the biggest issue I'm noticing with your reviews is you guys are not taking into account the songwriting and storytelling elements of the song which is why you don't understand why they do certain things and don't like the chorus' its part of the storytelling you guys don't seem to care at all about the lyrical content at all and thats where the major disconnect is coming from you don't seem to care about even understanding what the song is about so you keep missing why certain things are a certain way and to change them or take them out of the song would take away from it content and storytelling wise
That's why I said they act like kpoppies and they have the same logic in their reviews. And I don't take kpoppies seriously for that so I wonder why should I do this for these guys.
this is the biggest problem I have with them tbh because while they can argue that they care about the music, they tend to comment on certain things without having the full context. like the “ahem” in ugh for example but unfortunately I don’t think they care enough.
Obviously they are not interested, they just want to make content to make money, check all their reactions and it's always the same, they always reject a song for simple things like pausing the song in the video, the lyrics repeating too much, a background sound, they look for the stupidest excuses to talk bad about a song or group. I'm starting to think they are both haters.
I think one of the problems of the group is that they are very sticky to concepts, even more than the production itself. I particurly don't like the Pdogg style of production, and RM and the boys do their best to take the best of the storytelling.
@@amanda20057 you say that they follow concepts very much as if that is a bad thing? many music we hear today in the pop industry and even in the kpop industry lack actual, deeper meaning, which ultimately all originates from not having a strong concept and meaning in their albums to base their songs on. bts sets a different bar on "concepts" for their albums, which is why their songs have a deeper meaning most of the time than surface level. this is only one of the many reasons why army is such a big fandom -- many people can relate to and appreciate the deeper level in their music.
All the reasons/criticism mentioned in the reaction: -I don't understand -it's okay -it shouldn't be like that -it's bizarre -I don't know -Is it necessary Throughout the video, I waited for genuine criticism and got none. If you really want to continue with these reactions, then try to dig deeper into the lyrics, musicality, and storyline.
I'm not hating, but I think you're just looking for a way to mock every song with the title “Kpop Hater”. this is very embarrassing. just leave bts if you don't really understand music and just want to make content to make money
I think you should hate there seems to be a VERY common pattern where they don’t seem to like anything whatsoever like literally I just watch the last 7 resent reaction videos the I wouldn’t they there where just reacting they where hating on every song they need to stop reacting to K-pop and go with something else maybe write a song and we’ll see what shit show that it
These guys made me realize that knowing “musical terminologies” doesn’t mean you understand music and I wanna thank them for that. Bangtan ain’t for everyone. Having a problem with Louder Than Bombs?
I’m gonna watch their reaction but honestly as soon as they said they didn’t like RMs solo, I was done. ( Man’s famed for his lyrics and artistic style by critics worldwide.) After going through their reaction, I got one thing straight. These people don’t understand as much about music as they think they do. First of all BTS are a performance act. Their music is always better live. The reason their songs are written, composed and produced in a certain way are always for a specific reason. 134340 is like that because it’s a song that compares the situation of Pluto with lovers. That’s why it’s cyclical and repitative. UGH is a hype song because it’s a hip hop song, the lyrics are far deeper than you can understand and that chorus was like that for a reason. If you actually attempted to explore the song you’d know. As for Tear, it’s such a special song for BTS and ARMY. It’s heartbreaking that’s why it’s almost violent with that pain. They’re singing about someone being their tear(😢), tear (as in rip) and fear. If y’all had a poetic bone in your body you’d understand. Anyways I don’t want to waste more of my time commenting on such disrespectful take. If you weren’t interested in them, nobody forced you to react to them. Now I’ve been as civil as I can be. I apologise if it bothers you.
Yeah kinda the same. I didn't expect anything deep from these guys because they prefer manufactured puppets on stage with meaningless dated recycled construction loud noises. But I had hopes.
they're just like, i like this part and i don't like this part, score,Next song, i like this part and i don't like this part, score... The moment that they said that they don't like RM mixtape you could tell they like just these songs with dududu bang bang ratata birubiry lyrics
A little context 134340 is actually the designation number of Pluto given to it after it lost its status as a planet so the song lyrics are from the perspective of Pluto and its feeling of sadness and abandonment now that it's no longer a planet Outro: Tear was written during a time when the members were considering breaking up so the lyrics represent the different emotions felt during that time RM the sadness with tears(crying), Suga the anger and wanting to tear (rip apart) everything, Jhope the fear of what is to come in the future (I highly recommend watching the live performance of Outro:tear it is very emotional)
I don't know why yall still waste your time in the comments of this channel, they clearly dgaf about the meaning of anything and nitpick stuff to hate on, like just stop asking for videos, giving recommendations and watching
You clearly don't know much about BTS to think they are JUST performer, i advise you see their discography, storyline, Love yourself series and lyricism.
