Yeah, because Joonie and Yoongi are really rappers and not just pretty faces who are supposed to rap in a group because they can't sing. And as for Hobi, he learned from the best and developed his own style.
I've been a hip-hophead my whole life. I grew up listening to all the legends and ogs of rap and I only decided to give BTS a chance last year. Not only is the rap-line the best in k-pop but they're definitely some of the most intellectual and skilled rappers I've ever come across and they're definitely way better that most recent western rappers
Exactly, the culture itself is just about s*xualising women, money and dr*gs só I was never interested. Until BTS - they changed everything I thought about music and made me appreciate different genres more 🥲❤️
Ugh played in the back of my head when I explained something to my coworker. He listened to Justin Bieber's song "Lonely" and said the same thing as the haters BTS depict in the song: "Oh yeah, bet he's so lonely in his multi-million dollar mansion, surrounded by all these commodities and celebrity friends" and I said back "yes, he might be. Just because he has more than you and me have, he's still human." Every day I thank BTS for not being just another boy group but for actually putting out a message.
That really bothers me. The one thing money can't do is counter the extreme weird isolation that fame causes... And there's more than one kind of suffering.
@@evantesseract737yea sadly, it’s a very well known or should be a very well known thing that famous or rich people are usually the loneliest. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS THE BEST RAP LINE. I love when the inner wolves of Namjoon, Yoongi, Hobi' burst out. Honey for my ears🤌 And it’s not surprising that during the interview they voted for this song, BTS likes this song. “Maybe our story will change this world” ...and I say YES! BTS 😎💜
One aspect I think a lot of Army miss or dismiss, but this song applies to us as well. Not just BTS haters. When I see Army getting into arguments with other fandoms or between each other, I think of this song. When I see Army being rude or man to reactors such as yourself because the don't like how content is coming out too. Fighting over whether people are voting or not, etc. It's exhausting. One person saying something you don't like about a member does not constitute doxxing or screenshots all over the internet. Bighit and Hybe have a format for reporting inappropriateness. The anger/hate is not necessary. I wish more Army would try to keep this song in mind in these situations.
Yes! I WH hi I to myself, use that to help out a charity or cause BTs likes instead of spreading hate, stream their music etc. They don’t need us spreading online hate. They’d hate it.
25:18 That is because color coded lyric videos don't translate the lyrics that good and sometimes even they don't get who is harmonizing and singing which part correctly. I don't know if anybody has told you before, but that is why between Army we encorage each other to not check lyric videos and instead go to doolset. So we can know the meaning of the lyrics as close to what it actually is as possible
yeah, they're often translated with google translate or something. Which is good for single words not full sentences, cuz sometimes you can't just translate things word for word.
Nah, fam. Most people just choose the wrong lyric videos. My rule of thumb is any BTS song released 2017 onwards, the most viewed lyric video is probably someone who rushed out a translation to get as many views as possible. So~ I generally ignore those translations with the most views (songs 2017 and up). If you use youtube lyric videos a lot, you also start to notice who not to go to for translation. Lemoring (the channel they're using here) is one of those untrustworthy translators. Jaeguchi is another to be avoided. You also start to notice who you can generally trust, for example aftaehyung or dial 6137.

The idea of telling people to stop wasting their anger on pointlessly hurting people and use it to change the world instead... It's such a good message, such an important one, and not something we generally hear in music 🤣 I think of Ugh as really highlighting Suga's own anger, but Hobi's delivery in it is really amazing and intense, and RM sets up a complex topic with brilliant wordplay - so they're all playing to their strengths 💜

