MAY Hopefully if they let us this year Oh,where ? Just near by Close to the city I'm at we have this camping festival at the 2nd weekend of May I believe
In April I will be going camping on the Gulf coast of Biloxi, Mississippi. So far I have plans for three to different areas around Mississippi. Just won't have the time for long trips in 2021. I do want to get up to the KRiver campground in Oklahoma by spring of 2022.
I'm a disabled man that will never be able to ride a bike. No problem through you I've been able to see the open road and I feel like I'm right there with you. Thank you so much you are amazing and you have a fan for life.
None of my business but what is your disability? My friends ( mix of engineers/mechanics) are try to reinvent motorcycles so that people with disabilities can get on the road with us. If I'm prying I don't meant too. Just looking for info on wants, needs, ideas, etc.
Thank you for giving me even more inspiration to fight depression and getting a motorcycle to do what you do. Motorcycles and camping is what I love. I really find your videos comforting and inspirational. Please keep doing what you're doing.
Cold weather camping I carry dry chemical hand warmers. Rip open the package, shake and throw in the foot end of your sleeping bag. Your feet stay toasty warm all night. Having motorcycle camped for many years. When I started camping on the bike when I returned home I made piles of my gear, stuff I used, stuff I didn't use, but might have needed. and a pile of why in the hell did I bring this. Over several trips the piles of stuff I might have needed and why did I bring this got smaller until they disappeared. I now keep all my gear in a plastic tub, carry it out to the bike, when everything in the tub is pack you know that you have not forgotten anything. Blowing up the air mattress (also a Big Agnes) I use a cheap Coleman battery air compressor. Does not take up much space, the D batteries last a couple of seasons, even blowing up others air mattress. Enjoyed your videos.
Hey Jess! I've been a video production teacher for 25 years and I must say you have some amazing b-roll footage and overall skills of filming and editing. The way your shots are set up with composition makes it enjoyable to watch your videos. Glad you were able to get out moto camping. Look forward to the next one.
My wife and I honeymooned in a tent smaller than that one at an off road park. 40 years later, we haul our Harley in the toy hauler and sleep in a queen size bed!! Great sound track!
Umm was it just me or did anyone else find it relaxing to watch Jess make and have her coffee by the stream .with the music play ..i diffanly felt something as i watch he relax.
Yay! Motorcycle camping. And guess what? We can ride again here (or at least I think so - things change almost from day to day here, extremely inconsistent) - so I did exactly that. Soo much fun! Sunshine and 15°C. Like a dream.
"For Ohio... not too bad." All native born Buckeyes understand. Any camping in Ohio in March is not to be criticized for any reason. Doing some planning today for my own summer moto-camping... Appalachians, Montana and Utah..... 80 degrees forecast for southern Indiana this weekend~~~wooo hooo. All that frost looked a bit to the chilly side of 40...
I cant wait to get my klr650 out and do some camping when weather gets nicer. Its about.. 20 degress and nice and mid.. to high 30's during the day. Safe travels.
I love these camping videos it’s part of the reason I started riding and you’ve given me so many ideas I can’t waite to take my first camping moto trip.
I like to go at least two nights. It's not worth it to me to do all that set up just to cook dinner, sleep, have breakfast and pack up again. Typically it will be two nights so I can spend the entire middle day hiking. Unfortunately I also have to go during the week in order to get a good spot. I like the new gear I just think it's a bit heavy. I use all ultra-light gear so I can fit everything in my two panniers and top box. But at the end of the day it only matters that you get out there so good job getting out there.
That's what I call a quickie, this year I made a new rule no more one nighters I'm staying a minimum two night stay where ever I go so I have one full day to ride, explore test the local bars eateries ect... I did a lot of one night stays or multiple one nighters but all ways seemed in a hurry so not this year😁 and those mid March trips 🥶 up in the mountains I did in previous years are happening a little later as well🤣. The Scrambler looks great Jess a little more challenging to pack than the HD but adventure wise more capable 👍 I love my bagger but my duel sport is my camping buddy🍻
I normally have a beer as soon as I arrive, get drunk out of my mind, then set up camp - back to front, inside out and upside down. I'll then ruin food, sleep by ten, wide awake and hungover with a banging headache by 02:00am wondering why am I there at all??? I wish I could relax like this young woman and simply take it easy. 😁
You will learn something new every time I've always just been on the road pulled over pitched tent and passed out. Got back at in the morning I've never planned on just going camping on my bike but I do believe I might have to just go ahead and try it out lol keep the rubber down and the bubble up. Be safe out there
Did I miss the name of the campground? Looks like a fun place. Probably not a state park. I love your Triumph. I rode a Triumph scrambler back in the 70s. Glad they are still being made and that you kids still enjoy the look, style and sound.