Ahem is Korean Yangban (noble) sound of disapproval. All the noises and lyrics has a social commentary meaning to it so it has more contextual meaning if a Korean speaker listens to it. It may sound weird and repetitive to a nonKorean speaking person but it has a weird satisfying feeling everytime I listen to it. 욱해 ugh is basically to me saying it's okay to be angry.
In BTS's song "UGH!", the lyrics primarily express a deep frustration and anger towards societal issues, particularly the blind, pointless aggression and negativity that often surfaces online, highlighting the feeling of being "sick of" this meaningless anger and the desire for it to be channeled constructively instead of being directed aimlessly. Key points about the lyrics meaning: Criticism of mindless anger: The repeated "UGH!" exclamation signifies a strong sense of annoyance and disgust towards pointless aggression. Social commentary: The lyrics touch upon the phenomenon of people hiding behind anonymity to express malicious anger online, criticizing the desensitization to negativity in society. Desire for positive action: While expressing frustration, the song also seems to encourage using anger constructively for meaningful change instead of just venting it out aimlessly
i dont even listen to bts but im so glad i clicked on this. i only listen to skz but i really like all of these songs. even the parts they had an issue with i dont think was bad at all. funny bc i was so prepared to laugh along these guys hating on the songs like the usual. the rappers are so good. can anyone point me to more songs by them that are similar to these pls
(This is a template comment I made for YT reactors, so pls bear with me) People hardly know this but BTS has a very strong Hip Hop element on their music, especially old school hip hop. 2 of the members came from underground rappers (RM and Suga/Agust D) and 1 from hip hop street dancer (j-hope). So yea.. they're really good. And they really were and still are the students of the game. This list right here are some of their best songs and tracks. Please react to these : 1. *Monster* by RM (og track from Grown Simba, J.Cole) 2. *Hip Hop Phile* (here they pay homage to the legendss. Talkin abt Tupac, Biggie, JayZ, Nas, Rakim, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg (also specifically talkin abt the album Illmatic, The Chronic, Doggy Style and 2002 too) they also mentioned KRS-ONE, Kendrick Lamar, Gang Starr, Pete Rock, CL Smooth, J.Cole and a lot more. And they basically telling their stories of how they got deep into the culture). 3. *Cypher pt.1-4* by the Rap Line (straight up Cyphers, and pt. 1-3 they added some old school Boom Bap typa beat) 4. *Joke* by RM (og track by Run The Jewels, Oh My Darling) 5. *Born Singer* (og by Born Sinner, J.Cole) 6. *Agust D* and *Daechwita* by Agust D 7. *Persona* by RM (mixed of hip hop and a lil bit of rock) 8. *Sexy Nukim* by Balming Tiger ft. RM 9. *Ddaeng* by the Rap Line (traditional instrument, mixed with trap beat) 10. *Snooze* by Agust D 11. *Strange* by Agust D ft. RM 12. *Change* by RM ft. Wale 13. *Please Don't Die* by RM ft. Warren G 14. *Look Here* I suggest to check out the lyric videos, or MV with lyrics. Bcs their wordplay is amazing, and also deep. These tracks right here serve Vocal, Raps, Lyrics/stories, instruments, just high quality productions. And honestly some of them are pretty underrated and TRUST ME.. just TRUST MEE You will love them Btw thank you
It's an old translation, it was released less than 30 minutes after the album dropped. This types of videos usually have problems with word games which are RM's speciality.
I agree that these guys shine in performance. Tear are straight up fun to watch. The fact they wrote about Pluto (134340), about the wasted energy of anger when it could be used for positive change (Ugh), about getting your homework done instead of watching BTS videos all the time (Pied Piper), and a near disbandment (Tear) feeds my little nerdy soul. Thanks for checking these B sides out.
