I dont even know how people deal with Hard mode high encounter rate. They make the game look so easy. meanwhile I get ambush, back ambush and lose 1 hour of progress pretty often.

I hope they remaster DDS 1&2 like Nocturne. I got rid of my PS2 a few years ago and have really wanted to play this again.

lol I just did this on normal. Same team basically. I also used kannabi veil on that first turn to withstand dreadful gleam. Learned along the way absorb or reflect will end opponents turn not just void 2 turns; it’s more relevant in this fight than others since she has 8 turns. I don’t think she used gleam more than once.

How on earth are you going to find the damage output to do the next one?

Argilla best girl. I don't know why, but I love this fight, he hits like a truck, and with smarter AI he would be a total PAIN to deal with (very bad pun). I really neglected this channel, but good job my guy! I need to keep up up to date with your videos 😅😅

Great job! I knew you could do it! The fact that there was powering up needed shows how brutal this fight can be. Good luck with satan. I don't even know if it will be possible with the lowered power and absurd amount of things to keep track of but I believe in you! This playthough has been awesome and I am sad it is almost over.

Ok so through fighting her recently I actually discovered something. Ishtar usually opens on Dreadful Gleam. HOWEVER if you just throw everything you have at her turn 1, she'll instead use Ziodyne.

vishnu is really weird among Resistance Shifting Bosses he nulls ice when he uses fire for instance i guess that's what happens when your game's element system is an ODD NUMBER (5), whose idea was this?

It’s almost like Shiva never left, he’s always a highlight for these low level runs. I’d ask if this was harder than his battle in SMT:V, but I think it’s safe to say this is easily more difficult given the number of variables you have to manage: from constantly changing weakness to annoying status’s, on top of not having the quality of life we have these days. Both fights are hard for similar reasons, but the PS2 era of Megami Tensei really just has this vibe to it.
