Every song that is played the first time, don't touch your soul everytime to make you cry, espcially the first time hearing it. Most people have a experience or a memory of a song that they fuse with a song that makes it emotional. The tears on these songs are only clickbait, she just a person that cry's when she wants too. He got passion, but he not even making Carlton cry lol.
@@cadebritt8001 He has been a coach on The Voice UK for several years now, and at 81 he still sings the same as always. He is most certainly alive. Elvis? IDK...
Excellent reaction. I just do not say this blindly. Most of the reactors interrupt the song at the wrong times, ruin the flow and the mood and miss the entire point. You listened and you physically reacted that we could tell how you felt. And once over your words expressed your heart. More people should be like you. Haters are to be ignored. Tom Jones is 84 and still sounds the same today ,I saw him in Cardiff Castle 🏴last year and this year on June 6 going to see him In Chepstow ,his shows are Amazing and he’s Welsh 🏴
The great Sir Tom Jones. Knighted by the Queen of England. Elvis Presley and Tom attended each others shows in Las Vegas and often traded advice for each other. To this day, Sir Tom can STILL sing to his hearts content. Unbelievable vocal prowess ‼️👍🏽👍🏽
Tom Jones has had the most dynamic and most powerful voice in recorded music history of the past 100 years. My wife and I had the good fortune to see him live in Las Vegas in 1973. It was incredible and he sang nearly 30 songs and his voice was just as powerful from beginning to end. One of the greatest artists of our time. As for singers who can touch your soul, none is better than the A Capella group Home Free. After listening to each and every song, you go, WOW! You have this feeling of joy, warmth, and peace every time. I suggest for starters, you react to the last three covers they just came out with: Amazed, Make You Feel My Love, and the iconic Unchained Melody.
Tom Jones's voice goes through all the required levels that you personally want to hear, power, perfect tessitura, metal is unique and wonderful, the perfect voice to interpret and transmit every feeling, he says singing everything he feels and doesn't we ask to communicate, he does it for each one of us with the best voice in the world. great singer, the best.....
Love the great Tom Jones. What a voice that comes from the heart. Don't be ashamed that you teared up. I'm a 250 lb 6'3" man and TJ's voice moves my soul still today.

Green, Green Grass of Home is just as moving. Tom Jones just has the way of making you feel the hurt right down to your heart. When I divorced my first wife in 1978, I would be weeping when this song came on the radio. That was such a dark winter, but I survived and moved on…….. and did find love again. We have been married now for over 41 years.
Pink you are one gorgeous woman - never apologize for being moved by stunning emotional music - it only show how wonderful and real you are. Thank you for listening to the music and showing us your heart. Let’s see you play Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody, 1965 live on Andy Williams Show. Thank you gorgeous girl
Your comments are spot on. And, this was performed before a live audience. No special trick microphones, no cut and paste, just live. I was fortunate to see him perform live at the MGM Grand and what a special moment in my life to see this living legend do about 1-1/2 hour show with all of his favorite hits. And…don’t feel alone with your tears. I’m going on 77 and I still get choked up and a bit Misty-eyed watching this wonderful man doing his thing. So classy, such beautiful manners and grace, and what a handsome person. I love your review!
That’s the music I grew up on. When you heard Tom Jones you would swear he was Black because he sung with so much passion and soul. We very seldom hear that today. Music that brings you to tears.
His voice is sublime. The way he delivers a song cuts right to the core. I was two years old when this came out. Just hearing it reminds me so much of the unique time that was the 60s and 70s, never again will we have such a time. I was lucky but born about 10 years too late to see all the era's great artists in their heyday. David Bowie, my absolute favourite. I haven't seen you for ages. Enjoyed this vid.
My sweet friend, music is the voice of the soul. It expresses the feelings of the heart and your candid; honest response is truly sincere. Coming from someone who grew up listening to talent like this, it's nice to see someone of the younger generation share her feelings and appreciation for music of days gone by. It was pure talent, no computers, no synthesized sounds, no profanity, just pure devotion and skill. Your reaction blessed my heart. Thank you.
I really loved your reaction. Unlike many other reviewers, you played the whole song without interruption, and then explained why it moved you so much. Well done young lady.❤

It's wonderful to see such a young person appreciate the artists of old. I grew up with these talented people and they are still the best at what they did. As far as you crying, nonsense, you felt the song and that's what it's all about. Don't ever worry about crying. It's the appropriate reaction to an emotional song, sung with passion ansd such a powerful voice. It reaches deep down inside shows us your beautiful heart