Yup, Tear is not a song about tears but about expectations that were not meet, feeling betrayed and disbandment, so the emotions were actually very on point.
I’m not saying that they scored “wrong” because is everything about opinion, BUT the big problem we have, is that they do not watch the explanation… I love so much the songs, but I don’t like when they just say it doesn’t make sense the line because they don’t want to look for the meaning 😪 (i know the score was supposed to be higher in those songs if the had watched)
The song “Louder than Bombs” by BTS conveys the message that people should speak themselves, and that the listeners will continue to listen and sing. The song tells the story of how fear and sadness grow as people encounter stories of pain around the world. The song's title comes from a line in Elizabeth Smart's poem By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept.
Every single reaction you make are clic bailt, you don't even focus on the music and the lyrics. Army please ignore these reactions and focus on our members these guys just want to find a reason to hate on the guys and their art.
To those reaction video creators who think it’s okay to trash BTS while using their content to gain views: shame on you. Especially the one who called himself kpop fan. Seriously? If you don’t like BTS, that’s your opinion, and you’re entitled to it. But to profit off their work, get attention from their fanbase, and then disrespect the artistry, and idol, storytelling, and hard work behind their music and videos? That’s low, and it’s downright hypocritical. If you’re making reaction videos, at least have the decency to be constructive to their hardwork. There’s a difference between genuine critique and outright disrespect. You don’t have to be a fan, but dismissing their artistry as “crap” or “pointless” only reflects your lack of understanding. These seven men have spent years perfecting their craft, building a global legacy, and pouring their hearts into their music and stories. Their art goes beyond just catchy tunes-it’s about messages, narratives, and connecting deeply with their audience. If you can’t appreciate that, maybe BTS’s content isn’t for you, and that’s fine. But instead of dragging their work down for clicks, why not focus on something you genuinely enjoy? Criticism without knowledge or respect doesn’t make you a bold content creator; it just shows your ignorance. To those who genuinely review BTS’s work, even if your feedback isn’t 100% positive, I respect you. Honest opinions, when delivered respectfully, add to the conversation. But tearing down an artist while making money off their work is lazy and shameful. If you can’t recognize the dedication, artistry, and storytelling behind BTS’s music, then maybe it’s time to reevaluate whether you’re in the right space to be critiquing music and art at all. Their storytelling isn’t just for entertainment; it’s a reflection of life, struggles, and dreams. Dismissing it says more about you than it does about them. Respect the work or move on. Anything less is just clout-chasing at its worst.
I get that you are taking these song at face value, but the best parts of BTS' music is the meaning behind the lyrics and MVs. If you take the time to understand the songs, they bump the music up to the next level.
Yall cant sit here and criticize a song when you admit to not understanding the lyrics 😂😂.. BTS music are like onions with multiple layers and meaning...yall need to remember theres a cultural differences..ugh which is full of cultural context, 134340 is about pluto being abandoned, Tear is them talking about a time they thought they were going to disband, pied piper is literally a diss track to their fans for being too obsessed...Louder than bombs has deep meaning... If you actually want to learn doolset lyrics is where you go to get proper translations
One thing about the dude on the right is that he doesn't know how to vibe. He just keeps studying music like a freaking math. He barely even grooved (not saying that bcs I personally love the songs here) but if you really have the music blood in you, your body will speak for you before you can even think of anything to even comment on the song. He "thinks", when he's supposed to "feel". Remember, there was a time when music is all instruments, with no singing or rapping.
If you didn't like RMs solo music no fcking way I'm watching thos shit!! RMs music is critically acclaimed and im not going to watch someone reacting to music when they know nothing about music.
A bomb is sudden and explosive. The motif makes sense if you’re into poetry. Your critique is valid but lacking in various avenues in my opinion. Seems very limited.
Exactly, I'm no music expert but I got it on the first listen that the chorus of ltb is supposed to be that jarring. It is very intentional. Same with outro tear. RMs verse is a bit intense cuz of the emotions behind the lyrics. They are actually not giving a fair chance to the songs of they're not even reading the lyrics let alone understanding the context. I'm not saying that all bts songs need to be praised by everyone but stating that a song shouldn't even exist cuz it's not to your taste is a bit exaggerated.
