The Blackstone Griddle has out performed and outlasted every grill I have ever purchased. My griddle has lasted 7 years and still going on strong. With some basic care and a good hard cover you will have invested it a long standing unit. My experience with grill from $600-$1000 is they fall apart in 3-4 years.
