    Great video Andy. Thank you for taking the time to put together a wee bit of history. I was raised in Castlemilk (born 1956 - one of the first babies brought home to the new Castlemilk housing scheme. Great memories as a child, wonderful neighbours, everyone looked out for everyone else, especially the kids, you could get a piece at any door.

    It's been years folks since I've been home castlemilk will always be home to me in my heart I'm proud were I came from and I won't forget it were ever Iam in the world CASTLEMILK it's always with me

    Great really enjoyed X mcneil St, Ballantay rd and changed days now living in tenerife,but will never forget my past and thanks very much for the photos wonderful

    Cracking video. Brought up in ardencraig, remember hiding my coloured band & staying in the swimming for hours then chips down the "new shops" Thanks for the memories.

    Love seeing aw the old pics. I used to live inside the house at the stables in Machrie. We were the last ones to live there. Moved out in '91. Still living in the old Castlemilk it's calmer nowadays.

    hhaha you showed my old school glemwood then my old house right after it the shops on glenacre drive thanks man. very nostalgic.

    liked ur video, but didn't see any pics of machrie drive lived in 55 machrie drive from 1955 to 1971 would luv to see more pics

    lmao i can hardly recognize the place, i used to livee at 77 glenacre drive, looks like the old row of shops is gone now i lived above and the quad looks new built.
