She looks so much better without lip fillers. But over all I think she looks great. She looked so pretty and natural in a Star is Born so it’s great that she didn’t go too far and can look more natural when she wants.

About the face lift part: Lady Gaga has explained in interviews that she uses face tape under her wigs. This essentially pulls her skin back both at the brow level and around her cheeks so it looks like a face lift but likely it is not 😄
She actually confirmed a lot of the surgeries herself: She said during her Howard Stern interview in 2013 that she was addicted to fillers and that she got a hair transplant since her hair was falling out from her wigs, during one of her concerts at the Born This Way Ball she joked about her implants sliding while dancing, she didn't say what implant but I assume it's the chin or cheek. At the MTV European VMA in 2011 David Hasselhof gave her an award and she said that she was actually smiling but we probably can't tell since she had a lot of botox. She also recently shared a video of her in the car singing along to her Song Bloody Mary and her cheeks appear drastically low in volume, she looks like a skeleton, she doesn't have any fat left in her cheeks.
True, and I hate that because Gaga looks stunning with a round face. But, she's also lost weight to play Harley Quinn on the new Joker movie, so that might have also contributed to the "skeleton" look
Maybe the young stars are susceptible to body dysmorphic disorder. Before fillers many stars and models had eating disorders. Fillers, procedures and surgeries have become a systemic disorder. It's one thing being old with jowls and a turkey neck. But these gals are all perfect to begin with but they fall for the pressure.
as a Gaga STAN from since she began I was super sad as I saw her changing her face as I found her original face just so uniquely gorgeous and classical look. BUT she is still gorgeous and the work she has done looks good.
she is constantly changing due to make up and how she styles, if you look back to her face when she was younger she looks pretty much the same. Its about the era in each album, her mindset and the way she talks also changed from time to time which makes her ICONIC! That has always been GAGA constantly changing
All the changes she made doesn't seem quite a drastic change. It looks to me like it's just minute changes, disregarding the obvious stylistic make ups she wear every time. If you've seen the "vote now" video she put out last elections, I was quite surprised that she still looked the same 2009 Gaga we saw when she wore the iconic Poker Face wig with the bangs.

You seem to confuse her use of face tape for face lift procedures. For red carpet events she often alters the shape of her eyes and tightens the upper half of her face by taping elastic bands from temple to temple, covered by a wig. This gives her more of a cat eye. She doesn't hide she uses this trick, there's plenty of backstage pictures and video that show it. Just wanted to let you know.

@johansjournal That's the beauty of them. They are pieces of strong medical tape with an elastic attached that is stretched across her head. It's just taped to her skin. She can take it off after a few hours. She has used them on and off for a decade or so. Before I knew this existed I was always so confused why her eyeshape kept changing from more round (in a Star is born for example) to extreme cat eye (in American Horror Story) within weeks.
As a long term fan i can confirm she plays around with facetape her old make up artist has confirmed she would glue the tape down with spirt gum before the wig would be glued on and. She doesn't use the tape all the time hence her face always looks different. In 2016 during American horror story they used tape a lot under her wigs to give her a very evil queen/Ethereal look. But in 2019 during star is born she isn't wearing a wig its her own hair so there was no face tape and her face doesn't look pulled.

When you get fotographers shooting from all the angles, and videoclipes, movies, you may wants to look photogenic in all this. As a photographer I garantee, it's very difficult to find someone who looks good in every angle. I guess it's one of the reasons.

She’s not conventionally pretty. She has similar features to Chelsea Peretti. Not sweet or pretty by conventional standards as they have big, jarring features. There’s nothing particularly off with each feature, but the face just doesn’t look pretty when the features are put together. Madonna also had masculine & jarring features when young.

