I’m a Lowrance guy, but have always had Minn kota trolling motor’s. I follow both on Facebook and the Lowrance has so many little things that people have trouble with. After doing a lot of research I’m buying a new motor and I’m going with Minn kota. One other little thing I can’t stand to hear is that R2D2 noise the Lowrance makes when turning.

The Ghost mount doesn't seem to help absorb impact. Mine has broken twice hitting stumps. I've never broken a Minn Kota.
