    I wouldn’t mind to see the nightfall/raid/dungeon rotator retired, I know I’ve had my fair share of “Oh I wanna do this raid/dungeon but it’s not in rotation.” and considering HOW MANY raid and dungeons we have it feels like it takes forever.

      I concur, it is a hassle to wait for a specific raid to be the weekly especially if your clan only does one specific raid or you hope to find a good LFG group for that raid! So yeah I'd be all for these rotators to end and everything be farmable but I doubt Bungie will go for that.

      Not to mention they just skipped two of the paid dlc dungeons for rehashed prophecy. Had my squad ready to farm master duality… andddddd it’s gone.

      @@derekdumbeck5077 All things considered, Prophecy is one of the older ones. They could have done Pit but that would mean reissuing the Moon weapons too and give them origin traits. It was easier to do Prophecy weapons since they're isolated from the others, though I have no idea why they decided to vault some of them and replace them instead of just adding onto it.

    I think you said it perfectly- “who cares” it’s not spiking numbers… if anything it’s killing numbers when it’s a raid people don’t want/need. No stipulations, open them all up to be farmable, 1 raid and dungeon being focused for double loot would work for enticing ppl into certain content.

    They should make a weekly rotator that only buffs drops. Like imagine getting double raid rewards for a week. I think that would be a much better incentive.

      Or heck, make it double Spoils of Conquest so people can pick up more loot at the end of the raid. That would also let people who have everything stockpile Spoils to spend when the new raid drops.

      I agree on this. By changing the rotator so that the featured raid/dungeon have bonus drops, instead of that raid/dungeon being the only one farmable, I think that a lot more people would actually do them more.

    Master difficulty raids and dungeons should be available whenever, not only when their respective raid and dungeon is in rotation.

      Funny thing is...raids and dungeons are the things most of the playerbase agrees are the "best" content. And those rotate out regularly, or aren't farmable any time. Meanwhile...stuff like patrol zones, which most of the playerbase agrees are pretty banal and boring and not really worth anything...those ARE "farmable" any time, and I put that farmable in quotes, because...have people ever "farmed" patrols? I doubt it.
      You'd think Bungie would do a massive pivot and turn raids/dungeons into THE content that constitutes most of the game, the stuff you can visit constantly, and maybe swap a single patrol zone in every week or a different one per season as a site of importance...
      But no.

      Season starts, BIG jump...bout a month later or so, massive drop of. New season starts, BIG jump...month and a half later, massive drop off.
      Rotators are not producing good enough sustained players to justify keeping them. It's BETTER for players to have as much content as possible to play, and when they feel like leaving, they can. Keep that door open, and let the players back in when they want to return.
      Does it force the devs to work harder to make interesting content to bring people BACK? Yes. But trying to build content that keeps people 24/7/365 is nearly impossible, and untenable to expect devs to do.

    Six weeks is a loooong time away from a game. I imagine most players will find something else in that time rather than waiting for the one activity they want to play to come back.

      I'll be real, I miss the weekly rotation by a day and say, "damn, next time for sure"... Then I forget until the weekend of that week and either my group aren't around cause they're bored of the game/ doing other things with their lives, or I can't be bothered and I say, "next time. For realsies."

    Not to mention the reward structure. Every raid and dungeon encounter should drop one weapon and one piece of armor, or at least let us choose like the coil does. It sucks ass farming for hours only to get useless pieces of armor instead of the new weapons

      I would love if it was a thing, 2 days ago we were farming kalli with a friend and while he got 4 borders overall i've got a single border because ~65% of my drops were armor (for context I counted it and from 20 tries we did I got 13 armor drops...)

      Especially when armor that isn't artificer is pretty much gonna be shard juice anyway.
      It's really not hard to get a decent armor at going if you're not big into endgame content, even easier if you are but you're not getting your god roll armor from a raid lmao. I know I never did even before artificer. Raids give sub 60 stats more than they give even 61 and spikes? Don't exist.

      It's honestly baffling that armor drops still aren't just disabled after obtaining the full set in non master dungeons, literally 0 reason for non artifice armor with 50 stat total to be dropping when I'm trying to farm a cold comfort or Lingering Dread etc.