I think the reason BTS' fans are so devoted is because BTS makes music that gets better the more you listen to it, research it, watch different performances, look up different translations, and see how the different songs connect within a larger story. It's music for geeks who are into stories and complexity. That's why it's often frustrating to watch reactors make snap judgments about BTS songs from a single listen. Their best-loved songs by fans aren't bangers that are easy to listen to...they're subtle and layered puzzle-boxes.
Unfortunately, jaeguchi tends to get member lines mixed up (who is singing what) and I think they just run lyrics through google translate so they're often either wrong or showing words in the wrong context so getting the wrong meaning.
honestly, i appreciate kazinho 's honesty he is genuinely giving solid commentary and its refreshing, but it feels like atom is grasping for something to hate on as if he is going into the video with the intent of hating it or he is just echoing the other person's opinion
This is where meaning is essential. The song mirrors the corcling of pluto in structure. Endlessly circling. Pluto has had its name and meaning stripped. Not even a proper name any longer just a number designation. How they relate that to a human experience makes this far from the simple song you think it is. BTS you are going to have to look a bit deeper
What I understood after watching this reaction that chorus and prechorus are the main criteria for songs here and the reactors unfortunately simply don't know what to say or maybe don't want to dive deep. First time here and I'm disappointed.
I don't think BTS would be for everyone, but these guys are prolific lyricists and you need to unpack what they are saying or have a sense of what the story telling is about. If you go to some of the raplines songs, and watch the video and then watch an explanation video it would help. Some songs such as UGH, DDaeng, or Baepsae have the song explained by a Korean. You are looking at very basic elements like where sound is placed or where elements of the lyrics aren't needed but you have no clue what they are singing about.. They use some simple beats first often as a homage to hip hop origins but also as a back drop to their story telling.
You weren't big on RM solos lol. What solo projects did you do. RM has the highest critically acclaimed solo albums out of the members. I can't figure out if you act like kpoppies logic some times or not.
I don't think they released that video on TH-cam I can't find it... I'm curious what they listened too as well... But clearly lyrics are not a priority just look at what they said in this video... Excuse me tear a hype song?.. I know these guys are so frustrating I don't know why I bother listening to them...clearly they are just looking for attention and offending army is a good way to do that lol
@@rebeccabeebe1 They have the mentality of kpoppies who are proud of listening to dumb music. But now that you pointed it out you are right. What exactly is hype about Tear or UGH I don't get whatsoever. Tear is an emotional song with emotional music that showcases anguish and UGH is a song about haters with cultural references and expresses anger not hype just like the meaning of it. Either they are too low IQ to grap those simple facts like kpoppies or say nonsense just for the sake of it and to find nonexistent flaws where there are not any. How you wanna bet that they refer to RM's latest album that most kpoppies with low IQ could not comprehend it's genius while actual western reactors and music critics and professionals praise it and is in the lists with the greatest albums in 2024 with the highest rating.
The outro tear is an absolute masterpiece, all parts of the song and especially all parts of the lyrics from all three rappers. The song is about their potential breakup, but also refers to all kinds of breakups and love fatigue in general. In the top 3 best BTS songs ever for me.
The lyrics of BTS's "Outro: Tear" convey the pain of boys who are facing parting. The song's lyrics use both "tear" (tir; as in crying) and "tear" (ter; as in ripping apart) to rhyme with "fear". SUGA wrote the lyrics for "Tear" for the members of BTS. He said that when he was writing the melody, the group was deeply considering whether to quit, and that when he played the song for them, they all cried together. The LOVE YOURSELF series by BTS conveys the message that loving oneself is the beginning of true love. The LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'TEAR' album focuses on the pain of boys who are facing parting.
The closest western equivalent to the Korean 'ugh' is when an old fogey politician is written making a disapproving 'Harrumph' sound, which is something like 'ahem' but gruff and disapproving. You don't see that word used much anymore.
