Like there’s normal moves, weird moves, and engine moves and they’ve got so much game knowledge they can differentiate between the latter two.
Elite level chess is a pretty small world: the best players all know each other. No-one bursts onto the scene and instantly starts beating top GMs - they have to rise up through the rank(ing)s. Paul Morphy put it best: when some random guy in a cafe challenged him to a game, he seemed surprised that Morphy was so confident and asked "How can you be sure you're going to beat me? You don't know who I am." Morphy replied "If you were able to beat me, I would know who you were." If someone creates a new account and immediately starts beating Hikaru, there are two possibilities - either they're a GM who's decided to use a different account, or they're cheating.
One of the biggest give aways is taking 3-5 seconds per move. Even having a chess engine on very low depth it takes at least 3-4 seconds to go back and forth making moves. Showing you someone is not working with just one screen but has the engine and chess website side by side and are going back and forth. The reason I play exclusive bullet or 3-0 blitz on websites and nothing longer. Even a 3/1 blitz game gives a person the ability to play a full game using an engine. Then of course there are always the autoplay apps they can use too.
0:22 I've had a game against this mf Hikaru is facing, and was wondering how he tore me up. Same pfp, same username, from Germany and it Turns out hes a mf'ing cheater
The last clip is great because you can see how excited and passionate about chess David is for spotting the move right away, but you can also see Magnus' respect for the game immediately calling it out 😂😂
@SlumpyCatMEOW it's cheating for sure but it was kind of accidental I think. When someone blurts out a big hint it's kind of hard to pretend you didn't hear it. Howell shouldn't have said that but I can't blame him for being exciting seeing it before magnus did lol
Question: as I don't even understand chess to a basic level where I could even recognize this as cheating, what makes it so obvious to super high end players. Are these not just really leftfield moves these players could/should then be incorporating into their own games? Or are they just so odd they make the rest of the game incredibly difficult to manage around? Isn't this just another puzzle to solve and probably will be as chess continues to advance?
Basically if the opponent plays the best move or at least the 3rd best move by taking 5 seconds per move he is cheating or he was lucky af to always get the best moves or he is very strong and he should be at least a 2700 GM. It’s not like the GM suddenly blundered a piece or made an obvious mistake that leads him to a bad position, it’s always like the opponent find an advantage by the little inaccuracies of the GM and when the GM knows he’s losing and tries to be resilient… surprisingly the opponent manages to convert it without any issue. And like Naroditsky said at 5:28, the GM can feel he plays an engine by the fact that when he plays an idea it doesn’t work, none of the ideas work and AGAIN either the opponent is completely lucky to get an amazing position or he is very strong and should be a GM and not just a regular GM.
Couple of months? I don’t think you realise how much he has left to get to GM lol. He needs to get his rating to 2500 (he’s like 150 away). He needs to consistently be playing tournaments with a high win rate. And then the 3 norms. That could take a year if he is perfect. But 2 is more realistic. And these kids are getting better in quicker time. It’s difficult to say at this stage.
I don’t think y’all understand lol he intentionally let him play that, he attacked his queen on his last move he just didn’t realize at the end of the sequence it’s losing

That's a massive material gain, and it's the only possible way to get the pawn to promote. Rooks with closed postions are arguably not as strong as knights, so getting a queen and clearly the knight or removing a pawn is exactly what you need to improve your position. It's also creates the only two candiate lines for a check which you're always looking for. Doesn't take much calculation to see you get a queen and go up an extra 7 points of material or worst case win a pawn with check and get greater rook mobility. Seems like a pretty human move, but it would probably take me around 30 seconds to find that. Im only 1986 in 30 minute rapid though. So was just curious to get someones perspecive from bullet.

Others said it but yeah it's either a program/browser extension as other said, or it's just fully a trained robot: what Hikaru was playing is an example of that where it just played automated moves every set amount of seconds.
its because he lost interest in the game because he stares at the engine the entire time thats how he knew the guy was cheating, and theres no point to cheat against a cheater unless you want to get caught yourself.
I last played about 8 yr ago and this happened back then too. I quit because I just couldnt be bothered dealing with it. Fortunately, chess was just a hobby for me and not a profession. They are playing games that normally would be played in a 2-hour period in the first 40 moves then 30 minutes for the next 20 moves then 15 minutes after that. They can beat the computers, but they have to play the long way instead of bullet. I've found that fast games don't improve skill they reinforce the mistakes.

It's funny because 95% of cheaters in any game aren't good enough to hide their cheating because they don't know enough about the game to understand what makes someone good to begin with. See this in counterstrike all the time where people will use wall hacks and aimbot to get insane shots but don't know how to peek corners or take locations without just blasting in like Rambo.
That's the thing, nobody "destroys" a GM without the GM making a blunder lol. There's a reason they're titled as Grandmasters, simply cuz you can count the amount of ppl that can beat them

"So you lost at chess, though, get some skills..." Now you know what Kramnik feels. Also if you are too dense to figure it out. The cheater accounts aren't getting banned if they work for ches kom, only those cheaters who are regular people get banned. And if you are not to dense you will figure out that the ches kom bots/controlled accounts that you think are cheating are there to determine your skill level and keep you there if you don't pay more for premium. And if you beat several accounts like those you get auto-banned for cheating, even you are just that good. Think on that.