    Actually yeah this brings up a good point. Recently some people have made some new light experience videos like Jez and Shadow. It can be a some frustrating and confusing experience. What doesn’t help is the rotator system. I have a couple of friends who know I play Destiny fairly regularly and are a little interested in it. I would like them to play the game and maybe think about buying some of the expansion so we enjoy more content together. It’s hard to find exciting and cool things though when the one free dungeon is out of rotation meaning we can only really do it once per week especially since they only have one character. They don’t get the finer details of their sole character so trying to introduce one or two more doesn’t make any sense. If they go into pvp they don’t have cool weapons to use because they’re so new. I like the idea of the dungeon/raid rotator. Maybe even a dungeon/raid/nightfall rotator. Just something where we can have fun, farm stuff, and they can learn about how their character works in greater detail without having to wait 6 weeks which suck the air out of the game.
    “Hey how did you like prophecy?”
    “Honestly that was pretty ngl. So what do we do now?”
    “Well it’s not the feature dungeon this week so we can do it again but we won’t get anything from it.”
    “Oh so when can we do it again?”
    “Like 4 weeks from now”
    Actual conversation I had and I could hear the disappointment in him when I said that. Doing nightfalls isn’t going to be that fun as the drop rates in hero are super low and he doesn’t have the light level (or build) for legend or higher. So what the fuck am I supposed to show him?!? Comp?!?

    It'll be helpful for me too, because I get burnt out, you get burnt out, everyone gets burnt out, and new games come out constantly, so missing a cycle could mean missing a cycle the whole season for me

      This 👆👆👆 Guardian games brought back some passion for me, and guess what!?!? The rotation is for things I don't need to farm. So I could play spire on repeat for medals and loot... But I don't really need the loot. So I guess I'll farm nightfall strikes until I get burnt out again before the rotation changes

    Every time a new Raid comes out it becomes harder and harder to farm Adept Raid weapons. You already get at least 1 week per-season to farm a specific Master Raid, and sometimes you get 2 if they're on the tail end of the rotation when the current season starts.

    1000% agree, its crazy they don't even have an in game way to tell what the featured raid/dungeon is without looking through all the planets for the pinnacle drop symbol, aside from the notification that flashes on your screen the week prior, that most people accidentally skip because it pops up as you are launching an activity or going into your inventory.

    100% agree. And how about removing the silly "keeping the CP on another character" mechanic? If you've run the raid/dungeon that week, you should have easy access to every CP on that character

      Clearing the raid should grant you access to the checkpoints of fresh and the encounters that you yourself were present in clearing
      If you do DSC, and only do taniks p2, you should be able to load into Taniks p2 from orbit, and fresh checkpoint.
      This means players still have to reach and beat the encounter once that they want to farm

Any week where garden of salvation is the weekly raid, or some ass dungeon is the weekly, it's instantly a week where i'll log on for the first day, do crota and last wish for some missing red borders, and just not play for the rest of the week because there's no point.

    I need one item from Ghosts of the Deep to finish my Collections tab. When it was finally due up in the rotator, they pulled it in place of a four-year old dungeon, pre-reprisal, that nobody was farming anyway.

      Yeah, same, actually. I need the rocket and the exotic. All I'm missing from that dungeon, so I was super excited to farm it and finish up the title. Then they pulled it from rotation with literally no makeup week, so now I have to wait 6 more weeks or whatever to do it again. And then my clan wonders why I've been so checked out this season and have tossed around the idea of leaving once TFS is done and we clear the raid.

    Here's an idea;
    The rotator isn't what needs to die, but its effects need to be adjusted. If we want to keep it, all dungeons and raids should always be farmable. However, let the featured activities do something, like double perk rolls, or even double drops like trials/crucible has been experimenting with. Ultimately, if Bungie wants to encourage plays to play a given activity, they just need to put a reward behind it that isn't limiting to the player. If they can do that, or something similar to it, I see no reason to fully retire the rotator, as in concept, it could have potential.

    whether i listen to the video or not i already agree, imagine a raid's weapons getting a new perk pool in the next week so you want to get the current god rolls before then, but the current week's raid isnt the one you need, at that point its tough luck you shoulda grinded at a previous time

    I agree with the bulk of what is said here, but don't forget that rotators are good for exactly one thing: filling up lobbies.
    With player counts at absolute lows, it can be tough to get a group together. I worry that removing raid rotators entirely would make it more difficult to find groups, especially for things like subclass raid triumphs or master challenges.
    Personally, I would love to see Bungie remove dungeon rotators entirely and make raids rotators feature 2-3 raids at a time.

    i understand why they have to have the rotator. to have more experienced players playing the raids and dungeons, so new players and unexperienced players can find sherpas or get help. to focus the players into a specific raid or dungeon.

