  • We take the new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Highland for a spin to see if it's improved over the last or outgoing Model 3. Does it still have all the panel gap issues? Does it look better? Does it drive better? Find out in this video where I show you everything new and my experience with it.

I’ve only just become aware of your channel and I’m very impressed. Highly eloquent and professional feel to your review. I own a 2019 model 3 and fear. It may be my last because the idiotic decision to remove the stalks is quite unfathomable. I can’t see how negotiating roundabouts can be done properly With changing indicators on a spinning steering wheel. A very bad idea. Please keep up the good work. I look forward to your other videos.
Edit. I forgot to say what a brilliant idea to allow delivery drivers to drop stuff in the boot when you’re not around. I’ve never thought of that. Thanks for that as well.

Thank you so much. The roundabout bit really irked me and I don’t understand their logic, they could have at least place it on either sides to make it easier. Thank you again

I have had this car for a few days now. I can only assume the car reviewed here is a dealer demo that has been trashed by some slobby TH-cam reviewer before GadgetsBoy took delivery. I do not recognise my car in this review. Build quality is excellent, like perfect, I went over the whole car before accepting it and didn't find anything out of place or looking wonky. The ride quality is much improved from the previous Model 3, the cabin noise much quieter, and the improvements to the cabin, while subtle, are much more premium feeling. I was worried, I really was, after all I was buying a Tesla. But I worried for nothing, this thing is awesome. And while the lack of stalks kept me awake at night during the last few months it has become a total non-issue so quickly. No lie, after just a few days I don't even think about it anymore, I honestly don't. Great car.

As i have just ordered, your comments are reassuring (I could cancel, lose the €250). I far prefer the design/shape over the Seal but have reservations, i.e: No driver display/HUD, shifter, stalks. Also, does it have creep & roll options as not mad about 1-peddle drive? 4-yr warranty, no spare / repair kit all stingy. Concern about changing heating/AC while driving. Not sure how much downside no Apple Carplay is? Rear screen a waste for me. Not keen on sparse interior (prefer Seal's).

@@GadgetsBoy Any winding road will do to show up a cars dynamic issues if they have it. The Seal is not that well balanced in the corners by the appearance of it on the track. North American drives won't be bothered as their roads are mostly straight with sweeping bends. Perhaps the same is true of China. UK country roads... well you know what they can be like.

Even if you have it in and for the small chance it detects wrongly, you override it on the screen. The car won’t move until you press the brake. So you would be at fault. For not reading the screen properly and assuming. People forget all these features are for assistance with driving and should not be solely relied on. Especially in places like the UK where they are yet to give the green light for full autonomy

The speed limit thing is a legal requirement for the EU (which UK also adopted), its not a Tesla thing (including the fact you cant save the "off" setting - write to your MP not to Tesla).
One other minor corrections, the new Model 3 is not Tesla's most aero car, not sure why they put out that press line when yhey hsve previously said that the Model S has a .208 coefficient, which is lower than .219 last I checked.
