  • I BOUGHT NEW SKATES! RAZOR SL GRAPHITE REVIEW
    In this episode, we unbox and review the new Graphite Razor SL's from Rollerwarehouse. Razor skates have been my personal favorite for years, and I love the way the skates feel straight out of the box. For this setup, however, I purchased the boot only and customized them with Kizer Slimeline 2 frames and Jeff Dalnas Eulogy wheels.
    These blades turned out amazing, and I put them to the test at Shakopee skatepark, Minnesota. Let me know what you think of the new Razor skates!
    Thanks for watching Roll Minnesota,
    Butch Lehman

    Dude what awesome timing. I just bought these from my local skate shop. I used them for four hours today and loved them. I have also not really skated in 14 years. But I am so hyped to be skating again. Also you rip. You disaster is massive and you videos make me pumped to go have some fun. Thanks for the content.

    Killing it in the SLs out the box! Skating looking so good right there 🙌
    I recently tried SLs for the first time and the cuff flex is much better in comparison to all the other skates I've used. Fifth elements coming in close second for flex in my opinion.

    Damn you killed it. It sure is tempting to take a drive up there to that skatepark. Afraid I don’t wanna spend the money for that right now. Maybe next year. I’ve been skating razors sl’s since 08 and I switched to usd carbons a couple months ago. It sure is interesting. It slides a million times better on my p rail. Feel they still haven’t broken yet. Probably will still be “breaking them in” til next year.

      Jeph Howard is a personal friend of mine; we have skated together for over a decade. I donated to his recovery, and will do whatever I can to support him. Razors deserves criticism for sure, but the idea that skate companies should supply their riders with health insurance isn't actually possible. In order for that to work, skate companies would have to elevate riders from independent contractors to actual employees which would require setting up and withholding state and federal income taxes on behalf of each rider, in addition to Social Security and Medicare withholdings, along with other legalities. Every state and country have different tax jurisdictions and forms; the level of accounting and legal work necessary would put companies out of business or (more likely) force them to drop their teams entirely. Razors is trying to make it right and increased their skate prices to be able to pay Jeph a $30 royalty on each skate. They should have been doing this from the beginning. Like I said, they certainly deserve criticism, but some of the criticism is unfair and could end up doing more harm than good to our professionals.

    • @Danielson1818
      @Danielson1818 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm totally with you. It's the big craze in rollerblading these days to downsize. Everyone does it for a tighter fit, but it's just impossible with the wide feet I have. I usually have to size UP on most skates from an 11 to a 12 to be able to skate comfortably. It sucks that Razors has been caught in some shady stuff, but I'm not rich enough to buy every other skate, hoping to find something that fits right.