      TBH, dungeons should be excluded from any rotations. Unlike the raids, they are pretty much soloable, so anyone would be able to easily learn dungeon mechanics by their own.

      @@maythomas4591as a solo player it’s nice to know that on certain weeks there will be a bigger pool of people doing certain events. that’s how i farmed RON to get the shotgun. it’s not about the design of the game, it’s that there are so many raids and dungeons to pick from, it thins the player pool. the actual percentage of people that raid isn’t that big. it makes it harder to find a team if they were spread out between all the raids on any given week.

    As much as I agree, bungie will never give us them all I don’t think. I think there are a lot of ideas tho for middle ground, having things in rotation for 2 weeks I think would make sense, but one dungeon basically swaps out in the half way point for example, something like:
    Week 1
    Spire & Prophecy
    Week 2
    Prophecy & Shattered Throne
    Week 3
    Shattered Throne & GOTD
    Week 4
    GOTD & Heresy
    So things are in rotation longer, people have more time, and there is still something fresh each week

    I do like the pinnacle rotating, and I also like the extra Vanguard points, etc., but I definitely agree that farming weapons should just be available whenever (maybe not exotics though, because they need to feel a bit more exclusive IMO). I think there definitely is a balance between nothing and a rotation of some kind.

    You know what would be big brain? If they kept the rotator but it applied double drops to that weeks content. That way you could farm any time you want, but there would be those extra optimal weeks.

    I feel like a very easy compromise would be pairing two dungeons and two raids up each week, so we get two of each. So let’s say Last Wish & Kings Fall raids with Grasp & Ghosts dungeons one week, then Garden & VoG with Shattered Throne & Prophecy the next week etc. That way Bungie get their “weekly refresh” and the player base don’t have to wait as long. Then maybe switch up the pairings with each new episode

    you see the reason weekly rotators exist is so that people actually you know play old raids and dungeons. I recall distinctly that before rotators, if you wanted to play an old raid and you didnt have your own group, FUCK YOU TOO BAD YOURE NEVER GONNA PLAY GARDEN AGAIN CAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO ANYMORE. At least with Rotators, you could get SOME people together because the few people who want to stack up over the weeks that its not featured. Not all of us have 100 different friends who play destiny2

    Also the Master versions of dungeons don’t show up on the director until it’s the rotator. Me and my buddies were going to do Master Ghosts, but it was the weekly then when it was the rotator Bungie changed it to Prophesy so now we have to wait another six weeks.

    Some weeks are straight up a dungeon I don't have, a raid with outdated weapon and an exotic mission than only drops weapons I already crafted. Also still waiting on Momentum Control for my seasonal challange lol.

    This is the same issue I have with the mission rotator, if you are busy or miss a week then you just get shafted for weeks waiting for it to come back, not to mention when it’s in rotation it only drops 2 red borders guaranteed

    Nightfalls could either be moved to a daily rotator or making all adept weapons available in their vendor so you can farm the specific one of the week in the strike or earn Ciphers to buy the ones out of rotation.

    This. I usually don't comment but needs to be said. The rotator was a good idea in Witch Queen to keep things fresh and even motivated me to complete all raid seals aside from Last Wish. I will say though, it has run its short course. It's time to stop timegating Raids, dungeons, and campaign activities (empire hunts, WQ offensives, nightmare hunts, etc.). Now that I'm away at school, I get on once in a blue moon and frequently on break, and finishing seals, patterns, etc now is a nightmare. I straight up cannot finish the last of RON's title or LW because I have to wait MONTHS. There are simply too many activities now. It is no longer a desire to farm issue, loot refresh and fireteam finder fixed that. It's now a time accessibility issue. Now is the time when raiding is awesome since there's no new content and Fireteam Finder is fantastic for it, whether you're doing it for the title or loot. Just think how many more people would do raids if they could farm for what they want when they want it. For example, Master VOG, if it was permanently available with all challenges, would have TONS of people raiding on its own since its loot is still insane to this day. It's so disappointing to log on Tuesday and see the weekly raid be something you've completely cleaned out with the title and/or all the loot because it means you could be waiting up to 9 WEEKS for something you want to come back! God help you if you got on during a Garden week (I love you, I do, but you need a refresh). Don't get me started on dungeons or the campaign activities. Have you all gotten your hierarchy of needs catalysts done this week? Better get on it or it'll be another 6-8 weeks. Did you long on to see Pit of Heresy roll for that week? Guess you're locked out of an artifice farm. As for campaign stuff, Gumshoe, Splintered, and Harbinger grinders: I SEE YOU and I agree, you shouldn't have to wait four or more weeks for you to get all the triumphs for the seal or just the weapons Dreaming City is another story). Lastly, please let us just select which exotic mission to play, I want to play Pressage again and get a crafted dead man's.