I think you were right about a most things though there was definitely a lot of changes you missed. First of all she has definitely gotten more than one brow lift in here life, shes gotten multiple nose job revisions as well as implants into her chin and cheeks. I also notice that I don't think she had buccal fat removal that was probably the effect of the cheek implants creating that dip. As well as jaw implants recently!
She has changed a lot through the years, but, oddly, one thing has stayed the same: she consistently looked 30. She's looked to be about 30 since the age of 13. She just has one of those faces

The most obvious change in the thumbnail comparison is that it appears Gaga’s eyes have shrunk. There is less iris exposed and the upper lid is less arched. The whole shape of the eye had changed, become more almond like, rising to the outside. It looks as though both upper and lower lids have been pulled outward and upward.
You can clearly see the tragus facelift scar. It’s present in the picture Linkov shows in 2018. Look at where her ear meets her head. Very clear in 2022 (and changed from 2018) which indicates to me an additional surgery. Her ear is essentially separated from her head.
With or without makeup, she is still beautiful! Although she wears more makeup style that still looks stunning and gorgeous! She's a shapeshifter just for her entertainment or art/music performance. Think it's kinda boring if you just look for her natural look but you don't admire her talent and every gorgeously look!

I thought she looked great at the start of her career and I think she looks great now. It’s clear she’s had a lot done but it’s all been very tasteful and well done. She still looks like herself just more refined.

The side camera is good fun although I would recommend that when you directly address audience with a call to action, for instance when you recommend we watch other videos of yours, that the front camera is used. Having the side shot in those moments of direct address is a bit jarring and could break engagement. Otherwise, great video!!

Fun fact: Lady Gaga was in an episode of The Sopranos when she was only 14 years old. There's an episode where AJ and his friends break into their school late at night, and as him and his friends were destroying the pool room, a group of girls were sitting off to the side, watching and laughing. A young Lady Gaga was one of those girls.
I love her so much since day one!❤️ My biggest dream was to meet her once and she made that dream come true the first time I saw her live. She read out a letter I wrote for her and threw on stage, sang a song for me that wasn’t on the setlist because I mentioned it’s importance to me in the letter and took me backstage. She is a wonderful human being and the most talented artist alive ❤️

Gaga didn’t have a face or brow lift, her makeup artist uses face tape to lift up her brows and face. The tape is blended with makeup and hidden under her wigs or hair styling. The only possible surgery she might have gotten is buccal fat removal, otherwise, what we see is mostly filler (too much IMO) and heavy and dramatic changes in makeup and weight. There are plenty photos and videos of her on social media where she looks completely normal and then she looks like a different person on the red carpet the following day. She loves to transform her appearance, it’s part of her art.
Jealous people really love to reach. We've seen her recently, many times, without the facelift tape and she looks just as she did before she was famous 🙄 people will really go out of their way to throw celebrities under the bus just to feel better about themselves.
Dr Gary has such beautiful skin, features and teeth, if I ever have plastic surgery again - I've has one nose job many years ago but didn't and don't like the results - I'd like Dr Gary to do the work, he's wonderful

@@marieke.80 She does look natural in her recent Oscars performance she is a master of pulling the wool over your eyes. This surgeon is massively overestimating what she has had done. She uses fillers, weight fluctuation and a combination of makeup and facetape to temporally alter her appearance for public appearances. She has never had a face or browlift, nor has she had implants.

I think most of the time she use facial tape especially in the 2022 during the sag and bafta you can see clearly she wore wig (usually she use facetape to snatch out her face when wearing a wig)
People look so much older, unhealthy & unnatural these days. People in their 20's & 30's getting all this work done & will look horrible when age catches up to them. Stay humble people. Be happy with what you have already!
Dr. Linkov, could you explain why when the outcome of botched surgeries are shown the patient is named, yet the practitioner who performed the surgery is not mentioned. Why are these surgeons protected while their victims get all the criticism?
I will say though, some of the time when it looks like she's had a face lift, or her eyebrows are lifted, it's actually because she's almost always wearing a lace front wig and sometimes the piece under is pulled too tight. An example is the red carpet look for the 2022 Elton John Oscar viewing party.
I think she had rhinoplasty in the mid 2010s some time...and I think it is an absolute masterpiece, preserving her racial heritage but giving her a perfect Roman nose

it's important to note that her eyes and brows appear to look a bit different time to time because of face tape that she uses under her wigs. she also alters her appearance and weight for movie roles sometimes.