@kpx, OK, let me inform you two guys that these color-coded lyrics are not the best in interpretation of Korean metaphors and cultural references. Not to mention the subtitles are not that accurate.! Other words, then color-coded lyric channels are capitalizing on the artist music, which is technically pretty dirty! If you want to know, references of the Korean idioms, cultural and metaphors, I would recommend either DKDK TV or Bookish Theories for an accurate explanation, whether you do it on your channel or behind the scenes on your own. UGH was performed by the three rappers of BTS and the best live performance was at the “ Yet To Come” Busan Performance, it was actually their last performance before going into their solo work as well as military enlistments. Please watch the live performances of these choice B-sides of BTS, I think it would hit differently to you the definite live band or live performances at a concert hits so much better whether you do it on your channel or in your own spare time to watch it, but I think that you’re rating was underwhelming and not enthusiastic enough to draw me back to your channel The rating system is pretty weird considering you would go as high as 13 to be the upper echelon of what you considered epitome. Of music and be wasting our time as well as your own by reacting to it. TH-cam reactors such as yourself who react to K-pop or in this instance BTS, who are not really considered K-pop anymore their international artist you can put them in the same category as Bruno Mars Drake Taylor, Swift that’s what you call western pop or western R&B or western rap! Since their diversity of many genres of music and K-pop is not a genre, it is an industry that was created by the South Korean agencies. K-pop is not just pop. God, I wish you two reactors would do some homework and educate himself a little bit, especially about K-pop or or the groups they are going to react to. The formulation of K-pop is different than western pop the agencies that are in South Korea compared to the United States or in European countries are a lot different and maybe you should do an informational video on the industry of K-pop. By doing that, I think educating yourself on the type of music that K-pop incorporates it’s formulation of multi genres of music even in one song and that is the normal ingredients Of K-pop! My rating for you too as far as reacting to BTS by using your chart standards maybe a 6.5!💜
No hate, but i wanna know what qualifications do you guys have to judge music? Musicians or casual listeners? If you guys er casual listeners then sorry to say, avoid listening to this type of music and stick to your usual routines!
Army loves Pied piper we know its for us so of course wed love it. Ita okay if not everyone likes it but at least Army loves it. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
this made me realise smth: just because you don’t understand something it doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense it just shows how you are not qualified or open enough to get it.
Yall have to understand this channel isnt focus on lore or what they are saying...they just listen to music and not everyone is going to like bts music let alone understand the story...and as far as we know they probably heard things similar or have same similarities....we are fans so we obviously dive deeper into our groups and understand and will listen to anything our artist release even if its bad and most of yall wont admit that but i will admit when my favorite artists just didnt bring it like how i wanted...ugh is not my favorite but i like pied piper
48:09 😅, that's definitely the translation. It happens all the time. I don't know why people change the lyrics into those things when they create these kind of color coded videos.
I'm not even going to waste my time. If you like SHALLOW artists with no content whatsoever, don't react to BTS, simple. Stay there with your "ratatata" and let real artists be appreciated by those who really understand music. ❤️
All these songs are 10x better live Go in your car with the windows up, bass all the way up and just listen to louder than bombs and it gives you something waaaay different. The studio versions don’t have the emotions and feeling that they deserve
😔 *sigh* it's not like the fans recommend the songs mainly bc they expect you to like the production of the songs, it could be bc of the meaning of the song, when it's made, what's it for, or maybe it's special for both the fandom and the artist, especially when it's not a title track suggestion but a b-side. But it's fine, I get that u don't understand the lyrics bc of language barrier but it's not a good idea to comment on it like that when you don't understand why people like it in the first place, there's a reason y the fans like the song (even if it's different from one another) and recommend it despite you finding some flaws after hearing the song and thought it'd be better if they change this or that. (And I'm not just referring to bts, I'm referring to every artists out there that you had reacted to or will have to react to in the future) So Pls take those factors into consideration when you reviews more suggested songs in the future. *Thank you* (Understanding the how people from another country uses English mix with their language can be very important for you to fully get the messages they're trying to conveyed Bc you are rating A KOREAN song NOT AN ENGLISH song 😅)
Ugh! Doesn’t translate that well, tbh. I think watching the “explained by a Korean” video by dkdktv helps a lot bc there’s a lot of linguistic and cultural details that non-Korean listeners won’t get. For example they aren’t even saying “ugh” but are actually using a Korean word that represents a quick rush of anger.
One of the biggest problems with 'serious musician' western reactors who are self-styled 'kpop haters', is that they don't focus on ALL the aspects of a song. Because they don't care enough about learning, they only care about their own 'expertise' and getting clicks No interest in the theme of the song, or understanding its cultural/historical significance or references, or diving into decent lyric translations that parse the Korean wordplay - all of which are important elements in much of BTS' music
Everyone is free to have their own opinion but i guess i don't get commenting so decisively on lyrics or certain decisions when you can't understand the meaning, intent and cultural significance behind them.

