Charge limited it to 80%
Unplugged it at 7am …. Used it with some Bluetooth accessories and TH-cam too for 3hr straight while waiting for sister in hospital… then also used it normally for music and SM
It’s currently 06:50am(next day) and I have 26% left….

@@jamesjext3r ok , now it looks like my phone battery is better, its drain slower, in the morning battery is 100% for me and in 19pm its 40% and other day in morning in 3am is 30%

@@CallMeVidd I use my phone for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TH-cam, some photos and sometimes to watch TV shows on streaming apps, and I dont know why always the tech tubers only get 4 hours with this recent phones, I have an iPhone XS Max with 81% battery health, running iOS 17.4 and lasts 4 to 4 and half hours of screen on time, thats the funny part because they kill the phone using the camera all day, and then they say "only 4 hours, this battery life is awful" when normal people gets the double of screen on time with normal usage

I am really happy with my pink iPhone 15. I initially wanted to get the 15 plus but like you said ‘ the IPhone 15 feels good in my hand’. It’s like the perfect size! The photography is just crazy. Am really enjoying that. The battery is good too. Lasts me like the whole day pretty much. This phone was worth every penny.

the plus fits well in your hands too. my hands are very small and i was worried that the phone would be too big but it’s super light and easy to hold.
I'd love to see a real day in the life for the 15+ considering it's supposed to have amazing battery life.
If does. I have the 15+. The battery is insane.
15+ Lasts me around 48 hours which is crazy since I’m shifting from the 12 pro which used to die after 12-14hrs on a really good day

Just got mine. It will last you minimum of 24 hours, mine did with normal use.
I just upgraded from the SE 2. Didn’t care for the white washed colors, but I use a case anyway. I like the bright screen and the camera. The refresh rate is a non issue for me even though I love pro motion on my iPad Pro. Disappointed in the battery life. I expected more because of faster processor but I think a lot has to do with iOS 17. It’s still growing on me.
I’m happy I copped the 15 it’s dope

Honeslty, I play on a gaming monitor so the Hertz matter, however, I am currently rocking a 13-mini and the 60hz, although annoying its the overall phone that matters and if the phone can do the job right. Just regular content, social media, etc... So honestly, the 60hz is just fine for the average person.

It’s probably because I’m a nerd and I’m aware but I did feel a difference the first time I saw a 13 Pro Display in use, the first time I used someone’s 14 pro and when I actually switched to the 14 pro all while I had the iPhone 12 base model.

The 48mp sensor on 15 is smaller than the pros (iphone 14 pro & 15 pro) actually. Anyway I uses both a 14 pro and 11, the 120Hz screen didn't really affect me much.

My theory other than differentiating factors and profit margins is LTPO. Regular People will absolutely notice a difference in processing power and battery life but if the actual difference in opening an app or scrolling or jittering is low enough then regular people wont notice it. Without it being an LTPO display it will definitely affect battery life which most people will be more unhappy with especially regular customers
I don't usually feel heating, but using the app of the online Adidas store.
The iPhone 15 pro Max warms up pretty much and gets uncomfortable with the touch. All the apps are up to date and I'm on IOS 17.0.3
Just leave the app and the temperature starts to normalize.
The only bad thing I got to say about the 15 is why didn’t they at least make the screen 90 hz ? It’s not a deal breaker but I hate when apple skimps on things like this . Sure it’s not the pro model but this is a $800 phone in the modern era … like I’d take 120 or 90 hz display over that “Dynamic Island” feature

i tried the 15 and the 15 pro side to side in an apple store, and gotta say, was a little bit hard to feel the smoothness in the Pro display than the 15, but after a few minutes it started to feel it, but not too much. i really liked the 15.