The fillers age you quicker as opposed to if you let your face fill in naturally (and with age lines) these celebs are a perfect example of the excess of plastic surgery, botox and fillers (some of these things done in moderation is ok I think, but celebrities just become too extreme with it) and while Kar-Jenners didn’t invent the plastic look I certainly feel like they popularized that look (to say the least) 🤧
Dr. Linkov I have a question or something I'm curious about. So Gaga has spoken about her pain due to fibromyalgia and I wonder if partially she's getting botox in the face due to cosmetic reasons but to also help with the pain? She spoke about it in one of her documentaries and complained of head/face pain. I'm just curious if that's a popular treatment done with fibromyalgia! Love your vids and I love LG 💕
When used to paralyze nerves, botox is injected in a different area than when used to paralyze muscle. She could easily get botox for both reasons, but the place where the botox is injected should be very different, unless her chronic pain involves very superficial nerves that happen to be in the classic points where usually botox is injected to prevent wrinkles.
For the facelift part I think you didn’t consider the fact that she tapes her face under her wigs. There’s plenty of pictures online backstage when she’s getting ready for red carpet and stuff with tape to have a snatched face😁 and when papparazzis photograph her again the next day or so her face looks completely different again
I think the best work is probably more subtle - things that improve your look but don't drastically alter it so that you look like every other celeb. It's still you, just improved through tweaks. But, many of these celebs completely change how they look and often they seem to follow fads of other celebs - all of them look so similar now and that is just boring and not real. She is beautiful and didn't need to do this much, but it's her life. Makeup can be fun, but I think she looked most beautiful in that photo from age 27, wearing much less of it and prior to all her procedures.
All her procedures? I would hardly call using filler now and then lots of procedures, she has never had a facelift, he was wrong about that and he cant seem to tell the different between work done and just makeup tricks and face tape. As for the loss of fat in her face recently, that is simply a temporary result of weight loss for her Joker 2 role.
Hi, doc! Id say that a bony genioplasty (advancement of the chin bone) usually helps with lip incompetence and makes the lower lip less protruding, while improving the neck line bc of the hyoid muscle movement
I’m pretty certain she did get a chin implant, but not until much later than you indicate here in the video. You can see in the 2011 picture for example that her chin was still fairly weak around that time. 2012 was when she (visibly) started experimenting with filler, mostly in the lips-this is when the chin starts projecting more, but it isn’t until 2016 or so when it finally becomes more contiguous with the jaw/jowl area and stops changing appearance. I also suspect you jumped the gun on her rhinoplasty, but that one is a little harder for me to pin down to a certain date. Much more likely in the 2009-2014 window though, if I had to guess. Gaga can be tricky to analyze because of how radically different she looks day-to-day, especially earlier in her career. But really glad to see you covering her changes! EDIT: Also, I think you nailed the facelift! Pretty sure it was done at some point in the second half of 2021, because she showed up to Jimmy Kimmel in January 2022 looking notably more taut and upswept than she had 12 months prior.
I agree with everything you said here. I don’t think she got her nose job until a little later. In her documentary her nose job looks really fresh. It could be her 2nd but I think her first happened a bit later than mentioned here.

@@ZoeEmme Totally, I second that. I kinda suspect she played around with non-surgical nose shaping for a while, using fillers in the bridge (similar to how she was having her chin filled for a while), before opting for a more permanent procedure.
I am surprised you did not report more changes. She has looked very different to me for a long time compared to her debut. Mostly a more pulled back alien look to her eyes, maybe the changes in her cheeks did that.

