@@LetsEatPlants yes! I used NextMilk in a soup last year because I didn't have any coconut milk, and it just didn't blend in 😫 it didn't affect the taste but it looked so weird! It totally just separated into little tiny bits lol
Yes to a Tofu video and Costco price comparison as well please :) I really like the taste of the kumato when it ripens a bit. Love a good hot sauce - currently in love with Sriracha - so thick and garlicky! Yum! I live North of you and go to the Costco in Newmarket so when I go next week I will check for the Next Milk.
Wohoo! Will add them to the list. 😃🙌 Oooh Sriracha is a good one too! Oh fun, I should check out the Newmarket Costco sometime and see how different it is from ours (E. Markham). 😄
The name of your show is the best I’ve heard! especially because I love healthy foods veggies ,plants and fruits just the name Let’s eat plants 🌱 makes me hungry I’m so glad I found your channel 👏🥰
Just wanted to share that tomatoes have a very thin skin which makes it virtually impossible to wash off the pesticides/herbicides that they use so when purchasing they should always be organic! 😊
Yes please on the tofu Video. Also for the frozen strawberries one can take out a portion for the week, simmer them on the stove to drive off the excees moisture & then store in fridge to use. Good hot or cold.
Yes please on the tofu hack video. Oh, nice tomatoes. I have noticed over the years that the Sunset brand of tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes ... so flavorful! Years ago, when I first discovered this, I actually wrote them a fan letter. Pretty nerdy, huh? Oh, and the coffee beans should be stored in an airtight container. I buy my beans from a local roaster ... and the container I use has an inner "lid" that you push down to releases the air, then you put another lid on top of the container. I think they are called vacuum canisters or airtight canisters.
Hahaha omg I love that! It's something I would do too. I'm sure the company loved hearing it! And thank you for the coffee beans tip! I will put mine in an airtight container today. 😃
I forgot about that cauliflower rice- will have to check my Costco. I like to add it to pasta or mac n cheese as the kids can’t really tell it’s in there! 😆
The best way to store coffee beans is to put them in an airtight opaque container to keep the light out. Store in a cool, dry place like in the garage away from moisture. Air, moisture, and light affect coffee beans.
I store mine in a mason jar. Before that I grind my beans at Costco, vacuum seal a months worth each and store them in my cabinet (a dark place). Pretty sure this is not the bet way to store it, but to lazy to grind my beans every morning.
Yea I'm with you on the not grinding every day! I usually grind about a week's worth at a time, but it's still a good bit of extra effort each week. 😅😅 And thank you for the reminder for dark place for storage!

That’s so wild! I saw someone else comment that as well. 😳😳 Tbh, this one wasn’t as good as the fridge ones! Either that or they change their formula? 🤔 The one we tried about a year or so ago was great so I was a bit underwhelmed by this one. 🫤 And yes! The tofu video is coming. 🤗