just went back to look at the rm song you reacted to and its by faaaar the worst of any of his solo stuff- if youre up for it i highly recommend his most recent album! i dont listen to any but a few boy groups/male soloists (kpop or not!) and yet his solo album this year actually made it to the top 3 of the year for me! some of his english rap is kind of mid but when he gets going in korean the flow is so good you dont mind having to look up the lyrics at all :)
I’m fine with people not living bts’ music because it all comes down to taste and different opinions are ok. I just don’t like when people go into a review already thinking negatively. It feels bad faith
Not gonna lie, I was expecting something concrete from this reaction but I realized the reactors seem not to care much about the fact that BTS do not use the conventional “American Style” rap. The comments take away from the uniqueness of each song. Calling things “stupid”, “bad” “waste of beat” it’s their opinion but I don’t want ARMYs to keep hammering at them. BTS songs aren’t for everyone. Reacting to the music without understanding the music and the purpose for its lyrics is also allowed. Freedom of speech and opinion. If an American rapper had any of these beat and chord arrangements, it’ll be on the charts for weeks. Not trying to bring in race but it is what it is.💜
They are reviewing like they are great singer. Just the audacity to sing jimin's part. I mean just hear ur voice man, u r just making fun of yourself. By the way u guys are good at mocking, make that as a business to gain money.
Kpop hater click bait is getting old. It says nothing except that you are juvenile and biased enough that I don't want to give you a chance. Sorry, no view from me.
This is the correct and exciting reaction, don't pause too much while watching/listening, they finish first until the end and then discuss it. 👍🏾I like this channel, my new favorite channel. 🎉greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩
Bruh louder than Bombs was the song every fan wanted to hear live and they are finding faults in it 😂 good for u and the fan person you better don't call yourself a fan next time😅 I'm sorry if I offend you but you don't seem like one🎉
You should watch the live performance of UGH. It goes even harder than the studio version. And please watch the explanation video by dkdtv. Almost all videos have explanation videos. you can check dkdtv (English explanation by a Korean - he explains cultural references and wordplay) and bookish theories...
the biggest issue I'm noticing with your reviews is you guys are not taking into account the songwriting and storytelling elements of the song which is why you don't understand why they do certain things and don't like the chorus' its part of the storytelling you guys don't seem to care at all about the lyrical content at all and thats where the major disconnect is coming from you don't seem to care about even understanding what the song is about so you keep missing why certain things are a certain way and to change them or take them out of the song would take away from it content and storytelling wise

this is the biggest problem I have with them tbh because while they can argue that they care about the music, they tend to comment on certain things without having the full context. like the “ahem” in ugh for example but unfortunately I don’t think they care enough.

I think one of the problems of the group is that they are very sticky to concepts, even more than the production itself. I particurly don't like the Pdogg style of production, and RM and the boys do their best to take the best of the storytelling.

All the reasons/criticism mentioned in the reaction:
-I don't understand
-it's okay
-it shouldn't be like that
-it's bizarre
-I don't know
-Is it necessary
Throughout the video, I waited for genuine criticism and got none.
I totally agree
ok yall do too much, pied piper's prechorus is one of it's best parts
lol I agree.
I’m gonna watch their reaction but honestly as soon as they said they didn’t like RMs solo, I was done. ( Man’s famed for his lyrics and artistic style by critics worldwide.)
After going through their reaction, I got one thing straight.
@@pennybleta2300 Don't have any more hope.
they're just like, i like this part and i don't like this part, score,Next song, i like this part and i don't like this part, score... The moment that they said that they don't like RM mixtape you could tell they like just these songs with dududu bang bang ratata birubiry lyrics
These guys got no taste.
@@davimoraes3731 Exactly this.
