- A 48hr test drive for the Polestar 2, so I took it for a spin and checked out its efficiency over a road trip in 1 day!!! Travelled to NEC Birmingham UK from Peterborough (150 miles) just to see how it records its mileage and how the car felt on such a journey.
Welcome once again, a lovely test drive of the Electric Polestar 2. I love getting to test drive these vehicles and learning more about how these vehicles behave. Short walk around the Polestar 2 with a detailed interior entertainment screen.
I have started this channel as a novice and a new electric car owner. I will document the adventures of changing from Combustion/diesel engine to Electric vehicle.
I will share news and other car reviews that I can get hold of, with the emphasis on spreading good news about electric vehicles and debunking scare stories out there about switching. I will be as honest as possible and hopefully build a community of new electric car owners and drivers. I will share any issues I encounter and how did I dealt with them. This will include what electric tariff I am on to best serve me. The road may appear bumpy but so far, i am loving the EV.

What speeds were you going? it appears it was 62 to 65 mph .. not kilometers, right? In the states, were I am normal traffic is around 80 mph so I'm trying to understand the range at those kinds of speeds.
On the limit, 70mph and sometimes 65 as l was using cruise a lot just as l drive normally so l could measure it correctly. It impressed me
My next thing is Air to Air Heat pump then have the gas cut off
I hear, they're better than Air to water! Keep us posted
@@letsgoelectriclge1320 Yes they dont get much attention, they are so much cheaper than Air to Water that needs to have the house ripped apart, im not havving a water tank fitted as thats expensive and no one these days has a bath , for the kitchen and bathroom you can get under sink water heaters but i just use 2 kettles as i live alone . for 5 or 6 months a year i run of my battery so dont ues any gas at all . When i first turned off the heating for the summer i found that just me doing the washing up and having a shave cost over £10 a month so i went to Tesco and got a £6 kettle for the bathroom, The A2A im having is less tha £5k and from all the videos ive seen ppl are very happy with them .
@@letsgoelectriclge1320 Hi i just sent you a long reply and its gone missing , if you cant see it ill write again , best wishes
Sounds like a no Brainerd although thinking of future selling of the house, but lm sure there will be the cooker tech for warm water for the bath.
@@letsgoelectriclge1320 if i had the government grant of £7,500 the heat pump it would mean id have to have all my pipe work removed and an expensive water tank i think id have to pay so much for all the extras where as with the Air to Air a house only need about 3 or 4 heaters that go one the walls and work as aircon too . im having a heat pump and 3 units for under %k and will be done in a day . my previous message was much longer, im not having a hot water tank but you can for the bathroom and kitchen get under sink water heaters.
