    I am a retired 77 year old RN with a BN and had decided at the age of 26 not to eat any man made food. I grew up with meals made from scratch and meat with vegetables. It was the time when margarines were brought in and were being pushed by health experts however it was created by humans so I said NO to it. I also did not eat any fast food( expensive) rarely drank alcoholic beverages. Initially it was because of cost but then about health. I am very healthy ,exercise and try to get a good night's sleep.

    Just came across Jessie. What a lovely, sweet person she is! Love her enthusiasm, energy and ideas and her infectious smiles. I will pass all these hacks onto my mum who is on the verge of being a diabetic. She can be a bit of a hard work as she doesnt like anyone telling her what to eat or how to eat her food but i will do my best to get her attention. She went down from 7.1 to 6.4 in a space of 6 months but still has a way to go. Thank you, Jessie and Dr. G 😊

      What about Type I diabetics? I tried eating the veggies first and it didn't work that well. My blood sugar still spiked after the meal some of the time. Other times, it stayed more level but that was because I didn't eat that many carbs after the vegetables. It seems so many hacks help type II diabetics, but not type I. 😢

    How does ginger tea work instead of vinegar?

    • @lucez205
      @lucez205 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't know the answer to your question but since I've incorporated magnesium supps and 3/4litre mug of ginger tea daily and also intermittent fasting here and there of up to about 16hrs, but nowadays about 13, I have become very regular. The ginger works for me like a treat. I do not have any problems with my sugar but it must be keeping my weight down, speeds up digestion. As long as your stomach can handle it, try the ginger and see what happenes..

    Hmm.. as far as i'm aware fruit should be eaten separately from meals as it's easier to digest and can interact with other heavy meals.
    Especially if someone has digestive, stomach, acid problems.
    It is very important how you combine food, indeed, just have to be the right and some good old sane logic way.

      Potatoes are doused with Roundup (glyphosate). So they destroy our gut health, spike blood glucose and make us sick. Always look for organic and if you want to lose weight forget about them.

    I paid $25 a month to have an ad free experience on TH-cam and then you go and put ads inside your video! This is not fair and really strikes me as greedy.😡

    A lot of white noise, very little useful information surrounded with ambiguous word salad. Want actual "science" narrative to support the claims being made not carefully crafted BS.None of what she asserts is original or new.