The bts rapline is what got me into bts back in 2017. Ive always been into western music, specifically r&b and hip hop... i had never even heard of kpop or any korean music back in that time. So i decided to give them a shot, I was instantly impressed with Yoongi and then Namjoon and Hobi. I tried listening to other groups and checking out their raplines shortly after that.. and while some of them are okay, bts' rapline was and is by far the most seasoned and skilled one i have ever come across for Kpop groups. You can hear it in their lyrics and flow, how passionate they are when it comes to this genre. ( all very different as well). Since the very beginning they have always had a hand in their lyrics and production and it shows. I love showing rapline songs to my local friends, especially bc many of them dont expect them to be this good or likable lol.
It's a song that Koreans can fully understand. I'm grateful that foreigners can understand it easily because the dkdk people explained it so well. There are many hidden meanings of BTS songs, so sometimes Koreans need an explanation. 🤭🤭 Korean culture and Asian culture are quite different. People in Western countries think alike. Korea is still in a lot of anger. It changed history with its power. I'm proud of all this, but on the other hand, I'm worried that more and more people take anger like manure for granted. One of the lines that hit home with me was Hobi’s, when he basically said one word from you is a moment, but to someone else, it’s a life time. Last year a major K-pop star from the group Shinee took his life. He was the lead vocalist in Shinee.
Are you referring to Jonghyun? He passed away in 2017, not last year. Still such a tragedy; I feel sad when I see mv's of their songs when they were still 5 members.
Hate in K-pop is the worst . Many idols in K-pop have committed su*cide because of the continuous hate and depression and it's still going on . And those who did it were also from famous successful groups . It even happened last year too
its worth mentioning that in general korea ranks in the top 5 out of all countries pretty consistently year after year for suicide rate, so it is a large problem there overall. being a kpop idol in an industry that is fast paced, high pressure and dosen't prioritize physical or mental health will definitely make it even worse though.
Most of BTS's songs have much deeper meaning and it means exactly what explanation videos are saying if you see all the member's interviews about those songs and albums. what they talk about during their lives. i mean from their debut itself they had started giving out very deep messages about societal issues.

yeah, that's the last song with three rappers. But there's some duos between them! Some in BTS's albums and others in the rappers solos stuffs. Hope you guys check in the future ❤
David was talking about idols who took their own lives because of the haters. One of them was friends with bts and they even went to his funeral. I'm glad that bts' mental health is being well taken care of by their company. Also they have a good relationship and they are always there for each other. Plus armys are always right behind them. That's why i'm complacent that they wouldn't end up in something like that.

23:29 THEY know DKDKTV. They're a duo, David and Danny, and they used to do reaction videos, vlogs, and livestreams about any news, especially Kpop. They started out as reactors. They are one of the OG Korean TH-camrs, I would argue. Who you just watched was David. He created a lengthy vlog back in 2018 when he attended the MAMA Awards back stage and was part of the staffs (which is the first video I watched of them). He said one of the members (it was RM, I think), gave him a handshake and said that he knows them, as they were going up the stage to receive an award. David was sitting at the front row. DKDKTV is very popular, even amongst international Kpop fans. They were a great source of knowledge and news for us who are non-Koreans. They have been pretty inactive since last year as DKDKTV since Danny (the unapologetic one lol) decided to pursue directing films and MVs. David continued his TH-cam career and created his own channel, Korean Pizza Club or KPC, where they still discuss news about SK and SK entertainment scene.
just analyzing the video with you guys made me remember of a passage in the bible that says something like 'get angry but do not sin' and idk if they were aware of that but it just made me realise how wise they are.. i love them anyways, watch the live performance they nailed it!
David Kim mentioned on a Live he co-hosts a couple of months ago that he had been approached to work at HYBE in the creative dept and was told that he and the Explanation Video's were well know by the company staff. So one can assume, (as he had), that BTS has seen their work and was ok with it because if BTS weren't ok, I think David and Danny (DKDKTV David Kim & Danny Kim TV), would've received a different kind of communication from HYBE.....lol. David turned them down for whatever reasons.
Namjoon has recommended reading The Gift of Anger: And Other Lessons from My Grandfather by Arun Gandhi (grandson of Mahatma Gandhi). It is a good read for those who want more depth of how anger is good and why it should not be squandered. The color-coded lyric videos are quickly made. A song is dropped and within an hour the lyric videos show up. Many have errors in translations or who is singing what part.
BTS always talks to us through their music. They share their experiences both good and bad and their frustrations of what they see happening in the world. If you felt like you can have an intimate conversation with your fans it might make it easier to write lyrics needed to convey your message 😘. The connection of BTS and ARMY is truly special 💜💜💜
Hearing that this is their last rap line song is crazy. I can't believe t's been 4 years since that. When they come back together it's going to be insase 🔥🔥

