Great version Amy,,, got to see Sandy perform twice in the early 1970s.. used to play this song towards the close of my college radio show followed by Farewell Farewell.. great Thompson lyrics and Swarbrick music .. and the famous Liege and Lief..Sandy thought the Deserter was the best track on that album! Matty Groves and Tam Lin the most famous