A little context 134340 is actually the designation number of Pluto given to it after it lost its status as a planet so the song lyrics are from the perspective of Pluto and its feeling of sadness and abandonment now that it's no longer a planet
Outro: Tear was written during a time when the members were considering breaking up so the lyrics represent the different emotions felt during that time RM the sadness with tears(crying), Suga the anger and wanting to tear (rip apart) everything, Jhope the fear of what is to come in the future (I highly recommend watching the live performance of Outro:tear it is very emotional)
I don't know why yall still waste your time in the comments of this channel, they clearly dgaf about the meaning of anything and nitpick stuff to hate on, like just stop asking for videos, giving recommendations and watching
I agree with previous statements. You ask why it has to be so hype. Its hype music because BTS are performers. These songs sound 10 X better live.
Not all their songs are hype though, yet they can perform them live as well. Example: Rain.
It's hype because it's literally about anger
Key points about the lyrics meaning:
Criticism of mindless anger:
The repeated "UGH!" exclamation signifies a strong sense of annoyance and disgust towards pointless aggression.
Social commentary:
The lyrics touch upon the phenomenon of people hiding behind anonymity to express malicious anger online, criticizing the desensitization to negativity in society.
Desire for positive action:
While expressing frustration, the song also seems to encourage using anger constructively for meaningful change instead of just venting it out aimlessly
They got no taste
i dont even listen to bts but im so glad i clicked on this. i only listen to skz but i really like all of these songs. even the parts they had an issue with i dont think was bad at all. funny bc i was so prepared to laugh along these guys hating on the songs like the usual. the rappers are so good. can anyone point me to more songs by them that are similar to these pls
Paradise, ddaeng by the rap line and best of me are really good too, in my opinion.
just listen to the whole of love yourself: tear (its an album) cos all the songs on there are jams and are similar to some you hear in this video! 💜
(This is a template comment I made for YT reactors, so pls bear with me)
People hardly know this but BTS has a very strong Hip Hop element on their music, especially old school hip hop.
2 of the members came from underground rappers (RM and Suga/Agust D) and 1 from hip hop street dancer (j-hope).
So yea.. they're really good. And they really were and still are the students of the game.
This list right here are some of their best songs and tracks.
Please react to these :
1. *Monster* by RM (og track from Grown Simba, J.Cole)
2. *Hip Hop Phile* (here they pay homage to the legendss. These tracks right here serve Vocal, Raps, Lyrics/stories, instruments, just high quality productions.
And honestly some of them are pretty underrated and TRUST ME.. just TRUST MEE
You will love them
Btw thank you
My favourites are house of cards, run, come back to me (rm solo), dis-ease and intro: boy meets evil
@@rowanconnolly1352 fellow army, you have good taste! boy meets evil and house of cards are immaculate songs ✨️
both times when it said poop i think it translates more to shit, and not in the feces way but in the "things" way lmao 💀
Yeah I think I personally woud translate it to "filth"
You need to see the live performances of these songs to really understand and appreciate the vocals
Nah they don't need to see anything, they only do this for the views lol they don't care
Trust me dear, if they don’t appreciate it while reading the lyrics, they would be lost when watching the performances so never mind.
If you actually want to learn doolset lyrics is where you go to get proper translations
that is just jimin’s voice with some layering with stacked vocals. they wouldn’t do something different for his voice specifically.
Sigh. These dudes 🤦🏾♀️
134340 is actually another name for pluto and the song is a play on how it was kicked out of the solar system
Yeah,,seriously, ifk what These thinks about thrmselves!!
Sitting down, doing nothing😂 and nothing is up to their standards..😒😑
Para mi punto de vista, a ellos les gusta buscar "errores o imperfecciones" en cualquier canción xd jaja
I think I picked the wrong video to watch for my first kpx experience.
I have watched other kpx videos, and based on their normal critique, this is good. So basically this is kpx
they are just giving away opinions based on nothing because they're not musicians
the guy on the left thinks he’s him 😭
Merci 🙏
Dont let me jump through the screen and fight you guys... Pied piper?? You had a problem with this gem?? I can't take you guys seriously at all. 😅😅.
I braced myself up till the 28th minute… ok enough of this, i’m logging out
Smart people know how to appreciate the art that these songs are.
The closest western equivalent to the Korean 'ugh' is when an old fogey politician is written making a disapproving 'Harrumph' sound, which is something like 'ahem' but gruff and disapproving. You don't see that word used much anymore.
Ugh is such a freaking jam.
