The Jesta is actually better in most battles than the unicorns. Only the best pilots use them and their mission is to protect and recover that drained Gundam. Their combat performance is in the spectrum between the M ii and Nu gundam. Their pilots are the Blue Angels/Anakin level of the UC era Correct me if I'm wrong and I haven't read the novel but none died in the ova or narrative movie.

If you mean weapons like the Bullplup of Shekinah, I get what you mean but there are some counterexemples like the Peacock Smasher beam crossbow and Murasame Blaster (Crossbone Gundam)

@@nofuxgivens2797 correct, none died on the OVA, but in the novel, the Jesta Cannon was assigned to the General Revil and was destroyed by the Sinanju

Due to the unicorn series being shoe horned into the greater uc story the unicorn gundam never appeared in all late uc storys.
And it's honestly something I'm glad of. I like the RX-0s but they are too much overpowered for their own good
