The finishers took like 6 buttons to execute 😂 This game had a lot of cool elements. Wish they had entrances. It’s funny how at the end of the match everyone just gets up and walks away lol

This needs to be remastered .straight classic
They won’t because it’s wwf and they got sued for using that logo that’s why it’s wwe now they could add this as a dlc but change the name in 2k23 I rather see the smack down vs raw be remastered this 2k crap sucks

Crazy seeing people like The Rock as normal wrestlers on the roster before they would become legends in the newer WWE games.

@@LALakers4life34 I guess I should be more specific. I suppose by normal I meant a regular on the roster during their prime. Just like how Roman Reigns is now, but will one day be considered a legend and a legend in WWE video games in the future.

These times were just the absolute BEST I can’t even begin , playing this on the PS1 back in 1998 then watching RAW with family/cousins on sleep overs , memories on top of memories

This game introduced me to WWF, I was a WCW fan, but the cool adult, dark, more violent presentation of this got me (aged 7 😅).
Had the same situation! As a WCW fan (watching on polish Cartoon Network) me and my brother wanted good wrestling games but the best ones were based on WWF/WWE, so we've gravitated towards these games. The WCW/NWO Thunder were good but we've already had PS1, so N64 seemed a little outdated. Good times though! Greetings from Poland.

I loved the game back in the day and Attitude after that as well but let's be honest - the animation and voice acting were poor in here. :P

some how this is one of the highest selling wrestling games of all time. Smackdown games, No Mercy sales could not even come close to touching this. So weird!!! It's a mid game.

I guess it was because some people realized that maybe adding the real voices to the to the wrestlers wasn’t such a good idea after all.

There are two things I always disliked about War Zone, the random select from the AI and not being allowed to pick your opponent (sometimes it took like 20 minutes just to get the matches you wanted like Undertaker vs Kane or Bret vs Shawn), and the lack of entrances. Aside from that, I spent many so many hours playing this back in the day. Create-A-Wrestler was groundbreaking.
Well, the animation and voice acting in this and Attitude were awful but these games still brought excitement. Good times...

Always was a stone cold fanatic. Had like 5 different shirts I got from Miller's Outpost, and I remember being beyond amazed just cause of the cover. Then I got it and almost broke my control from throwing it when mankind was beating me, haha.

It was already being made before Bret Left. Like the next year they kept Owen a few months after he died. WWF Attitude was already being made or else his family wouldn't have allowed it
