I need a power drive with I pilot. Other than that I want it bear bones. I don’t need sonar or one boat network. 24 volts and I think it only comes in a 60” version bare bones.

Can you provide more details on what is needed to make a V1 unit operational after installing a V2 board? I didn’t know the foot pedal would need replaced? Mine has the copilot installed. my talon stopped deploying once in a while 2 weeks ago, a week ago it deployed only 25% of the time and now it doesnt deploy at all, it seems like it tries to deploy but then then fail and beeps 3 times as it gives up on trying. any idea what the issue could be? cheers

I'm cheap. I use a transom trolling motor to hold me in the current. Then my minn kota all terrain bow mount trolling motor to hold my bow in position. It sound complicated. But, once you do it. It's easy peasy

Here's the problem most are not talking about. Not long after the warranty on a Minn Kota is done, the internal gears strip out and you're stuck with an expensive boat anchor. The older models went forever, the newer units are not worth it in the long term.

I bought a Powerdrive in 2020. Absolute garbage for 2.5 years, then I brought it to a different shop and voila, ran like a champ for a year until I put an Ultrex on the boat. I keep it around as a spare for tourneys now.

Everything mentioned in the video is accurate. On my previous Ranger FS621 I had a Force. On this Ranger FS 620 I put a Kraken for the longer shaft. From the operational perspective I really DO NOT like the Kraken. It is VERY difficult to deploy and stow. I doubt that many women and most kids could lift or lower it.

I have another issue with my ultrex. I have already had the motor lock up and not turn so the sensor board did repair that issue. I had water in the lower unit or foot so I bought a whole new lower assembly and replaced with it working as should. Now I have the foot controller clicking with flashing lights when I step on the throttle button. I bought a new power button and replaced but did not fix the issue. I have had nothing but problems with this trolling motor but I do like the ipilot so I stick with it. I don't want to buy a new trolling motor after having bought a new Vexus and installed trolling motor less than 2 years ago. Can anyone help out? To clarify, the foot controller turns on as should but clicks and flashes when stepping on throttle button. The unit will turn as should but will not spin?