The worst "help" for 50+ women may be a hormonal medicine which has some part of it made of the urine of pregnant horses (they have a hose into their urine places). Mares are like prisons in their stalls and they are kept pregnant almost all the time. Quite soon after the foal is born and taking off the place (into the "foal orphan places"), a new pregnance is started with an earlier collected sperm of a male horse. I'm a sad person generally, but this is something that I can't understand at all. Mares are suffering and the foals of them have nobody that could teach them how to live like a horse... I hope that you will get your power back, perhaps joining together with your neighbours or relatives, to help each others? 🍀
i think it's because most of women are obsessed with youthness and to be perfect.. so many young women do this and that so they can look younger.. and it started when you see a single imperfection, like fine lines, smile lines, something like that.. and so many younger women compared themself to instagram images that use heavy filters.. so many of them think that do this n that will make them look more beautiful.. but in many cases, it's not.. and then they're unhappy and trying to make more changes..and these beautiful people is more prone to get hate comments about their appearance.. so it's just the generation i think..
Her weight has fluctuated throughout her career. She also has an incredible makeup artist. Seems like it’d be difficult to determine what she did or didn’t have done.

About the face lift part: Lady Gaga has explained in interviews that she uses face tape under her wigs. This essentially pulls her skin back both at the brow level and around her cheeks so it looks like a face lift but likely it is not 😄

She actually confirmed a lot of the surgeries herself: She said during her Howard Stern interview in 2013 that she was addicted to fillers and that she got a hair transplant since her hair was falling out from her wigs, during one of her concerts at the Born This Way Ball she joked about her implants sliding while dancing, she didn't say what implant but I assume it's the chin or cheek. At the MTV European VMA in 2011 David Hasselhof gave her an award and she said that she was actually smiling but we probably can't tell since she had a lot of botox. She also recently shared a video of her in the car singing along to her Song Bloody Mary and her cheeks appear drastically low in volume, she looks like a skeleton, she doesn't have any fat left in her cheeks.
True, and I hate that because Gaga looks stunning with a round face. But, she's also lost weight to play Harley Quinn on the new Joker movie, so that might have also contributed to the "skeleton" look

Maybe the young stars are susceptible to body dysmorphic disorder. Before fillers many stars and models had eating disorders. Fillers, procedures and surgeries have become a systemic disorder. It's one thing being old with jowls and a turkey neck. But these gals are all perfect to begin with but they fall for the pressure.

Its about the era in each album, her mindset and the way she talks also changed from time to time which makes her ICONIC! That has always been GAGA constantly changing
All the changes she made doesn't seem quite a drastic change. It looks to me like it's just minute changes, disregarding the obvious stylistic make ups she wear every time. If you've seen the "vote now" video she put out last elections, I was quite surprised that she still looked the same 2009 Gaga we saw when she wore the iconic Poker Face wig with the bangs.

You seem to confuse her use of face tape for face lift procedures. For red carpet events she often alters the shape of her eyes and tightens the upper half of her face by taping elastic bands from temple to temple, covered by a wig. This gives her more of a cat eye. She doesn't hide she uses this trick, there's plenty of backstage pictures and video that show it. Just wanted to let you know.

@johansjournal That's the beauty of them. They are pieces of strong medical tape with an elastic attached that is stretched across her head. It's just taped to her skin. She can take it off after a few hours. She has used them on and off for a decade or so. Before I knew this existed I was always so confused why her eyeshape kept changing from more round (in a Star is born for example) to extreme cat eye (in American Horror Story) within weeks.
As a long term fan i can confirm she plays around with facetape her old make up artist has confirmed she would glue the tape down with spirt gum before the wig would be glued on and. She doesn't use the tape all the time hence her face always looks different. In 2016 during American horror story they used tape a lot under her wigs to give her a very evil queen/Ethereal look. But in 2019 during star is born she isn't wearing a wig its her own hair so there was no face tape and her face doesn't look pulled.

When you get fotographers shooting from all the angles, and videoclipes, movies, you may wants to look photogenic in all this. As a photographer I garantee, it's very difficult to find someone who looks good in every angle. I guess it's one of the reasons.
I just hope she keeps it very minimal. She is naturally gorgeous and has an unique look that immediately tells you "that's her!" and it's crazy how many celebrities play with their brand like that.

