I dont believe that the plastic got upgraded till the v2 Henderson and aroux skate came out and the jeph Howard shift is also supposedly better plastic too
What is the heel width like on this? For me I have wide forefoot but my heel and midfoot is quite narrow, so not easy to fit. Usually if it is wide enough in the from I am swimming in the back and the boot is rotating around my heel. If it fits my heel it will be squeezing the sides of my feet behind my toes. With your experience with so many skates which do you think might fit my foot profile?
The sl definitely has a wider heel i fould i got heel lift if i didn’t lace it properly. A hack you csn do is put some velcro on your liner and shell that will make your foot not swim around nearly at all snd id say the razors shift has a good balance of wider toe and narrower heel but the dpt of it is pretty skinny so if you have thick toes it can squeeze downward on top your toe nails if that makes sense. ( nothing that cant be fixed with a heat gun and tennis ball tho.