On the snozzle inflation bag for the sleeping pad, you open the loose end and quickly close it to trap air vs breathing into it. That way you avoid condensation inside the pad.
I mean condensation is pretty much inevitable but agreed that breath will hold extra water vapor compared to atmospheric air but it looks alittle chilly there im sure its pretty wet. But good tip!
So great you got to get out for this over nighter. I bet that place is beautiful in late spring early summer. The sound of the water must have been so relaxing. I did miss your string lights you always have, hope they make the next trip😊. Looking forward to your next camp out.
Had a rock explode camping with the family one time, kids were playing dropping stuff into the fire like the always do...all of a sudden a rock blew 12 feet in the air and landed outside the pit. Thankfully no one was hurt...never had that happen before!!
My wife and I just scouted it out three or four campsites last weekend while it was raining we can’t wait for some summer Moto camping adventures of our own. Thanks again for the inspiration
Right off the bat, store everything on the back seat in one bag. Stuff tends to find it's way loose. I installed some hidden eyebolts for strapping gear down. -cooking meat, if you can't control heat, control time.
Very nice camping trip , loved the scenery , thats why i do adventure riding down under in Australia 🇦🇺 , to get away from everyone and just good friends and their bikes , its great comfort , very therapeutic and a release form the stresses of living in a big city , thanks 🙏 for the inspiration again , i have been living like a hermit during Covid , now time to get away again , 🙏 thankyou
Have you tried Brew Bike coffee? It's based out of Austin, TX and ran by college students. It's basically tea bags that you can either cold or hot steep. I feel like you would really like it! I got it for camping. You can put a bag in water while you steep and have iced coffee in the am ready to go! Or you can steep it hot and it's ready immediately! I love it so much!
Best way to clean your frying skillet is pour a little bit of red wine into the skillet and heat it up while using the spatula to scrap off the crusted on parts pour it all out and then wash and rinse like normal and it's all good to go. I ride on a moped for my camping trips which I guess is still considered a motorcycle just different look and engine size lol but it's nice to be in nature with the peaceful quiet stillness and sounds of nature to keep one company 👌
It seems triumph didn’t really think out the whole adventure bike thing did they? Adventure set ups usually include top and side bags. The exhaust kind of negates the second bag. That is a great campsite! Cool camping gear!
Washington state has a number of national forests, in which you can camp off grid for like 20$ a year. There are no bathroom or any facilities, but it's extremely affordable, and you can find some incredible spots with no one else around. It takes practice to learn what locations are good and where exactly it's legal, but it's incredible. It's called dispersed camping and I highly recommend it :P
Great night for moto camping 🏕️🏍️👍 The new adv tent and airbed looks amazing. Beautiful morning by the creek. The bike , tent and fire looks great altogether by the creek 💦
Awesome and Thank you ! I grew up in western Pa. I can relate , Great work on the video , can't wait to see more , you are thorough on your gear and informative , I ride a 2016 Triumph T120 Bonneville and a 2018 Honda CRF 250 Rally ! Cheers from Tucson Arizona !

Very cool!!!! Thought you would have taken the tent with the garage since it’s still cold!! See your seat and the top of the tent it was real cold that night!!! It did look like a lot of fun though!! Oh I like my steak med rare too!!! Can’t wait for your next adventure!!!😀😀😀😀
Hi from the UK 👋. Loving your videos. I couldn't have more than 1 motorbike as I would feel guilty in leaving the other one behind. I would feel like I am cheating 🤣🤣🤣🏍🏍🏍
Cool filter coffee cup and loved the way the air bed blew up. You can use the silt in the bottom of the river to clean your skillet. Your bike sounds like it's running well. Thanks for the video.
