  • @LeviATallaksen
    @LeviATallaksen 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +114

    I immediately thought of two situations that should be clarified before the game started, and they both actually turned up:
    - Does it matter if something is captured? (which would mean Bxd5 isn't forcing Bd4)
    - Does it matter where it moves FROM? (which would mean Rb8-c8 isn't forcing Rf1-c1)
    Apparently, Simp thinks the answers are "no" and "yes", but it was never really addressed.

      @rohan1864 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@remus-alexandrusimion3439 the guy didn't mean whether a capture is forced if possible to mirror. he meant whether a move that is a capture forces a symmetrical move when that symmetrical move is possible but is not a capture. he even gave an example.

      I don't think some people are properly reading the OP's question. There are multiple ways one might interpret the word "mirror" in the challenge description. Those insisting there is only one way to interpret it are immediately proven wrong by the fact that, in this thread of replies alone, there have been multiple interpretations.
      The OP was right to wonder how Simp would interpret the rule. I had the same questions he did.