@@Joshwaheazo you would never find it because you would never even think to look for it. You like any other human, especially being sub2000 would simply win the horse and play 2v1 rooks. If this is smtg u would find in 30s you would be much higher rated than 1986 rapid (which is like 1700 blitz maybe)
How in the world did David have a glance for barely a second and immediately knew that the queen can be trapped?
He's a phenomenal player. Just doesn't get enough recognition in the fan community because he's not all up in the drama and doesn't do lots of commentating gigs compared to other brilliant calculation wizards like Danya and Hess
"what the fuck is that move"😂killed me....though true the move is hard to find
i can really sense hikaru's frustration about the premove, like if you cant even be bothered to see obvious moves on the board, and you wholeheartedly rely on the computer, as he once put it, your just watch a gm play a computer, is it that fun for you?
how they using computer to play ?
any idea ?
Its called second Tab or Smartphone
Hey, what’s the outro song?
the last game was against Galchenko Matvei
Good job making a compilation video on cheating. Unique and entertaining
Magnesium Calcium 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really hate cheaters. They’re the reason I quit playing online chess.
What's wrong, can't win against little program?😂
@@jimmcneal5292what’s the problem? So intellectually bereft and perpetually unemployed that you play chess to cheat? 😂
@jimmcneal5292 and you can?
0:27 bro in Germany chess cheat just beat 2 PHI Chess Player.!
Pls i need the music name
I wonder how they cheat in bullet
probably a program that plays for you or shows the best move with arrows on your screen or something
Browser extension
Others said it but yeah it's either a program/browser extension as other said, or it's just fully a trained robot: what Hikaru was playing is an example of that where it just played automated moves every set amount of seconds.
ChessBot program
If it was classical all you would need is a simple app on your phone besides you
Using Luffy as the pfp for your cheater account is sacrilege…
4:08 How did Daniel miss that triple fork?
its because he lost interest in the game because he stares at the engine the entire time thats how he knew the guy was cheating, and theres no point to cheat against a cheater unless you want to get caught yourself.
Imagine getting 2 queens Vs Hikaru as a random German and thinking you will get away with it
Music name?
me trying to watch chess, the background music for no reason "WOwoowodha hwo a ohh wooo aaawo oa"
Dude this completely defeats the purpose. I guess faking some skill is better than not faking and not having any
I last played about 8 yr ago and this happened back then too. I quit because I just couldnt be bothered dealing with it. Fortunately, chess was just a hobby for me and not a profession. I enjoyed the grind, but oh well..
It's no different than a bunch of cheaters over at tarkov dota or cs. I'm not forced to play, this is someone elses headache.
The music please
I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t realise that ai could beat gms at chess reliably let alone be this superior
They are playing games that normally would be played in a 2-hour period in the first 40 moves then 30 minutes for the next 20 moves then 15 minutes after that. They can beat the computers, but they have to play the long way instead of bullet. I've found that fast games don't improve skill they reinforce the mistakes.
@ that’s interesting. Thanks for sharing your insight. Appreciate it
@@markharrison6498 Computers are absurdly strong at chess. Deep Blue was able to beat world champion Garry Kasparov in 1997. Humans do not stand a chance against the engines. It doesn't matter whether the time control is fast or slow.
@@markharrison6498
No super GM can beat computers . Nowadays engine have 3500+ elo so it's humanly impossible to calculate moves in same depth as engine
That last joke was pretty funny
Title: 11 Minutes of GMs fighting CHEATERS LIVE!
Proceeds to slide Levy as well
You missed the time that lady used drunk stockfish.
The song lol
I couldn’t resist using it 😂
@@TightKnights 10/10 lol
"What the fuck is that move" has to be the best answer to a killer move
It's funny because 95% of cheaters in any game aren't good enough to hide their cheating because they don't know enough about the game to understand what makes someone good to begin with.
See this in counterstrike all the time where people will use wall hacks and aimbot to get insane shots but don't know how to peek corners or take locations without just blasting in like Rambo.
That's the thing, nobody "destroys" a GM without the GM making a blunder lol. There's a reason they're titled as Grandmasters, simply cuz you can count the amount of ppl that can beat them
How do you know they're an engine? Maybe they just played the best game of chess they'll ever play 100 times in a row.
Wait did MAgnus actually get his account closed LOL!? No way! :P
I think everbody had the same cyborg opponent... It revealed itself in the end... I think the cyborg is called Magnus Carlsen but I could be wrong, feel free to correct me...
I still wonder why people do this. Like what’s the point? Luckily most of them are in lichess
