While the Oda would be cool for a Spirit of Sanada-style game, I think they get plenty of exposure and story focus already. The Sanada were still rather minor with only really Yukimura getting focus in past games, so I think another lesser-known clan would benefit from the attention. Preferably a clan from the other end of Japan that got little mention in Spirit of Sanada like the Mori or Shimazu.
@@michaelbandada9887 Masamunes story would be really interesting. It’s commonly said that he was born too late, and that by the time he took command of his clan, Hideyoshi had practically already conquered Japan but he was really talented and smart. My biggest gripe with Spirit of Sanada is the bizzare decision to exclude Hideyori. There is a gaping hole in the end game narrative where he should be and lil Cha Cha is a poor substitute. I feel like if they had made her character a little more mature looking (Nioh 1 Lady Cha Cha was bad ass) and not with such a heavy kawaii style, the idea of her having a grown son wouldn't be so offputting. ridiculous. I havent really replayed this game since because of it.
Other than the narrative, I think the part that really makes Spirit of Sanada sell it for me is the educational aspect. Hyperlinks on the dialogues with relevant information. You actually study the Warring States history and you feel really smart now that you can piece together events and know their legacy after finishing the game.
The Spirit of Sanada fixed the timeline error regarding Sanada Yukimura’s service under Takeda Shingen by making his father, Masayuki Sanada, be the player character during the legendary battles at Kawanakajima until the massacre at Nagashino

Second is they should've added more characters like Masayuki's brothers, Lady Yamate or Yukimura's wife. If these characters were more or involved Sanada family would be complete. Also Muramatsu as a playable character would've been good too.
