Hey Brian. Thanks so much for doing these videos. I've been following you since your early videos with the white F30. I have a request. Can you please please do a video of the HVAC system? A lot of owners get a funky smell coming from the AC and there is practically no information online on how to properly clean out the system on the F30/F80. Have a good New Years!

I’m so jealous how much better the b48 start stop is with the wishbone mount they added than the n26. Such a different sound than other short rams.

I recently installed a used afe pro dry s on my f30 328i n26 and keeps giving me a bank 1 too lean code smh. I have a mpe exhaust and bms stage one idk if that's triggering the A/F/R? I removed the intake and put my stock back on . I even sprayed MAF sensor cleaner to see if that was it but negative.
Why haven't i seen this video before? That's going on my shopping list for sure, been looking for a decent intake that is not BMS for the B48.
The grommet for the engine cover isn’t lining up on mine and I followed this video and instructions to perfection. Any insight ?

I have the same engine and car with the same intake..how come mine doest sound like that? It doesnt make any turbo noise. Only when driving it will it make noise.

This will probably sound stupid to car guys but I'm new to all this. I've just installed a MST intake on my 220i, I can hear it and is super loud when I driving it but can't hear it when stationary like you could on this video
You can only make it sound cool if you have a manual, and let off the clutch. In an automatic in neutral, the exhaust flaps are closed, so turbo isn’t spooling up
Be sure to put the old nuts and bolts back in the old parts you take off, it might be a long time (hopefully) before you need to reinstall them, it would help prevent lost parts.
Now if I'd take my own advice, that would be great....

Do you know why mine doesn’t have this sound when it’s not moving. But when it’s moving then I will have this sound. Engine is B48.

Hey, i need to know if this car has a blow off valve. Or this sound is just the MST air intake ??
There is no BOV, if you want additional turbo volume, look at the MST inlet pipe.

Question how do you know difference between b48 engine and b46, is a 320 b48 and 330i b46 ?
B46 is NA variant of B48. Essentially the same thing just the b46 has some tighter emissions control

get this cold air intake , and install JB4 tuning chip , and m performance exhaust . Then you will feel difference

not if you make sure the mass airflow sensor is plugged in correctly
No, it does not! There is only one direction that the mass airflow sensor can be reinstalled on the new intake so you shouldn't have to worry 👍🏼

yes it does. I installed it on my own. Only thing is the original plastic trim is a bit different on the 330e so it touches the mst sidewall, but it isnt a problem just bend the plastic trim a bit

Francisco Robles S. So you don’t get heat soak, otherwise you’ll lose HP bc the OEM one is actually a cold air ram intake. Without that you’ll suck hot air in from your engine so you may get less HP than stock

Why didn't you rev it higher with the stock intake? It sounds like you rev'ed it higher with the aftermarket. Seems like you're trying to push the product..
I just had the customer rev it, but most people will be very familiar with that sound, it’s the after that we really need the clips of, to show what it could sound like. With the first few “after” clips he didn’t rev it very high, but still got great sound 👍🏼