Tom retained 90,% of his singing voice he's 82 and still performing. Had many great songs. Green Grass of Home, I who Have Nothing, What's new Pussycat, Help Yourself, Delilah.
The man is 80 years young now and still has a phenomenal voice. He was looked upon as cheesy back in the day, but he was an amazing talent. By the way, look into Janis Joplin. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I really love this comment because it just goes to show you that every generation has a tendency to look down or laugh at or prejudge the generations before them and it's not a competition to see who is better it's only when you get older and you're More experienced that you start to look back and appreciate more and more the things that you use to laugh at
The 60,s was a fantastic era , So many great artists back then . Tom Jones was loved by many , especially the ladies 😁.. I was 6 years old in 1967 ,so I'm fortunate enough to have been around to have seen it first time
Darling seeing you cry made me cry too. Isn't music wonderful, it can lift us , bring absolute joy and then deep sadness. You are a very lovely young lady. You feel the music and the story. You are such a joy. xxx
Remember that was in the days before AutoTune and he is performing before a live studio audience. I live in Nashville, and I often attended those tapings and when someone is performing, it cost too much money to hire studio musicians and keep them there for hours while the singer made mistake after mistake after mistake, requiring take after take after take, so they usually had ONE try to get it right and right or not, that's what went into the show. The way artists reached this level of skill is that they KNEW they had to get it right so they practiced and practiced and practiced until they could perform with no mistakes and this song by Tom Jones shows the result of all that practice! I was happy to see the way you reacted to this song. Jones put his heart into the song and your reaction showed that you felt that emotion. Please react to his "Green Green Grass of Home". Beautiful song with a twist.
I’m 67 yo now. My mother was a working machine..worked all day and then came home and took care of the family in the evenings, but she NEVER missed an episode of the Tom Jones show. I can picture her sitting in the couch watching the show and eating an orange. She passed a few years ago at the age of 93. Now I occasionally see Tom on The Voice and I think he is just as amazing as he was all of those years ago when we watched his show. And I think you are cute as heck! Thanks for the memories.
GREAT REACTION!! Composers compose and singers sing in order to convey a message and hopefully, emotion!!! Tom is one of the best at conveying emotion in his songs!!! I was turned on to Tom Jones music around 1970 by Michael Jackson's brother Jackie, when I was reading a magazine article about the Jackson 5 and Jackie mentioned that his favorite singer was Tom Jones!!! Tom immediately became one of my favorite singers the minute I heard him sing for the first time, which was on his "This is Tom Jones" TV show!!! Tom's favorite singer was Wilson Picket, who he had on his TV show to sing a medley of songs, mostly Wilson's songs. You can see the video on TH-cam!!!
I was crying with you, beautiful lady! You are a very beautiful young lady, but I think you are more beautiful inside. You’re a special person. I fell in love with you just now. In 1967, I was in Vietnam. I still love hearing this beautiful song. ❤️
The solo;& talents of the past are classic that carries music through generations & makes life for we common people daily. God given talents to have a moment pleasure & memories in this crazy world
His friend Lonnie Donnegan wrote this song with him in mind. A couple years ago on the UK version of the TV show "The Voice" Tom Jones was a judge on the panel and he ended up doing a duet with Lonnie's son who was a contestant singing this song. It was a magic moment as it was unplanned as Tom didn't know the kid singing was Lonnie's son.

Which is why the ancient Greeks, people like Plato and Aristotle, held music in such high regard. "Medicine for the soul," one of them said.
Great music is meant to emotionally affect you. That's why Beethoven Mozart and Bach are just as relevant today as 200 years ago

Toms duet with Janis is legendary: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=tom+jones+janis+joplin
He was the Number 1 male singer of the late 60's. Unparalleled. After the 60's music went downhill and hit bottom in the 80's.
l think you will.
@@billythedog-309 Nope. She's got taste, unlike you.
The 60,s was a fantastic era ,
So many great artists back then . Tom Jones was loved by many , especially the ladies 😁..
I was 6 years old in 1967 ,so I'm fortunate enough to have been around to have seen it first time
No auto-tune just natural talent.
Music is a part of my soul. If a song makes you cry, bring on the tears. Its an honest expression of an honest emotion.
Tom jones is amazing. Brought my 16 yr old modern daughter to see him 2 years ago and she couldn’t believe his voice.
Darling seeing you cry made me cry too. Isn't music wonderful, it can lift us , bring absolute joy and then deep sadness. You are a very lovely young lady. You feel the music and the story. You are such a joy. xxx
yes and 55 years later it still brings tears to many people who can relate to it. you are so right.
it is a timeless song even today.
Tom Jones to this date still can bring "IT". One the most powerful voices EVER!!!
Please don't ever apologize for having feelings. It's just a part of you that make you a wonderful person.
There's nothing wrong with crying. He swept your heart away. 😏🫶🏽
Can't believe you are back. Good to see you Pink. Tom Jones is super random.
God given talents to have a moment pleasure & memories in this crazy world
You are an amazing young woman! The world needs so many more of people like you!
YOU are the reason for music like this, you and your soul.
Honey there is no explanation necessary. Anyone who loves music gets it. Thanks for the song.
He sings it in 1967....55 years lady he makes a young lady cry. Yep, I would say that makes it timeless as you said.