    the only thing that makes sense to keep in rotation is the adept trials and nightfall weapons and maybe the raid exotics. thats it. I spent 40 hours last week farming prophecy cause it won't be here again forever and I needed me a darkest before, prosecutor, and judgment. took me 36 hours of doing echo kills to get a darkest with incan healclip

    I get why the rotator is there, because having weeks dedicated to a raid will help people get loot from there or the title, for example trying to get Garden's title outside of the week it's being featured sounds tough, but they could have multiple raids and dungeons featured weekly like maybe 2 or a week.

    As far as pinacles go, if they stick around, just have it be the first raid and dungeon you do drop pinacles. If that's possible, that's my personal best case scenario for rotator removals.

    I needed a better cold comfort. I was at a convention during the first week Ghosts was farmable this season, and then I was working Mandatory Overtime + a vacation during the second week.
    I can not agree with you more on this take. I’ve been a huge advocate of this for a couple weeks now.
    Edit; to bounce off your idea off the weapons being locked to a certain strike. I think that this could work, but we still keep the rotation.
    What I mean is: if Wardens Law is locked PsiOps Cosmodrome, the next week, it would move to a different strike. That way, there’s still a rotation to think about, without dictating your entire being to a singular week

    Only thing I would dislike about this is that I use KF to farm spoils(for time lost found verdict) and you can't spoil farm it when it IS the rotator

    Another issue with the rotator is if something happens (like last week we got the prophecy refresh) and they decide to swap in a replacement to the normal rotation like them swapping ghosts of the deep with old prophecy, now the players such as myself have to wait 6 more weeks to farm ghost of the deep.

    As someone who has waited 5 MONTHS for momentum control, I can't agree enough. 2:50 imagine going out of town the 1 week momentum control returned, just to wait ANOTHER 4 months. 4 MONTHS. Not 6 weeks. MONTHS. The fact that they ALSO said Seventh Column videos (so, my entire channel) makes them uncomfortable. It's unreal how much they hate the word FUN.

    Pretty simple solution (imo, idk how hard this would be to actually code but it seems almost trivial):
    Keep featured raids/dungeons but instead of making them the only times you can farm those raids/dungeons just make it so that they're double drops during that week. Everything else can still be farmed but only as single drops. You keep the feeling of "THIS IS THE WEEK TO FARM FATEBRINGERS" but without it being insanely restrictive to the point where people can't just go and farm fatebringers on an "off" week if that's the only time they actually have time to farm.

    The crazy part about this is that there's literally no downside if everything gets to be farmable at once.
    Like, "oh no, I can now farm this specific piece of content every week if I want to and not when the planets align 😱"
    The system made kinda sense with D1 and the raid "exotics" (the primaries with elements on them) to keep the Raids somewhat fresh but there weren't that many raids to begin with and we didn't even had dungeons in D1 so you didn't have to wait that long for a specific raid to be in rotation.
    Also if I remember correctly you could just run the same raid over and over again with the same class and still get loot, even if it wasn't the weekly raid.
    I just ran Prophecy again with my Titan and did the first boss solo and I only got glimmer, nothing else...

    I think one thing the rotator helps with is that it concentrates the player pool into one raid and dungeon each week (two if you count the most recent raid and dungeon). It’s really hard to find an LFG group for a raid that isn’t the weekly one and I worry that removing the rotator may make it hard to find groups for the less popular raids and dungeons. I think they should make every raid/dungeon farmable every week but also give you additional spoils of conquest for the weekly one

    They definitely need to bring back the gm node. If I want to do birthplace of the vile on psiops cosmo week, I shouldn’t need to use a bot to load into that strike. It’s ridiculous especially since there are very few nightfalls that can be completed super fast

    NGL, I talked about this issue over a year ago. As far as raids and dungeons go, there too much bloat for a rotator to work efficiently, so there’s absolutely NO reason as to why we should be waiting a month and a half for a desired raid or dungeon to be featured to be available for farming gear or the master mode to hunt down triumphs. Sooner or later, the same problem will happen to the exotic mission rotator as more are added.
    Either remove it or add more raids and dungeons that can be featured in a given week.

