Pro tip: Double LIGHT press to Choose -> Single LIGHT press to select -> THEN scroll to use -> Single FIRM press to take quick photo -> HOLD FIRM press to take quick video Light press activates zoom control; THEN slide your finger left and right to zoom in and out respectively; Double light press to change to other actions like exposure control, photographic styles etc... and then light press to select that control and THEN again scroll left or right to make changes to selected control...
favourite feature of the 16 is that I’m getting the Plus and it weighs 199 grams which is lighter than my previous 14 Pro yet larger screen, and absolute favourite feature is the macro photography and slightly improved night photography

Thinking of trading my 15 Pro Max in on the 16 Plus due to the reduction in weight. So burned out carrying around a heavy phone and I don't use the pro camera features. The only thing keeping me from it is the 60Hz. Black is always my phone color :)
i traded my 14 pro for a 15 plus last year and do not regret it at all. even going from the regular pro to the plus there was a noticeable weight difference!
I love that the iPhone 16 has the new camera button and I love the new cameras and I love that the new iPhone 16 Pro Max is bigger and it just looks so much cleaner
My favorite feature has to be the action button..I just love how you can also adjust the Brightness of the flashlight on the dynamic island it's so cool.🥺❤️❤️

Heyy Dion, Thanks for the opportunity!! I really like the new iPhones, and my fave feature is the action button. It's just so customizable with yhe shortcuts app. But the 60Hz thing is so disappointing. But there are rumors about the 17 lineup all having ProMotion, so, if true, thats great!
IMO if you’re considering the regular iPhone 16, I would get the iPhone 15 Pro series. You still get access to the AI features. The A17 Pro chip is just as powerful as the A18. You get a telephone lens, either 3x or 5x depending on the size of the pro you want, and 120hz display. The display is also the same brightness as the 16 pro. And the cost is around the same $800-$900. Just my opinion, that’s what I did.
@ Street-geng, Personaly the regular 16 and 16 plus models have some mind blowing upgrades the action button, the capture button, the dynamic island with upto I hrtz refresh rate, the design change together with the bigger lenses to allow more light for better high quality photos,and last but not least the battery upgrade feature together with the ai features it's got more upgrades compared to the pro models.

It also invokes a sense of nostalgia with the 10, and memories with that phone. The action button seems to be interesting but I question how often I would be using such a feature.
The one I saw in store was covered in scratches (mere days after release) but the white one doesn't seem to show scratches as badly (although it's obviously still getting scratched) Shame as it does look nice in black
Excited for the implementation of apple ai and how it will work with all of the everyday apps. Also as a photographer the camera button looks very useful.

that's exactly what I did and I didn't regret it. The weight is awesome and the 60Hz is not that necessary. You'll love it! :)
Try nothing phone 2a. 120hz and 300 bucks. Same speakers, same cameras, same size.

All done, the feature I like about the new iPhone 16 is the camera and camera controls.
the problem with the aluminum is damages fast.. even with the dust it gets scratched

Honestly hated the 16 and 16plus camera angled but after a few looks kinda feeling the xs vibe.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got my base 16, that the back glass was matte textured. I genuinely thought that was only pro models.
The higher resolution 48MP main camera and better zoom. That would be a good upgrade from my iPhone 13