She’s not conventionally pretty. She has similar features to Chelsea Peretti. Not sweet or pretty by conventional standards as they have big, jarring features. There’s nothing particularly off with each feature, but the face just doesn’t look pretty when the features are put together. Madonna also had masculine & jarring features when young.

I think you were right about a most things though there was definitely a lot of changes you missed. First of all she has definitely gotten more than one brow lift in here life, shes gotten multiple nose job revisions as well as implants into her chin and cheeks. I also notice that I don't think she had buccal fat removal that was probably the effect of the cheek implants creating that dip. As well as jaw implants recently!
She has changed a lot through the years, but, oddly, one thing has stayed the same: she consistently looked 30. She's looked to be about 30 since the age of 13. She just has one of those faces

The most obvious change in the thumbnail comparison is that it appears Gaga’s eyes have shrunk.
There is less iris exposed and the upper lid is less arched.
The whole shape of the eye had changed, become more almond like, rising to the outside.
It looks as though both upper and lower lids have been pulled outward and upward.
You can clearly see the tragus facelift scar. It’s present in the picture Linkov shows in 2018. Look at where her ear meets her head. Very clear in 2022 (and changed from 2018) which indicates to me an additional surgery. Her ear is essentially separated from her head.

The side camera is good fun although I would recommend that when you directly address audience with a call to action, for instance when you recommend we watch other videos of yours, that the front camera is used. Having the side shot in those moments of direct address is a bit jarring and could break engagement. Otherwise, great video!!

There's an episode where AJ and his friends break into their school late at night, and as him and his friends were destroying the pool room, a group of girls were sitting off to the side, watching and laughing. She might have had some of these surgeries but probably not all of them and some of them years later. She did (over)use fillers however.

Gaga didn’t have a face or brow lift, her makeup artist uses face tape to lift up her brows and face. The tape is blended with makeup and hidden under her wigs or hair styling. The only possible surgery she might have gotten is buccal fat removal, otherwise, what we see is mostly filler (too much IMO) and heavy and dramatic changes in makeup and weight. There are plenty photos and videos of her on social media where she looks completely normal and then she looks like a different person on the red carpet the following day. She loves to transform her appearance, it’s part of her art.
So, that’s why I’ve never recognized her without the meat suite.

She uses fillers, weight fluctuation and a combination of makeup and facetape to temporally alter her appearance for public appearances. I think most of the time she use facial tape especially in the 2022 during the sag and bafta you can see clearly she wore wig (usually she use facetape to snatch out her face when wearing a wig)

Dr. Linkov, could you explain why when the outcome of botched surgeries are shown the patient is named, yet the practitioner who performed the surgery is not mentioned. Why are these surgeons protected while their victims get all the criticism?
I will say though, some of the time when it looks like she's had a face lift, or her eyebrows are lifted, it's actually because she's almost always wearing a lace front wig and sometimes the piece under is pulled too tight. An example is the red carpet look for the 2022 Elton John Oscar viewing party.

The fillers age you quicker as opposed to if you let your face fill in naturally (and with age lines) these celebs are a perfect example of the excess of plastic surgery, botox and fillers (some of these things done in moderation is ok I think, but celebrities just become too extreme with it) and while Kar-Jenners didn’t invent the plastic look I certainly feel like they popularized that look (to say the least) 🤧

So Gaga has spoken about her pain due to fibromyalgia and I wonder if partially she's getting botox in the face due to cosmetic reasons but to also help with the pain? You are right. From what I read many doctors agree that botox is a great help when it comes to fibromyalgia.
When used to paralyze nerves, botox is injected in a different area than when used to paralyze muscle. She could easily get botox for both reasons, but the place where the botox is injected should be very different, unless her chronic pain involves very superficial nerves that happen to be in the classic points where usually botox is injected to prevent wrinkles.

