Good Review.
thudlife baby. i used to get the clack and then i started using spacers in my bearings. i cant beleive i was fkn missing out.
Great review! I was listening to this loud with headphones on and the lady who coughed in the background scared the sh!t out of me haha. I was looking around my house...lol
@@pouringblue7 haha my bad 😂
Great video. Very informative! Do the Tnec soulframes fit 5th element boots?
No i definitely don’t think they would and even if they did i wouldn’t bother that soul frame is not very good imo the plastic is terrible and breaks that was the whole reason i put the fifth plate on
Did you ever end up trying the Sway Soul plates? Or any others?
@@josephlux9519 yeah it was a no go on the fit maybe after hours and hours of dremeling but didn’t seem worth it
Any good suggestions for use with a Roces M12 (w/ standard liner)? Currently I use FP Elite Lows in my quads (Wifa Street Deluxe boots) and these work pretty well with the high heel, but the standard M12 insoles really give me pressure along the frame after 1-2 hours of use. New to aggressive inline as well, so not sure if this is normal.
@@disobey81 yeah the m12s are pretty narrow and also don’t have a ton of volume either id use a thinner foot bed like the super feet hockey ones
Great job Cletus of oysi for the design of these frames! Good review! These frames are the best for flat!
i have a problem with the frame. using 60mm wheels the inner wheels are not spinning cause they rub at to bottom bolts
Dang dude!!!
Hello, is there a difference in shell size? I want to go down from 8.0-8.5 to a 7.0-7.5 or should I just get new liners?
@@gottenport7219 idk man just depends on the size of your foot id measure in mm the. Go from there
Yes there's a difference between Shell size, I have both 7/7.5 and 8/8.5 twisters and Shell size change. My Mondopoint is L: 25.7 - R: 26.4 and with 7.5 the L: I have space at the toes and can move them freely but after 50 min to 1hr more or less I start to feel numbness at my ring toe, with the R: my big toe rubs slightly at the front corner but not much weird as it sounds even the R been rubing i have no numbness or pain at all. The 8/8.5 feels roomier at the toes box and i can skate them for longer distances and time with no pain, numbness or foot fatigue. I like the tight performance fit of the 7.5 but as i mention i can skate them for long periods, i thought that with skate time they were going to expand a lil bit but it has been a month and they feel the same. My feets feel happier with the 8.5 comfort fit 😅. So if i lets say if i were to get a nomad liner for example, i have to get one for each, at least thats what inline warehouse expert told me. Hope this helps!
How do they compare width wise to sl?
A little wider in the toes but less sloppy of a heal
@@kordel_alcorn_white the man thats what i was hoping for
Sweet. Also, the new FR oysi frames are sick af, and CHEAP. I put them on my seba cj2 prime's yesterday, and had the best session ❤ I'm considering getting the FR UFR with those frames, just to try the FR skates and have some variety!
@@helgevig5134 yeah that sounds like a fun idea id say do it
The most beautiful period of my life was riding inlines. after the accident, my legs are full of iron, I can't ride anymore 😢
So sorry to hear this ! That is a huge bummer i hope you are finding lots of other things that make life fulfilling though
Great review! How do they compare to the SL's? Which would you prefer?
Um fit is similar to sls id say but they way they skate is totally different if i was doing really big gaps id choose sl cuz of the squishy heel and taller cuffs but if i was trying to go full tech id do echo they are way more responsive
6’3” with a 9ish shoe size is wild haha I’m 5’11” with a size 11 😮💨
Yeah its not ideal for me haha hard to find stuff that works they way i want
I love the smaller soul plate of the m12, if this is almost the same it's perfect. Especially since it's the same width over the entire length.
Met the designer at the Ldn Jam, really nice guy and was very open. Said he’s been skating for 20 years so of course the boot looks like a mix of everything else out there 🤷♀️ Love the THEM comment, great brand, but damn there are some dorky people out there that think they’re ‘cool’ 😅 skating the skates.
@@that_which_is_not haha exactly ill probably get blasted for it eventually but im sick of the cool bro gate keepers and imma say what i think from now on no more filters rollerblading needs more blunt honesty and less circle jerking imo
If you compare Thems and Echos side by side in hand, they're so much different. The Echo is more like a mixture of Thems and Razors SL, very unique!
@@luedinski i agree

that the toe looks like it fits perfectly around. they look great i also looovvve the fifth soulplate
@@judaslink3588 yeah it worked surprisingly well well imo haha
I’m not gonna lie. I was very skeptic about this happening, but looks good and I did it!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I was just thinking about what parts would fit on the TNECs. Love the shell, but I'm wearing through the frames and souls pretty quick. Also curious if different cuffs might fit too. Great video, keep tinkering. 👍
@@josephlux9519 thanks man i appreciate it !
Glad you guys are going to find out that the Americans running the rollerblading clicks are douche bags
Me personally, the SL is a classic. Really tempted to get back on them.
solid man, how about a 5 wheel frame?
@@terrablader ehh not my jam so haven’t tried it to be honest
Класс коньки На таких же гоняем всей семьей
How would you compare that to the Union Falcor? Thanks awesome review
Im not a big union fan to be honest son i like the flux more.. mini disc mounting is not rad imo
@kordel_alcorn_white thanks man you are right over 10years ago. I used Union and didn't like them. I thought I'll give it another crack, but I'll try FLUX. Thanks for your review 👍
Agree w the cuffs. Just rivet the damn things in a position where your laces (also useless) don’t get shredded.
@@ChrizzLau69 exactly lol
the quality of the plastic isn't "lower quality" - it is just softer than the SL / Shift which results in a more natural flex.
Great job bro, smooth style 🙌🏼🔥
No matter how much style you got, theyre still rollerblades bruh It's like if a fat girl wears skinny jeans, are they *really* skinny jeans??
@@CODY2POSH lol and no matter how funny you think you are you’ll still be an annoying dumb ass that has no idea what they are talking about. Rollerblading is sick af