My rating for you too as far as reacting to BTS by using your chart standards maybe a 6.5!💜
Thank you for commenting. I trust ARMY. Deleting this channel.
Trying to be relevant again😭😭they are trying so hard, some of the things they say does not make sense at all
honestly some better suggestions but could’ve been better ILL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET FR
I think the biggest part to this more about the lyrics. And the meaning. Since this was written when they were thinking about disbanding.
The first song is called Pluto cause the number are the corinants of Pluto.
this made me realise smth: just because you don’t understand something it doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense it just shows how you are not qualified or open enough to get it.
I just hate you guys, talking down on people's hardwork
df not watching this channel's videos again :)
Also jimins voice live is like that as well its high with no effects on it as well.
R y'all sure the guy on the right is a fan? 💀
Do your homework please... U only swimming on the surface of BTS.. 😅😂
I love al these songs, and the lyrics are amazing. BTS livs is the best.
Yall gotta do the meaning behind UGH I'm telling ya once you know what it means I know you'll change your meaning towards it.
48:09 😅, that's definitely the translation. It happens all the time. I don't know why people change the lyrics into those things when they create these kind of color coded videos.
Tear was about they were going to break up and it was mainly for fans but they finally stayed together ! That’s what the lyrics are about!
guys remeber colour coded lyrics aren’t always accurate and may not be able to capture korean nuance/context!
Live performances are way better not gunna lie. 😢💜
Facts!!
Aren't they tired of saying every song is repetitive? Come on. Every song has a lot of that element.
Jimin voice is different from avery one if you reaction to bts live in you gonna find out today I am army because of jimin voice
I'm not even going to waste my time. If you like SHALLOW artists with no content whatsoever, don't react to BTS, simple. Stay there with your "ratatata" and let real artists be appreciated by those who really understand music. ❤️
All these songs are 10x better live
Go in your car with the windows up, bass all the way up and just listen to louder than bombs and it gives you something waaaay different.
*Thank you*
(Understanding the how people from another country uses English mix with their language can be very important for you to fully get the messages they're trying to conveyed Bc you are rating A KOREAN song NOT AN ENGLISH song 😅)
thats actually just jimins voice and how unique and heavenly he sounds…
Why are armys watching this garbage?
That's Jimin's voice alone, you need to hear his voice in different songs, he has a different vocal volor in different songs
Pluto n pied piper is my top tear BTS songs along with rain and tomorrow
One of the biggest problems with 'serious musician' western reactors who are self-styled 'kpop haters', is that they don't focus on ALL the aspects of a song. Because they don't care enough about learning, they only care about their own 'expertise' and getting clicks
No interest in the theme of the song, or understanding its cultural/historical significance or references, or diving into decent lyric translations that parse the Korean wordplay - all of which are important elements in much of BTS' music
Everyone is free to have their own opinion but i guess i don't get commenting so decisively on lyrics or certain decisions when you can't understand the meaning, intent and cultural significance behind them.

The effect you're hearing on the vocal is called layers, they have 4 vocalists with distinctive voices of course they can do layers
Pied piper is a song for army as well i love that song.
just went back to look at the rm song you reacted to and its by faaaar the worst of any of his solo stuff- if youre up for it i highly recommend his most recent album! i dont listen to any but a few boy groups/male soloists (kpop or not!) and yet his solo album this year actually made it to the top 3 of the year for me! some of his english rap is kind of mid but when he gets going in korean the flow is so good you dont mind having to look up the lyrics at all :)
Guy on the right has some personal biff with jimin. It needs to be studied.
If you listen to Jimin's live vocals like who and like crazy you will hear that he really has a unique high voice
I’m fine with people not living bts’ music because it all comes down to taste and different opinions are ok. I just don’t like when people go into a review already thinking negatively. It feels bad faith
If you want basic superficial music stay away from bts...unless your harshly critiquing bts for the views and comments from army
No trust me ugh is really a very cool and great meaning to it u have to listen to it's explaination video to it no it's not a really fun it's real 😌💜
Not trying to bring in race but it is what it is.💜
omgggg😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thank God you guys dont produce for them. every suggestion you give is horrible idk
Pied Piper is one of my favorites! Thanks for the reaction!
They are reviewing like they are great singer.
Just the audacity to sing jimin's part.
I mean just hear ur voice man, u r just making fun of yourself.
