- Frist, I need to give credit to the legendary @Bucketgetter! From the comment section of his video, Bucketgetter goes into detail about Shiva's attack behavior. Basically, If Shiva's attack is never Nullified, he will not use Megidolaon or Impaler’s Animus. This is all the info that had an impacted on this video, and I will not be going into more detail about Shiva and his party (unless it's about strategy). The reason why is because all the info I know comes from Bucketgetter's video, and that wouldn't be right of me to do. So if you want to learn more about Shiva's behavior and this boss fight in general, please click the link right under this paragraph. The only similarities to my and Bucketgetter's videos, is that I used Zaou-Gongen Essence, and I put Resist Physical, Fire, and Elec, on my demons, and Nahobino. BUT, I still approach this fight in my own way.
Strategy
I took the more normal, Ignore Kali and Ganesha, and focus on Shiva strategy. But when Ananta is summoned, I do things a bit differently. I do damage to him, but I don't kill him during the first Nahobino party turn, to prevent him from being summoned back Instantly. Ananta will use Masukukaja on his first turn, so during Nahobino's seconded party turn, Nahobino will uses Critical Aura then Murakumo to finish him off to prevent a dodge, and Mediarama. Moving on to the party. I chose Tao and Idun to be my main sources of healing, the buffs that come with it is just to much to pass on. The main problem with this is the MP, which is why I brought Atropos. She has Omagatoki Free, and makes maintaining Tao and Idun a lot easier. But I have to say that Tao's healing seems to be a lot weaker to Idun's, however Tao's skill also has the Dekunda effect, so it's prefect for the beginning of the fight, or whenever Shiva uses Tandava.

I did not use Incenses, but I did use Sutras and Balms. I also did make use of the Miracles skill Warrior's Conception, Unforgotten Memories, Prayer of Strength, Vitality, Magic, Agility, and Luck for fusion.

The fact that Murakumo's Crit Aura is not just for DPS and Press Turn purposes but also to reduce RNG in this strat really tickles my pickle. Such a good vod, so much intelligent response to the flow of the battle. This will really go down underappreciated because of how niche challenge runs are.

20:33 also just wanted to say that Robin and Zephyr discovered that the reason Shiva can Tandava right there is because Ganesha missed the previous turn.
Around 45:00 Nahobino dodges Hades Blast which causes Shiva to use Tandava the following turn.
Good job, it is always fun to watch people tackling challenging scenarios in turn based RPGs. I also appreciate that you take the time to share your strategy in the video description.
Great work! Didn't know all that about his AI, very interesting and big ups Bucketgetter. Are you going to do Demifiend next? There was one content creator who actually managed to solo the Demifiend with only the Nahobino.

There's the hour long fight I was waiting for. This'll be good.
I watched the whole thing, it's funny, the battle actually goes by faster than you'd expect when you're watching, and I imagine it's super easy to fall into a routine with a fight this long, like when you misclicked and cast Mudobarion on Shiva by accident, little mistakes like that could totally ruin the entire run, props for not making any more mistakes after that. Really impressive work.
1 hour fight... HOLY... and a 15 level difference... You have officially beaten the game... (unless you plan on doing Demi-Fiend too hehe)

Shiva truly is the destroyer. This whole fight i can feel the tension. A single miss would of spelt doom and having to keep track of his patterns. Big ups man!

I beat Shiva, both on normal and hard, solo with a mostly physical build identical to that. The only thing that was different was I added Bufula to give me extra press-turns and used Murakumo for big damage against Shiva and Ananta. I tried without Bufula but when solo, you REALLY need the extra action that would otherwise be provided by a teammate.
Also just started the video so IDK what you did with his other allies but I opted to keep Parvati around over Ganesha for a couple reasons.
1. Draining light INNATELY and not via a passive doesn’t cause Shiva to go into his Almighty mode.
2. Since Kali never used Dekaja in my run for reasons I could not explain, I could always match Parvati’s defense buff with my own attack buff.
Also I chose Bufula over Dyne and Barion because of MP conservation
1. Whatever you do with Shiva's allies' attacks, Shiva does not care. He won't go into Impaler's Animus mode if you Null/Drain/Repel them, the only thing he will do regarding almighty is that instead of gathering Magatsuhi at 50% HP, he will just use Megidolaon once, which happens regardless of what you do.
2. Dekaja/Dekunda are used on the allies' third turns with a 50% if all allies are present, while with another 50% chance they will loop back to their first skill. If there is an ally missing, they will use Call Ally instead. Since it is likely you eliminated Ananta in time for Kali to call him back each time, you never saw Dekaja from her.
What is Accursed Poison? I've heard of a couple of strats to beat Shiva, but I've never heard of that one.
A few people including myself had made a video on Shiva using it. To put it simply, it's a Magatsuhi skill that is very broken. If you want, watch my other Shiva video and you will see what I mean. Sorry for the VERY late response!