@@johnpizza444 im not on anything lol what are you clowns on ? Dissing and activity you know nothing about. Pathetic 🤡
@@kordel_alcorn_white what
@@kordel_alcorn_white was it harder to convince yourself of that or was it harder telling your parents you were gay?
Seeing you hold that skate with one hand (by the back wheel!) reminds me how heavy my old Rollerblade TRS Alpha are. This is what I would want if I could get back into skating.
I have the Sway Team 57s setup similarly. I added a Second Skin liner it has helped with some pressure I had across my feet. I use the 45 strap it helps keep everything tight down from the top... the laces weren't enough for me. I'm switching to velcro for the cuff strap as well soon. Thanks for the review I applied your insights.
Hey, great review. Now I want to order this frame for my roces m12. I have them in size eu41 /us8 (260mm). Should I go for Small (241mm) or medium (260mm)?
@@demonnikto3365 id do the 260mm frame for size 8-9 us foot and anything size 10 or bigger id recommend going up to the large frame size at 275
@@kordel_alcorn_white thanks!
I don't get why they didn't add 1-2 mm to the positive width if they reshaped it anyway...
@@TudorNeve cuz too much plate is a bad thing . Slows down your slide and makes you wash out when rolling around especially in bowls. Its plenty big imo. Cults are very easy to lock tricks on and do topsides and royales too so i think its fine
Honestly I agree. I don't buy any of the arguments about it being beneficial other than skating bowl. There's literally no reason not to make bigger souls.
NIce one dude. Usefull details brought up in this review and below in the comments. Cheers.
Excellent review
@@jasonstinsmen3348 thank you !🙏
Great question! So the best way is to start small and slow do a lot of stalls first then start slowly adding speed till you are eventually cruising locking snd sliding far ! 🤘🏼 also be brave and realize bumps and falls will happen but its no reason to give up
What’s the best way to start? I can skate but I always chicken out on the send. Just wondering what the best way to start learning how to grind
@@murraythebaker th-cam.com/video/O9LjahgYrwo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IY_6V5bYcfO3Yy_K watch my how to soul grind tutorial
Great review man, if you don’t mind me asking what is your mondo? I’m 262 and was wondering if I was able to get the 6/7us shell and put a 8us liner in? The problem I have is if I get the 8/9 shell, initially it feels good but once it’s worn in it feels to big.
@@SeanSaayman yeah id say try to down size maybe ? Im 273 mondo and the 8-9 fits me perfect with an intuition liner . you being a full cm smaller might be able to squeeze in to the next shell down but its be close
The biggest issue with the industry is how fucking boring it has become. Look at the skates. Look at the riders. Look at the brands. Its all so fucking clinical and corporate. Nothing looks sick anymore, nothing gets eyes on it anymore, its become so stale and so fucking boring. Its no wonder there is no new blood in it. I love blading, but its killing itself. The locoskates website looks like a fast fashion brand, the powerslide website looks like LinkedIn. Who the hell wants to be associated with that?
Okay well to understand where you are coming from what era was the “least”boring to you or your favorite? Because a lot of people have very different opinions of what good skating is or looks like nowadays and what “good” fassion” is too.. me personally i think the sickest blading is someone dressed like a normal person from the street. T shirt jeans maybe a hoodie if its colder ect. They look. Like an average no body and then Boom the skating is amazing and does all the talking. Like Erik bailey 🤌🏼
@@kordel_alcorn_white it’s all subjective. The best era was between 2000-2010. The hip hop swag to the Eric bailey steeze. It’s not something anyone can put their finger on, but there was magic to it. Maybe it’s the camera quality, the character of the riders, the fashion, the music, the simplicity, who knows, but right now blading has none of that. It’s not about hammers or huge drops or being gangster or whatever, it’s about the charm and the style.
@@Toebex yeeh i mike the way you put that i think it wad the simpler times maybe? Maybe not have social medial over flood and water down the content too ? Idk
@@kordel_alcorn_white I think rollerblading stood out, now it blends in. No one wants to blend in. Its watered down beyond belief.
@@Toebex yes but the question is how do you make it not watered down and not blend in ? Im all for pointing out issues but we gotta come with ideas and solutions too otherwise we are just a bunch of dumb old heads talking about the good old days lets make the good days now. Sow what would you do to fix it ?
Not sure if I missed the size you got -- I'm assuming 41-42 if your toes were hitting occasionally?
@@Rollerbalder yeah 41-42
Nice review. I'm 275mm and fit the 9 Sway pretty snug w a broken-in Reign V3 liner. Def could have done more testing though. Subbed!

@@Va1shnav no worries, great question. They are raised heel but not ad raised as cults or or mesmer or sways. They feel more like a them or roces raised heel