    My fireteam and I were waiting for GotD to come back around as the weekly featured dungeon 2 weeks ago so we could finally do it on master, but guess what? Not only did they change it to Prophecy, but they changed last week to Prophecy too, and then they didn't feature GotD and just put it right back to the end of the line!
    To say the least, I'm more than open to being able to have full access to any dungeon to farm anytime I want.

    A compromise solution is to have 2 raids and 2 dungeons and 2 nightfalls on rotation but staggered, so each of these is around for 2 weeks and you have 2 options for farming each week, but something new if cycled in each week. This would be a good standard change.
    Now I agree, make the rest of this season till the final shape like season of arrivals where you can farm anything endlessly to your heart’s content. That was one of the best things of that season.

    im actually pretty ok with all raids one week and all dungeons the next week as a new rotator. The preferred way this goes is that we just get rid of the rotator but i suspect they want some kind of rotator for player retention reasons so im willing to compromise for a drop of fun stuff to do lol

    If they really want to keep the rotator in play, here's an idea: Make it so every couple of weeks the rotator will change to a universal one. So using dungeons as an example:
    Shattered Throne > Pit of Heresy > Any > Prophecy > Grasp of Avarice > Any > Duality > Spire of the Watcher > Any > Ghosts of the Deep > Warlord's Ruin > Any > Shattered Throne > etc.

    100% agree on the farming issue via rotation being a hassle, but with some people who might still need pinnacles would want the rotator to stay, so what would the solution be instead?
    What could work is that everything can be farmable, but with the rotator instead making the selected raid/dungeon drop an additonal piece of loot at the final encounter once per week (per character).
    I think this would alleviate alot of the issues with farming, but still get people motivated to do a rotated raid or dungeon because they would get an extra chance at an exotic if its tied to what they are playing, on top of the pinnacle they could be missing.
    What do you guys think?

    Same goes for master lost sectors. While not as bad as raids and dungeons in regards to wait time if I need to grind for a certain exotic and find some time after work on a Wednesday but realize I can’t even go for a helmet I’d like I just lose motivation to even play the game. I’d like to be able to grind for what I want when I want. Rant over

    Chibirobo said give an option after an encounter for weapons or armor. Cammycakes said at the end of the encounter, let the player buy the weapon at the end of the dungeon like a raid system. I agree with anything to make the dungeon drops to be better.

    The trouble with farmable stuff is that it also tanks legitimate runs.
    My example is Last Wish. The first week this raid's red border revamp was released, everyone just spam farmed Kali. And then the raid went back to being it's normal fairly low population counts. No one wanted to do a raid. The reasons vary sure... some people just want things fast, some people don't want to run content that is old for them, some people just like doing the speedy exploit for it's own sake, and I'm sure there are many more. And that's all fine.
    But it is still what happens, and if all raids were always farmable then that's what would happen. Same for dungeons, same for GMs. And it does happen when they rotate in. But by keeping the rotator, it contains that frenzy in a 7 day box.
    With that said, you're absolutely right on the money that there are too many Raids and too many Dungeons for a weekly rotation, and too many to keep track of in a daily rotation.
    What a lot of other mmos do is give the player a "bonus loot" run of the first "dungeon" (or equivalent) they run each day. Bonuses are banked each day you skip to some small(ish) cap. I imagine something like that would work well here. Give us a daily bonus where completing all encounters in a single run grants several pieces of bonus loot from the activities loot pool. This can be done once per day in any dungeon or raid, and if you skip a day then your bonus is banked, up to a cap of... idk... 3 total bonus runs. Additionally, as long as you're on a bonus run, you'd still get normal loot. So if I had three banked bonus runs, I could get 3 full clears worth of loot in a day, plus 3 bonus chests if I wanted to.
    I think something like this would encourage people to engage with the content, and it would also allow for farming that is limited but still pretty generous in terms of payout.