ngl these videos help boost my memory of their songs (I got shit memory LMAO) so its really a win win situation that y'all are doing these explanation videos.
I swear raplines song against hater is not just giving replies to them but it has much more deeper meaning on it if you truly understand the meaning and if you are person who always try to improve yourself the lyrics give you different POV about things you probably don't think that much but its sure have impact on your life i always stunned by their lyrics 🤌
Thank you for this reaction! You mention that BTS have each other and ARMY. Don't overlook the fact that they also have BigHit which is quick to jump on somebody who crosses the line to malicious comments / defamation and have a zero tolerance policy on these cases. It was good having the explanation video because as non-Koreans, we miss a lot of nuances that a native to the culture immediately comprehends. In his doco "Road to D-Day" Yoongi put it into context - he said that idols don't have to do anything bad or controversial; people just blow up the smallest thing into a controversy. I hope you can also react to the live performance of this song - as you can see from the snippets, it is a high-energy performance. Best rapline in the world!
One of my all time fave BTS songs. Please see the live version that was made during the pandemic, set in a virtual boxing ring. JHope absolutely eats and leaves no crumbs!

So much has already been said. So, I will say, I agree that you all should try to react to their live version - shows lasers like a boxing ring. Hint! I love DKDKTV explanations. They also met or seen BTS at least once from what I saw. I’m sure BTS appreciates them. Thank you CCW! 💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦👏👏👏
@@photon___ I’m glad they saw a live performance. Seeing them in action should not be missed. Which performance was it? If you don’t mind me asking, Busan?
Love this one guys! I'm glad you guys got to see how bad the translation in the color-coded lyric videos can be. I hope that maybe you can start checking into doolset (even if not in the reaction). In addition, that channel, DKDK got valid criticism for building a career on reacting to BTS and explaining their songs and then the other member of the team (Danny Kim) said on a podcast that BTS popularity is exhausting and that they're standing in the way of OTHER idol groups and that they should step aside and let new blood take the lead in kpop. That's the hate David is talking about. Interesting because this song could be directed at people like them. Accumulating clout off the backs of BTS and then turn around and publicly shit on them and their achievements to try and lift up others in their place.
Es increíble que cada una de las canciones de BTS tienen una explicación tan profunda, por eso me encantan por encima de todos los grupos del mundo 😍💜 no es solo música que nos va a hacer populares, es música que va a a cambiar el mundo 🥰
This is why it kills me that they get dismissed as just a boy band. The depth and nuance of their lyrics are exceptional.

