Thank you so much for this video. I had a mouse fall into the fan motor and die there while I was driving and running the fan during a torrential rainstorm. It became apparent the cause of the very loud fan motor noise when several days later after 100 degree heat, the terrible smell appeared I am a 59 year old woman who can barely manage to handle a screwdriver properly. This video was clear, easy to follow, and I successfully completed the removal, cleaning, and reinstall on my own. I rock! You rock too! Thank you!

Any ideas how to prevent mouse entering to the fan area ?

Helped me big time this weekend - daughter's '96 Corolla wagon had ice forming INSIDE windows. Defroster was working but made horrible sounds on high settings. Followed directions and removed blower and found mouse nest in blower cage! Cleaned out blower, reassembled, and now sounds like a new blower even on high and NO ICE! Thanks!

I was looking for a video to help me fix my corolla’s blower. I love the “Ta-Dahhh’s” you did. So I knew I could trust you. Lol I’m a magician who performs in the Memphis, TN area.

I've got something up in the blower housing making a racket, so I need to clean it out. My only worry with this is the airbag. Should I disconnect the battery first?

Hey Jay, probably won't hear back from bruh, but on the corolla some have the cabin air filter behind the glove compartment. But like when you took off the blower much like my corolla I didnt see one in the position that most have and replace. Is there possibility a 96 doesn't have any filters or am I looking in all the wrong places still. Tearing almost everything apart. Thanks man hope all is going well. Josh

Does all corolla in the united states come with a door opening sound? Or is it an aftermarket device? Because my 94 corolla doesn't do that.

good vid. thanks for this, my son needed help and I said go check youtube. THis one is very well explained. THIng is, as you point out, many people will just get a new motor. Thats may be fine and great but the blower STILL has to come out, and thats wher you save the day. BTW, great choice of enduring econobox cars.
