Water cooled cylinders removes the fins, completely changing the look. You difference is obvious. HD is doing a good job at hiding the advancements, while keeping some of the character. I’m on a 9 day beach vacation and missing my bike.

I bought this exact bike and love it. Used to hate the shark nose fairing, but the new design grew on me. I now prefer it over the batwing and the frame mount does make a difference at high speeds.

Love the new road glide. I did not like the older shark nose fairing and wanted a liquid cooled engine along with increase power and tech. Well, this checked all the boxes. The new fairing is much better looking, with less buffeting I am a big fan. Problem is I still have buffeting so the first mod I did was add a bigger windshield from klockworks.

I don’t like the heavy pull of the clutch on my 2022 Heritage 114. In fact, I mentioned this to Harley when they sent me a survey not long after I purchased the bike. I also own a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 1000 and that cable controlled clutch is supper easy. Gee, might be because this 2016 Kawasaki has an assist and slipper clutch whereas the Heritage does not.
I have not ridden either of the 2024 Road Glides or Street Glides yet but I’m feeling I won’t like the location of the cruise control switch being on top of the left handle bar switch assembly. I personally like the location of the cruise control switch on my Heritage seeing that it is also on the left handle bar switch assembly but it is easily controlled by my left thumb.
I’m not a fan of a fuel cap that does not lock. I purchased a locking fuel cap from Harley for my Heritage seeing how that too does not have a locking fuel cap. All of my Asian bikes going back to 1986 when I started riding street bikes all had locking fuel caps. The Versys has a locking fuel cap and even my 2018 Kymco Spade 150 has a locking fuel cap. I recently checked Harley’s website for accessories available from Harley and I do not see anything listed for locking fuel caps for the 2024 Road Glide.

Great bike, but man i cannot stand that huge gaudy 'shark's head' faring.
If you could take that off, and take off half of the unnecessary tech, I think it would be awesome.

Blinkers! Haven't heard that in years. My Mom used to say that.
All this talk about locking gas cap? Its probably good that that is a "major" focus. Have you ever had anyone put anything in your gas tank?
I have a 23 CVO RG AND A 23 RG. I have never noticed a difference in clutch pull, riding them back to back.
The battery issue you had, i believe that is a issue. If its not kept on a tender, rode for short city trips, its probably gonna be a problem. A higher amp hour battery is in my CVOs near future. It is a voltage dependent system with all the electronics.
One other small issue i had is the volume control is on the throttle side. A few times slowing down adjusting the volume ive twisted the throttle and its touchy. Those are the only "issues" ive experienced putting miles on my 2 Roadglides in comparison.
Ive also never felt the need for a stage anything. A set of slipons always was enough. Your test bike must have had a problem with the clutch, unless its entirely different on the 121 CVO VVT.
And the comparison between a VTWIN and a flat 6 GL is kinda odd. Its actually a testament to HD to get that much HP and Torque, "Thrust" out of a VTWIN compared to a Flatsix. One other tidbit, comparing the 2, the fuel economy on the 121 and Wing, i did a 300 mile ride on the 121 and got 50 mpg. That was over 2 mountain passes, speed mostly around 50 to 60. But the most a HD has ever delivered. The Wing, 42 on a good day. But personally, iI prefer the VTWIN oner the Flatsix, just the look, a motorcycle compared to a oversized scooter covered in plastic. But owning a wing in the 80s, they are very refined motorcycles and i understand the draw if you desire that, but different tastes for different people. If i was in the market for a new bike, id wait for the 117 or 121 in a Roadking. My CVOs electronics annoy me. I dont use the phones functionality and only pair it for Pandora and to see if i have messages. Its a Android phone and it does do that easily without having to pair a headset. Most of the electronics you didn't get into. But then again, i just dont use them and find it annoying and a distraction. I would be curious if you road a CVO/121 and found the clutch pull the same.

That one has the Day Tripper upgrade package. That’s why it has the sissy bar, mid frame air deflector and heal shifter. Those don’t come on the base models.

Yep, I've had 3 Harleys, ridden over 150 bikes, only two would not start properly in 1st gear, and based on clutch drag (not good). This was simply an uncharged battery. It started just fine in 1st after some miles were put on. One commenter was convinced I didn't know how to work the side stand. It has a side stand warning on the screen, but it was just easier to erase the troll. Thanks for backing me up on this!

They are probably the best choice you could make in the older Harleys. Better than a Twincam 103. Personally, I'd go for a Triumph Rocket 3 instead, because I'm not brand-loyal.

Harley will be thrilled to sell you that. The stereo amp blows kat dick, they have a good amp for sale as well. When you pay$1350 for the blacked out bike, they come with chrome saddlebag opener levers, they have black ones they will sell you. Oh by the way, the formerly standard heel shifter, now an option they’ll be happy to sell you. Harley loves to bit the hand that feeds them. But hey, you can get an iPhone max in the fairing.

Yeah, Android Auto did stop providing service for motorcycles. However, Harley could make Android phones available for free, instead of upcharging another $350! Fuck that. Harley pisses me off, with all of their freakin charges. They want $645 for a fron brake master cylinder reservoir and cover. That's BS. ALL of their prices are BS. I love their bikes, but their parts prices, clothing, service, and everything they sell is overpriced. Yes, I'm probably going to buy the 2024 Road Glide , but I'm pretty freaked out about the Governor situation. I live 5 miles from NHHS. Laconia Bike week is June 7th. I'll ride them every day of bike week, to decide on whether I'm putting down 30k or going with another mfg. I honestly don't know.

No doubt. That is a massive pisser. You're the only that mentions that in any video I've seen so far. It definitely should lock. I can't imagine leaving it in a city parked, without a lock on the tank. They should've addressed that in the build. I don't believe, for a second, they didn't think about it. They knew. Hopefully there's some after market fix, down the road...

@robertbianco6383 I have my first Harley, a 2022 Heritage purchased September 2022. I too do not like that the fuel caps are not locking caps. All my Asian bikes back to 1986 when I started riding street bikes all had locking fuel caps. Shoot, my 2018 Kymco Spade 150 has a locking fuel cap.
I solved the lack of a locking fuel cap on my Heritage by purchasing a locking cap from Harley. Yeah yeah, I know, shouldn’t have had to purchase a locking fuel cap, but I did.