yeah, that's the last song with three rappers. But there's some duos between them! Some in BTS's albums and others in the rappers solos stuffs. Hope you guys check in the future ❤
Bangtan supremacy 💜
Their music is just 🔥🔥🔥
David was talking about idols who took their own lives because of the haters. One of them was friends with bts and they even went to his funeral. I'm glad that bts' mental health is being well taken care of by their company. Also they have a good relationship and they are always there for each other. Plus armys are always right behind them. That's why i'm complacent that they wouldn't end up in something like that.
Jimin’s second solo album, 'MUSE', will be released on July 19, 2024!
Pre-release single of Jimin's upcoming album ‘MUSE’ will be released on June 28, 2024.
You need to see Ugh! live from Busan! Last concert before announcing their enlistment and performed at a free concert to bid for the World Expo with government officials in the audience. They were sending a message!! Powerful! (Also rap line was incredible)
Jimin's pre released song ( smelardo garden machine band )from his new second solo album ( muse) is out tomorrow
Let's work hard for our jiminie army 💜🔥🚨
Oh finally a comment about jimin’s new release I expected Army’s talking about it and promoting it here but no one is spreading it and only few hours for the release!
Pls support jimin and prepare your accounts we are on a competition with other fandoms we should give it 200%
23:29 THEY know DKDKTV.
I just love everytime there is a rapline song and live! They are the best rappers!
I really love your energy, like the intros are so fun!! Keep doing the good wooork, fam
just analyzing the video with you guys made me remember of a passage in the bible that says something like 'get angry but do not sin' and idk if they were aware of that but it just made me realise how wise they are.. i love them
anyways, watch the live performance they nailed it!
Ugh live performance at YTC busan is a must watch
The live version of this at the 'Yet To Come' Busan concert is sooo good.
Yes!!!!!! This is my fav rap line song along with Ddaeng🔥 Thanks prim@s!
I love when he explains BTS songs.💜
YAYY I LOVE UGH SO MUCH!! GUYSSS NEXT THE LIVE VERSION OF UGH PLEASEEE
I like how in your sport's analogy you mentioned how their human pops out because I can totally relate that imagery to the song
THE BEST RAPLINE EVER 💜💜💜 Nice reaction ,
and Please bring back RUN BTS POLLS polls on youtube 😭🙏 It's been so long we didn't get Run bts reaction here :((
ngl these videos help boost my memory of their songs (I got shit memory LMAO) so its really a win win situation that y'all are doing these explanation videos.
The live performances were on another level too
The BEST RAPPER LINE 🔥🔥💜
thank god ive been waiting for you guys to react to Ugh. this is my second fav song! (first one will be magic shop) love you guys!
you guys gotta watch the live performance of this. Its 🔥🔥🔥
I think you should also watch the live version of ugh of October 2023 concert...there energy in it is insaneee 🔥🔥🔥🔥
the best rapline in kpop history
when the album dropped this song was my top 1
one of my favorite songs by bts ;)
There’s a live version of it when they did an on line concert
I really hope Rap Line release a song in BTS's next comeback bcs it's been a min. An album with just the 3 spittin bars is my Roman Empire.
One of my all time fave BTS songs. Please see the live version that was made during the pandemic, set in a virtual boxing ring. JHope absolutely eats and leaves no crumbs!
I was literally listening to this song before and wishing that you will react to this song and live performance of this song at yet to come busan concert and my wish came true 😭💞
I also wanted to tell you that I came across your channel when you guys reacted to IU’s Love Wins All MV, I loved your reaction so I went back to watch all of your BTS reactions since you guys started 🙂 you guys are my favorite reactors and I have enjoyed so much seeing your journey and seeing you becoming ARMY 💜 keep up the good work 🫶🏼 Borahae 💜
So much has already been said. So, I will say, I agree that you all should try to react to their live version - shows lasers like a boxing ring. Hint! I love DKDKTV explanations. They also met or seen BTS at least once from what I saw. I’m sure BTS appreciates them. Thank you CCW! 💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦👏👏👏
Of course, this is one of our favorites from rap line.
There's another rapline song left called Respect from Map of The Soul 7 (although it's only Suga and RM on the song).
After having watched this, you should view the Busan Concert version. It is beyond awesome and extremely powerful.
You guys should hv done the live version too😢it is good af💀
They did, on patreon
@@photon___ I’m glad they saw a live performance. Seeing them in action should not be missed. Which performance was it? If you don’t mind me asking, Busan?
@@m.johnson9358It’s from the map of the soul online concert
Favourite rapline song...
Best rapline in this world.. BTS 👑
I was waiting for this!!!
BTS Rapline is the best.❤️🔥.There's no next SUGA, RM and JHOPE and also there's no next BTS😇. Thank you for the video ❤
you have to watch the live performance🔥🔥
You HAVE to watch the live performance at the Busan concert! It will blow your mind!
Es increíble que cada una de las canciones de BTS tienen una explicación tan profunda, por eso me encantan por encima de todos los grupos del mundo 😍💜 no es solo música que nos va a hacer populares, es música que va a a cambiar el mundo 🥰
i enjoy you guys reaction to this
THE rapline. The BEST rapline
Gosh they’re still at it.
