. Hey Ruben, If you're referring to Part# BW16970 , that single point is different than the one I installed on my 1025r
      The 16970 is for use with model year 2017 and newer NSL 220R Loader on 2032R and 2038R Tractors

      @@SometimeIsNow thank you for the info. My 1025R is a 2017, so it's older then the 2017, thus i don't think the part number that works for the 2017 or newer will work on mine. I need to find what single point connection will work on my tractor, i am probably asking for too much by wanting a single point hydraulic hook up connection for three lines. Do you think i should try to have on fabricated?

      @@rubenlao378 I've seen single point connections that were specifically for the much larger tractors with 3 functions, but never on a 1000 series sub compact.

    After watch the whole video, and listening to you mentioned the wrench sizes, it dawn on me, that what JD is doing is trying to please the EU and Americans, MM & Stand. For the heck of my boots, couldn't they make things simpler? Choose one or other? Its US tractor right? Even though I grow up using mm, and think its the best, simpler way to memorize, but now living here, English is the language, press 1, 😂. Soon it will be ; Press 2 option. 🤣🤣
