When I first playing Gran Turismo 3 (I still have the save data with about 5.000.000 cr )I would go into the dealer and just look through the cars for about 30 MINUTES and then go do a race
POV: You’re 10 years old, you’re in the GT3 car dealership with this music playing and you’re scrolling through all the cars, dreaming about which one you want to unlock. Man those were the days.

They did such an amazing job on this soundtrack, notably here where they capture that feeling of digging through cars, stats, comparing the way they look etc. The music has a feeling of discovery in a way, and going down rabbit holes. So good.

The official soundtrack of learning about the history of exotic cars you've never heard of before, or weren't sold were you lived. Remember, these were days before widespread internet for all, and I'm pretty sure a lot of us heard about the Gillet Vertigo, the gazillion kei cars, the JGTC or the Suzuki Escudo for the first time through that game !
We can all agree that the Toyota GTOne, Mazda 787B and the Nissan R390 GT1 are the holy trinity.