    When the Rotator system was first introduced, there were like 4 each for dungeons and raids. Not terrible, you'd only have to wait a few weeks for the activity to rotate back in. Now it's double, 16 total activities, so the system doesn't work. It desperately needs an update.
    Everything needs to be farmable at all times, with that week's active rotator activity dictating which awards Pinnacle drops. **Continuous** Pinnacle drops.
    A non-Master Nightfall selection node (like how it was originally introduced for GMs) should be available the week following the final Nightfall in rotation (6 weeks for each, 7th week and on allows to farm any one available, each offering a different NF weapon for targeted rewards; that week's active GM offering Adepts. GM selector reverted to it's original state).
    Additionally, unless you've never completed the activity before, Master dungeons should only reward armor and regular dungeons should only reward weapons. Nobody farms regular dungeons for the armor, and if they do it's for transmog. Master dungeons give Artifice armor, and that's the only reason ppl farm that version. For the dungeons that don't have Master variants (Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy), they should only reward the armor **very** seldomly, opting to reward weapons the vast majority of the time (pertaining primarily to Prophecy over the other two, which have no unique rewards outside an emblem; ST and PoH share their loot tables with their respective planetary location rewards, why tf was Prophecy given another refresh before these??).
    Master raids are a bit different, but as they don't offer any unique armor (still a wasted opportunity to not have the Age of Triumph armors as the Master sets), once a full set has been acquired then weapons need to become the primary reward.
    Another outdated system added in to become a problem for the future, such is the way of Destiny.

    Yep. Wanted to grind for the Navigator and the bossfight is already annoying. Was not available when it wasthe featured dungeon so I missed out. Missed it the second time because I didn't keep track of a 6-7 week rotation for a game I barely play anymore, which caused me to just lose all interest in farming for it in the first place.

I couldnt stand it when i was actually trying to farm raids for the first time, having to wait a month or more for it to be farmable, we gotta put that bs on our calendar like its a job to farm weps on bungie's schedule

    You could highlight a raid per week with modifiers and possibly better loot as well, such as higher red border chance or double drops or something. Then every raid can have farmable loot but still feel fresh and doesn't feel like the games being spread thin.

    Adding a pinnacle or material drop to a weekly activity rotation makes me have to do pit of heresy solo again, dungeon I would totally forget exists if it wasnt in rotation

    If they really wanted to limited players to farming only one raid/dungeon/nightfall weapon per week, a cool thing they could do is let the player choose that for themselves. So if you want to farm King's Fall for some craftables you're missing then you select that when you log in the first time after reset. Want the cowboy hats from Spire? Select it and go nuts. Missed out on The Slammer's release week? That's okay, you can target farm it for yourself through the brand new attunement system they're releasing w/ Into the Light (all they would need to do there is adjust the drop percent from "increased" to "guarantee" when you get the clear).
    There are compromises to be made here, s'all I'm saying. If the developers are so dead-set on this "one per week" FOMO thing then at least let us choose what we wanna FOMO on.

    I'm so f'ing glad you said it. I'm currently trying to get the armor set from Ghost of the deep, and having to wait a whole week after doing it once just sucks. It hurts even more when the first time you do it, you get weapons from every encounter but the last. That's not fun grinding, that's a middle finger held up high from the peaks of Mount Everest to my time.

    i thnk the reason rotators existed is bcause if everything available all at once and everyone farm what they want for a couple weeks then later on nobody will play that dungeon or raid anymore, that will make lfg to farm them kinda dead since everyone scatter all over the place, with rotators atleast they can focus the player base on something for that week

      i agree 1000%. the people that are saying to do away with the rotators are players in clans that have established and easily accessible and competent raid teams that they can call up any time to raid. i love me some datto but i feel like this is elitist datto.

    Yeah it poses such a challenge too if you didn't do the challenges for master raids to get a title/seal for them. I've pretty much decided they just aren't worth doing at all since it takes literal months to get around to it because of the rotator. I also believe that. People also keep "cope" roles in their vault "just in case" there is a random patch that buffs this and that so they don't have to wait for it to be the rotated dungeon/raid in order to farm for it.

    I'm happy Datto is advocating for this. If they want to have a rotator for pinnacle drops then that's fine, but for the love of god just make every raid/dungeon farmable. The rotator system was fine when there were only like 3-4 raids/dungeons to rotate through, but we have so many now that it takes forever to loop back around.
    I remember back at the end of Shadow Keep they made everything farmable since a lot of raids and raid lairs were going away and it was a ton of fun doing the raids over and over.

    If I'm remembering correctly, the reason the rotator exists was not for novelty but to not split the population. The problem with making all of them farmable (especially the raids) is that you fracture the population massively, and old raids that are not fun or rewarding go from being hard to find a group for even when its the featured raid to downright impossible once the population is fractured. And while this isnt a problem for the experienced guardian, its massively detrimental to any new player just going through the content. I think they should pull a season of arrivals and just make everything farmable till final shape, but the rotator is somewhat of a necessary evil.
