    This chain is rapidly growing now. Besides Texas, they are in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky with others opening soon n Mississippi and Colorado. The one nearest me in Richmond, KY has 120 pumps. The thick chips are kettle chips. It's not the standard variety but I like them.

    It’s truly funny that people from all over the world tease the people in America for being overweight, not having passports and not walking. Then they get here and find out nothing is close by. 3000 miles is a very long way. There are multiple regions, Multiple climates 24 hour supermarkets and almost anything to eat you can think off. I grew up in Texas and lived in the town Buc-ees started in. So understand that I am in no way denigrating this fine establishment when I say that Buc-ees does not serve "real" Texas BBQ. It's a fine food, but it is far from actual BBQ at any of the many BBQ restaurants around the state.

      @TheRoadBechAndCalls  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      That’s pretty cool, where did buc-ee’s originate from if you don’t mind sharing.
      We have had bbq from many of the different states and styles we appreciate it all as it’s not as very common back home in Australia.
      It is becoming more prevalent and appreciated, more places are starting to do smoked meats but no where near the amount of places you have in the USA.

    I know the rest of the English speaking world calls anything served in a bun a burger. Those aren’t burgers, they’re sandwiches. By definition, a burger is a patty made of mince between a bun/roll. If you walk into a diner and ask for a chicken burger, you are getting a mince chicken patty. If it isn’t mince, it’s a sandwich.
