I remember his show on t.v. in the late 60s titled "this is Tom Jones"...my brothers and I would jump up and start dancing to the intro song "its not unusual"...it pissed my father off! Lol

It started playing on the radio from Windsor Canada one afternoon. Mother pulled the Chrysler New Yorker over and put in park, just to listen on the best speakers we had...loud.
Then when we saw him do this live on his TV show, even my father got teary. Never missed his program or reruns!

I am a 66 year old man and I will always have the greatest respect for Tom Jones, he is not only for the ladies to swoon over but alot of fellas I know have the utmost respect for Mr. JONES. He doesn't really flaunt his sexuality, well, not so much he can't back it up with his voice and, well, you know ! That man's command over his voice is obviously extraordinary. He gained my respect long ago when he would sing and womans panties would begin to fly thru the air and land at his feet.

I've met Tom Jones 2 times, once in 1985, in Toronto, Canada my Godmother took me, I was 13 and a second time in 1995 second time went to see him with a girlfriend in the USA and seen Tom Jones 6 times in the 2000s! Such a wonderful man and one of the best singers alive!!! Even got a kiss twice!!💞🤗

Man I love watching women melt, even if it aint me doing it. What's so great is that TJ knows when he takes the stage, especially back in his prime, that he's about to blow some peoples minds. Tom Jones was underrated for the day because of big names (The Beatles, etc.) that were popular at the same time. But his voice was truly one of the very best ever. Check out some of his other songs, like "Delilah", "Without Love", and "I Who Have Nothing" (you’ll be glad you did). You may want to also do some reaction videos on Engelbert Humperdinck, another gentleman with an incredible voice that was popular around the same time as Tom.
Should see him concert, he is amazing. The voice is real. Been married to high school sweetheart for 60+ years.

Sir Tom Jones voice is like Karen Carpenters, Patsy Cline or Gary Puckett- transcendent, stunning and atmosphere-setting. Sir Tom Jones music literally brought me happiness when i was trying to cope in an abusive household. His voice/music got my mind off of my pain and suffering.

He was well known in (Detroit/Motown) because he dated Mary Wilson for so many years. “Fall in Love” was written by his friend and fellow performer named Lonnie Denegan. Tom sang this song with Donegan’s son on “The Voice “ and Jennifer Hudson enjoyed it as much as the audience.