Jess, thanks for the video, it was very nice. That was a pretty place there beside that clear , rocky river. Nature is so beautiful and inspires peace. I love it ! Your bike looks good. I rode a "67 Bonneville for a few years, back in the day, and loved that bike. They feel and sound so good. You had a nice set up out there with your tent, mattress pad , and sleeping bag. So Peaceful ! I think your steak and mushrooms looked delicious. Good for you. Yeah, all that gear stowed away nicely and compactly. You encourage me to get out and camp too. Thanks again, and ride carefully. Watch out for the other guy ! ( Four Wheelers)
All around the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache mountains (Just outside SLC UT) Probably some near Idaho, Wyoming too. Most of my camping is not in an actual campground. More just finding a good spot in the mountains and trying not to be a meal for the local wildlife
I like that tent and I am going to get one of those Stanley French presses you have. Making acceptable coffee on camping trips has always been a pet peeve of mine. Stay safe.
Mind spilling the beans on where that sweet spot is? I'm in Gahanna, and desperately miss my camping trips in Michigan by lakes and rivers. Getting spots in Hocking Hills feels like winning the lottery once weather breaks.
When camping you must be careful what ground you camp on. Avoid uneven ground or places that dip. look for ground with a incline or slight slope. Camp at or near the top. this is to avoid the tent getting flooded when it or it may rains.
OMG, I’m so jealous! No better way to wake up than the sound of a creek gurgling over the rocks! BTW, I think the plastic utensils are a great idea. The won’t scratch your pan. Hope this year I can get out and camp.....
That was assume!!!.....so peaceful and quite. I'm not much into camping any more but you make it very enticing. I may just have to try motocamping. After all I like riding my motorcycles and it would be much different then going to a campsite in a car. Your nearing that 100k mark. Stay safe out there.
Plenty of room on the back of the bike still, you should pack a quilt in a stuff sack just incase of a cold night like that. Can't beat being nice n warm under a quilt. :)
I think TH-cam is telling me to get out and camp as your video just popped up in my feed today. Best advice I can give you, if you don't already know is think like a Back Packer! As soon as you can, I'd upgrade all your camping gear to back packing gear, the high quality, light weight pricy stuff :). That helps get your bulk down and make room for other stuff. Took me awhile to upgrade, some of that stuff gets pricey.
Planning on a few moto camping trips this year. Mostly spread out through remote mountain areas and maybe even in the Columbia River Gorge. Mostly single camping, but a couple group camps as well here in the Pacific NW.
Hello young lady, I have just watch 2 of your videos. One where you erected two tents in your back garden and this one. Both good reviews so congratulation and thank you for publishing them on youtube, hope you keep it up. Great also to see a young person enjoying motorcycles and the outdoor live. Stay happy and well
Heck yeah what a great time , shout out to Lone Rider and Moro Camp Nerd for these awesome products 👍 This is such a great high quality video ! Really enjoyed this , I could smell the fire and almost taste the steak ! I wanted to pick up one of those flat rocks and skip it down the creek ! Thank you so much for sharing this time with us 👍😂
although I don't have a bike yet I am still eager to get camping. This was a great video. Glad to see you motocamping again. Looking forward to seeing you and Jordan camping together.
I've been watching for about a year now, and I've been wanting to get a bike again. Couldn't wait any longer so I'm picking it up tomorrow. Watching your channel finally pushed me over the edge, lol.

As soon as you can, I'd upgrade all your camping gear to back packing gear, the high quality, light weight pricy stuff :). That helps get your bulk down and make room for other stuff. Took me awhile to upgrade, some of that stuff gets pricey.
Definitely nice when the campground is empty and you can pick the best site!🤘🤓
Planning on a few moto camping trips this year. Mostly spread out through remote mountain areas and maybe even in the Columbia River Gorge. Mostly single camping, but a couple group camps as well here in the Pacific NW.
Your scrambler is a nice camping machine! Looks like you found a beautiful spot to pitch your tent. Be safe out there!
Seems like your getting the hang of the 360 cam. Very cool 👌👍
Nice bike. Sucks you have to kinda rush through everything. At least you had an opportunity though. We all got to get out when we can. 🙂
The logistics are just as much fun as the camping.
Exactly
If you can. Check out maybe riding to Houston woods state park in Ohio. Good rode around a big lake. Good camping. Good scenery.
Thank you so much for sharing this time with us 👍😂
Really love the sounds! It makes ya kinda feel right there. Very cool.
although I don't have a bike yet I am still eager to get camping.
Loving the Insta360 effects. Really adds to your videos.
Camping has never held much of an appeal to me, but you make it seem fun.
I like the peaceful location of your camp. Wouldn't like the 45 degrees however, lol. The only missed item for your fire was a grill grate.
