Thanks Bobby for taking the time to make a video at this race, I loved racing at Farmington that’s a great track great people
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful.. Just close my eye's and taken back to the late 60's early 70s in southern Michigan when Dad and Mom raced our family car a 68 Road Runner... Thanks
Loved that Tasca Mustang !
Super coverage. Nothing like "three pedal" racing. NHRA Modified Production flashbacks.
Such a cool event!
Great video! Really enjoyed that. Hope someday the Hot Rod reunion and this race are not on the same weekend as I'd love to come race this event.
Hope to see you there next year.
Nobody was better with a clutch and competion plus shifter than Ronnie Sox!
Racing how it should be… three pedals!
The Tasca car in the beginning is not a Mustang it is 1979 Mercury Capri my brother use to race at epping when he was there years ago and for putting a Ford engine in a Chevy the the only way to make run better
Looked like the Tasca Mustang broke during the burnout.
great job bobby do you what caused the vette to crash ? any update on you s/s car ?
I'm old skool and i personally think shifting is the true drag race, these drag racers today have the computer doing 98% of the work, from traction control to shifting. its not about the quickest guy anymore, its who can program better.
This race was no box I believe.
Great video.
Thanks!
👍🏁🏁👍
30 min of video and only 4 min. Of dragracing Come on now?
We want more racing YEA! Interviews ok? But more racing.
Stick Shifts for Life!!!

This is 1/8th Mile..!!..
Does anyone run a h pattern shifter??
Sad to see hardly anybody in the stands. Price of living drove people away. Only the folks that are drag racing are the people there. In the 60s you have a hard time finding a seat. Some people had to stand the whole race. Also 1/4 mile racing is better. I did 1/8 mile one time. Hated it never went back when they did that again.
Shame they're only doing 8th mile
Always been my thoughts too. Should b only 1/4 mile tracks...... that's what made this sport.
I see we got some real die hard Dragracing fans here, my Dad & I use to drive an extra hour to go see good 1/4mile Dragracing back in the late 90’s & early 2000’s…..we lived near two 1/8th mile tracks but it was never a second thought to drive that extra hour to see 1/4mile racing.
Leroy is going to stick it to the posers next year 😮
Saw about 4 Goats in the staging lanes, and not one make a pass. Amazingly, lots of "chevy" coverage. Who-da-thunk
I see a GTO go downtrack towards the end.
@@driverinterviews Now that you say that, I see that 65 too. Thanks for replying. I apologize
Don't understand why you had to turn away every run just as the times came on?
I hope you did not move down here.
Why would someone put a Ford engine in a old Chevy? I will never understand it.
Does seem like blasphemy. But a VW Beetle has had a 327 n it...... that's very interesting to see & watch.
How about a Dodge hemi with a Chevy powerglide and Ford Mustang ll rack & pinion with a 9 inch rear end installed in a 70's AMC Gremlin. Now that should piss-off any American muscle car lover purist.
Good interviewing. BUT TERRIBLE RACE FILMING----CANT SEE WINNER this way. U gotta add a winner indicator; finish line board doesn't show up.
The last view/angle (from right side stands) was the best for watching here.
Far too much yakking for, 2 mins of racing.
