Congratulations. I would love to own a new gold wing. But I’m still young and love my Harley’s. I have a new 23 Roadglide-ST and love it. I know you will enjoy that one.
I cannot deny my friend that is a beautiful machine but the goldwing will still out perform it in terms of comfort gas mileage insurance runs on 87 compared to 93 smoother shifting especially with the dct and u could buy two goldwings for what u paid for that
Going from a Goldwing to a Harley is like going from a Filet Mignon to a Quarter Pounder! The fit, finish, power, handling, braking, and reliability of a Handa is LIGHT YEARS ahead of that POS Harley!
Was your Goldwing a 1979? I own a 2015 Electra Glide now and it can't compare to my to my 1999 Goldwing that I regretfully sold. The HD cannot compare to a newer Goldwing in any shape, way or form. Oh, by the way. How many cylinders in the Goldwing?
They just finished the goldwing ecu upgrade , they removed the speed limiter and updated the touring shifting.. it now tops out at 130 or 128 and the tour mode is like sport but smoother..strip times went from 12s to 10s ..no other mod was done other than ecu flash.
I respect your choosing cause what's good for you is priceless. However, I am still surprised you made that move from totally, the ultimate touring bike on this planet. Moreover, just the reliability alone cant be compared. A large Honda dealer by me carries so many used HD, they have no more room. Good luck to you.
What a beautiful bike! Truly a “muscle bike” some guys like to shift and some guys like the paddle shifters. Harley to me is very nostalgic and requires drivers input with a few bells/whistles. But it is to me a perfect blend of a raw bike and a tech filled one. Congrats!
No CVO experience however GW and HD owner both very good bikes I'm hearing HD stepped up there game in 2024 bagger wise across both platforms they offer. Definitely a beautiful machine you have. Ride on

@@TwoWheelTherapy-2024 Honda Sets the ECM speed limiter for safety and EPA compliance, because most riders would be over their ability to handle such a performance motorcycle. The Goldwing looks like it should come with a case of Depends for long trips since it’s a geezer bike.😂 The trike version is the only thing that looks goofier but it’s actually more appropriate for the age group this bike looks like it was designed for. To each their own..
It’s rider preference. I’ve ridden all of them. Then K1600 has the best engine. The GW has the lowest center of gravity. The HD is different from both. I’m not a brand snob but can be honest about all the pro’s and cons. No bike is perfect and each bike is bought at the preference of the individual rider. I don’t bash anyone and their preference.
I have a k1600gtl with a Remus full exhaust, modified air intake with k&n filter and ecu flash, and it is a rocket ship. The fastest touring bike there is. It's my favorite bike for sure, and I have several of them.
Looked at the VVT and that may have a little more torque on the low end but this has it beat on the higher end. Also a little easier to upgrade with no VVT.
I have the same bike but in white. Cool to hear about the differences. Only ridden Harley’s myself but I’ve always heard good things about the Honda. They are just plain ugly to me.
Beautiful bike! I love my 22 Harley Road Glide but it doesn’t compare to my 2021 Honda Goldwing Tour. I enjoy them both in different ways. Congrats!

My dream bike right there. Congratulations!! She’s a beauty
The CVO ST with the upgrades will cost about 57k/60k and I’m pretty sure that any motorcycle costing that amount will be nice 👍🏾
From S Class to M5
Ride safe!!
Kind regards.
great looking bike
My God that bike is fine!!

Awesome bike, are those the HD Switchback mirrors ?
How do you like them ?
Good visibility?
I want them for my CVO ST but they’re on back order
My brother, the CVO looks outstanding. Can’t wait to see the rides on the video. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks! Will do!

Speaking of brakes, HD using wave rotors when hardcore 'performance' bikes stopped using them years ago. I guess they're for looks.

I have been riding for years and never had my boots / shoes do that from shifters. Weird. Love the bike!
Yeah I’ve ridden in Timberlands for years and never had that happen. Ordered a Thrashing Supply shifter peg so I’ll try that.
Beautiful bike. Tough call with Goldwing. Both are really great. Different feeling for sure….cool factor goes to HD
Nothing wrong with that. It’s an absolute beauty.
Wow, dont see many guys going from a Gold Wing to a hog. I love the feel of my big ol road glide limited. Surprising nimble for 930 lbs.
This is my third. Goldwing was great but loving this!

Nah. I’ve also ridden dual sports. I tend to go through phases. My wife says I have motorcycle issues.
