Heads up duramax owners with DEF. Wait until you are very low on DEF, you will most likely need to lossen and slightly lower the DEF tank in order to access those top bolts on the rear shocks. 2016 GMC Canyon
Great video..thank you so much for showing me how to do this and you're right I could do it. BUT I need the fronts done too.. lol.. can you do one on the fronts??? Please and thank you
Hello, I just aquired a 2009 gmc canyon slt low milage but too stiff a suspension with off-road suspension package from dealer. What do I need to do to make this truck a smoother ride?
Hey Johny, Thanks. Yeah, I believe you can do it without taking the wheel off. It's nice to have that wheel out of there to make the video (better viewing angles) and a good opportunity to undercoat inside the frame (access holes) with the wheel out of your way.
Your the best man. Info with a bit of man humor!
Out of alot of shows I've seen. This is the best. Explains everything and demonstrates hands on
Thanks VDay, You are Right On!
I commented on your front shocks video. Changed front and rear shocks. Thanks for Clear videos. my top bolts on rear were 10mm.
Excellent, thanks for adding your comments Gabe. I'm glad the video helped. 😀
Great video! I used this yesterday to change my 07's rear shocks, and it made the process much easier.
Thanks for the comment Brandon. I'm glad this video helped you replace your shocks. Enjoy the smoother ride. Cheers!
Another great 👍 video....going to change the shocks on my 2005 Canyon with 95,000miles this spring.
That's low mileage for a 2005 Canyon. Congratulations Rick and Thanks for the Great Comment. Cheers!
