@@therekter7871 Well ebola has been shown to be able to gain access to immunologically privileged sites including the central nervous system which does imply at least some ability to cross the blood brain barrier. It's apparently common enough that a quick google search came up with at least one paper that specifically cautions to look for symptoms of neurological complications as in patients where the disease has entered the CNS it can result in relapse of the disease. The paper does note that serious neurological symptoms are infrequent but the fact that it is possible at all significantly increases the risk that mutations in the future could improve the viruses ability to disrupt and cross the blood brain barrier even further. This after all generally how evolution of new abilities tends to work in that a weak form of the ability mutates first and then further mutations lead to even more specialised and more effective adaptation provided that the selection pressure is there to make the trait beneficial. For human pathogens that is often the case since it can offer significantly improved resistance not only against the immune system but against medicines too as many potentially useful compounds that might otherwise be useful as medications also lack the ability to cross the blood brain barrier.

since it's ebola, to stay true to the source material/make it a bit harder they should have you start with high lethality or severity. The main reason ebola didn't spread to more people was that hosts died too fast to infect new people, and so with modern medicine it eventually died out completely.
I think the idea behind extreme discomfort increasing lethality was related to the description saying it causes people to not move or do anything, which would presumably include eating and drinking, increasing lethality that way.

is newline character that should be replaced by moving all text after it to a new line, but for some reason it didn't happen so you see it.
It didn't happen here because there was no white space in between the /n and the following text. That causes it to not be interpreted as a standalone command.
It's not a command and you don't need any characters inbetween those escape sequences. It's just another character interpreted differently.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read here en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/language/escape.
If you still don't understand, well then nobody can help you.

Pravus have you ever thought of playing the mobile version of Plague Inc. I only say this because it is actually different in how it works, a strategy for mega brutal on Evolved can actually not work on mobile
That explains all of my failed attempts at using his strategies on mobile. Do you know why this is? I feel like most developers would want all the versions of their game to be the same in terms of game mechanics.

Ive been thinking for years that thinks like skin lesions and blood coughing should only increase infectivity if your pathogen is transmitted by blood. Also coughing and sneezing and things like that should only work if you have airborne transmissions. Otherwise it just doesnt make sense cuz like if the disease is in your respiratory system then how is a cut or skin lesion gonna transmit? The pathogen isnt INSIDE the bloodstream so how does it get transmitted you know

Who makes a lot more sense because there's another Ebola outbreak 2018 and 19 but this is recorded in 2017 but it's relatively controlled it's only in one country so far