For the facelift part I think you didn’t consider the fact that she tapes her face under her wigs. There’s plenty of pictures online backstage when she’s getting ready for red carpet and stuff with tape to have a snatched face😁 and when papparazzis photograph her again the next day or so her face looks completely different again
I think the best work is probably more subtle - things that improve your look but don't drastically alter it so that you look like every other celeb. It's still you, just improved through tweaks. But, many of these celebs completely change how they look and often they seem to follow fads of other celebs - all of them look so similar now and that is just boring and not real. She is beautiful and didn't need to do this much, but it's her life. Makeup can be fun, but I think she looked most beautiful in that photo from age 27, wearing much less of it and prior to all her procedures.
All her procedures? I would hardly call using filler now and then lots of procedures, she has never had a facelift, he was wrong about that and he cant seem to tell the different between work done and just makeup tricks and face tape. As for the loss of fat in her face recently, that is simply a temporary result of weight loss for her Joker 2 role.

Hi, doc! Id say that a bony genioplasty (advancement of the chin bone) usually helps with lip incompetence and makes the lower lip less protruding, while improving the neck line bc of the hyoid muscle movement
I’m pretty certain she did get a chin implant, but not until much later than you indicate here in the video. You can see in the 2011 picture for example that her chin was still fairly weak around that time. 2012 was when she (visibly) started experimenting with filler, mostly in the lips-this is when the chin starts projecting more, but it isn’t until 2016 or so when it finally becomes more contiguous with the jaw/jowl area and stops changing appearance.
I also suspect you jumped the gun on her rhinoplasty, but that one is a little harder for me to pin down to a certain date. Much more likely in the 2009-2014 window though, if I had to guess.
Gaga can be tricky to analyze because of how radically different she looks day-to-day, especially earlier in her career. But really glad to see you covering her changes!
EDIT: Also, I think you nailed the facelift! Pretty sure it was done at some point in the second half of 2021, because she showed up to Jimmy Kimmel in January 2022 looking notably more taut and upswept than she had 12 months prior.

I am surprised you did not report more changes. She has looked very different to me for a long time compared to her debut. Mostly a more pulled back alien look to her eyes, maybe the changes in her cheeks did that.

I threw out the tv in 2008, & 3 years later I was at a party where there were big screen tvs, & I was shocked at how fake those tv people looked. I thought it was the shape of the screen that had them looking so non-human.
So sad that normal life of women with ageing has been gone... Mine too but I'm getting used to it. The worst "help" for 50+ women may be a hormonal medicine which has some part of it made of the urine of pregnant horses (they have a hose into their urine places). Mares are like prisons in their stalls and they are kept pregnant almost all the time. Quite soon after the foal is born and taking off the place (into the "foal orphan places"), a new pregnance is started with an earlier collected sperm of a male horse.
I'm a sad person generally, but this is something that I can't understand at all. Mares are suffering and the foals of them have nobody that could teach them how to live like a horse...

i think it's because most of women are obsessed with youthness and to be perfect.. so many young women do this and that so they can look younger.. and it started when you see a single imperfection, like fine lines, smile lines, something like that..
and so many younger women compared themself to instagram images that use heavy filters.. so many of them think that do this n that will make them look more beautiful.. but in many cases, it's not.. and then they're unhappy and trying to make more changes..and these beautiful people is more prone to get hate comments about their appearance.. so it's just the generation i think..

I like how she got the surgeries but decided to keep the unique little stuff that gave her face character. smart lady!
They were all pretty minor, and it seems that she knows when enough is enough.
I’m not seeing anything she kept. She looks totally unrecognizable to me.
Her whole face is diferent... jawline, eyebrows, lips, cheeks, eyes.. the only maintained is the nose bridge.
IMO she has really beautiful eyes. And the girl can SING!❤

Her weight has fluctuated throughout her career. She also has an incredible makeup artist. Seems like it’d be difficult to determine what she did or didn’t have done.
Agreed- there’s no accounting for weight flux. Personally, it changes my face a lot.