iOS and its animations are so smooth that I really don’t think everyone MUST have 120hz to enjoy a phone throughly. It’s nice for certain but when I went from an 11 Pro to my current 13 Pro I barely noticed or if I did I adapted to it very quickly and it never crossed my mind again that it’s even different lol.
Maybe I should pick up my wife’s SE 2020 and mess around on it to see what it’s like going back to 60hz after being on ProMotion for over a year 😅
If there was actually video content online or something similar that made use of 120fps it might be a different story but since most is 24, 30, or 50-60fps really imo the only time you notice is scrolling quickly and how important is that really. I don’t game so can’t comment on that (I do know for PC gaming high refresh rate is amazing) but likely any game that supports > 60fps would struggle to run at high refresh rates like Genshin. All that said, I do think it’s bs Apple hasn’t at least stepped up to 90hz on their lower models but for a phone refresh rate doesn’t matter much if the OS already runs smooth and has fluid animations. The sole reason I get “Pro” models is the cameras
I say bs no 90hz because of the price and in comparison Android phones in that price range do have 90hz or better. It’s more the idea of not getting what you should for your $ rather than the experience
The only way for an average person to tell the difference between 120hz & 60hz they have too have both phones side by side scroll real slow then you'll see the difference can't scroll fast won't really see

I totally get where you're coming from! Honestly, I think the whole fuss about refresh rates is blown out of proportion. I mean, you see all these folks on TH-cam and in iPhone reviews obsessing over it, but in our busy lives, who really gives a darn, right? To me, a phone is just a tool-it should get the job done without turning it into a competition. I'm not saying a higher refresh rate isn't cool, but it's not a game-changer for me. On the flip side, if a phone can take awesome photos, that's what truly matters. Nobody's out here comparing pictures and saying, 'Mine's better than yours.' We take pics to capture moments, and if the tool does that well, that's all that counts. I'm rocking an old Android phone, and it serves me just fine. When it's time for an upgrade, I'll consider all these things and pick one that suits my needs and budget.

I just went to do a hands-on test between 15 and 15 pro.
As an ipad pro user with a fabulously worth it xs max, I did feel the difference in refresh rate between 15 and 15 pro. Mostly because I’m more familiar with how a non pro res screen should look like against a pro res screen.
It’s not so noticeable to the point of it being annoying, but I think, in 2023, 90Hz as a starting point should be expected just for the value of the money alone.
Didn’t try to go for gaming test because there was no need if it was already noticeable with just swiping around the basic apps.
I think the people that don’t need to care about this are people who don’t do anything beside the basics on their phone and only use iphones for ecosystem’s sake or just apple fans who want to upgrade from their current older models, which are totally plenty.
Was going to go for the pastel blue because I find 15 pro underwhelming, but considering how long I go with a phone, might reconsider 15 pro for the sake of value instead.
I've got a Xs Max too and that phone held up so well for the 5 years that I've owned it. It's crazy how good it is even in 2023, no lag and still looks as slick as the day I bought it. Love that phone.
I kinda agree even if your a tech lover even you wouldnt notice the diference between 60hz and 120hz is impossible to see the diference one thing that i like about apple the screen is so smooth doesnt matter if you use 60hz or 120hz

I just really wish that it has a refresh rate. Even with 90hz, that would be fine. I just like the idea of how smooth it looks when scrolling even though I don't play mobile games but going through tasks to tasks look so luxurious, something cheaper android phones even have.

I always use regular iphones for my daily use as i want the best battery life n less heat in Africa... To be honest 60 hertz screen on an iphone is way smoother than other phones n i believe that's why Apple knew we actually demand n need it... Don't forget they are constantly collecting data from their users 😊

Depends if you want an iPhone or an Android. S23 has more features and will get a similar amount of software updates. I used to prefer Android but I prefer iOS at the moment, so I’m using a 13 mini (plus I wanted this form factor). If I end up switching back to Android, Samsung will be the one I get.

As a Camera Man & Video Editor, My eyes can see the different between 30fps, 60fps, and 120fps. If iPhone 15 or 16 in the next year give us a 120hz screen, maybe I'm gonna switch from Android to iPhone. Because the Black iPhone 15 look really great.

Tbf iPhones’ 120hz don’t feel like 120hz. I’m pro iPhone but I have an S23 Ultra I used for like several months until I had to go back to an iPhone, and the Samsung phone is soo much smoother and it’s very noticeable.

I'm a average mobile user. I mostly use it for social media and browsing internet. I don't know how you guys don't feel any differences between 60hz and 120hz.
Even if someone sets my phone's refresh rate behind my back to 60hz or 120hz I can immediately spot the difference just by a single scroll.
Like they could have easily given a usb 3.0 port but why choose 2.0 even now? Simple so they can just change it to 3.0 next year and convince average apple user to buy the new iphone.
